The Arrancar's black eyes looked at the shinigami in front of him full of judgment. He will not be fooled by these young shinigami. After all, he had data on Soul Society shinigami, information Aizen left on his loyal supporters. Including the white hair in front of him. A commander. Known for his brilliance and talent as a shinigami.
But he still remembered Aizen's assessment of all his former colleagues in Soul Society. Toushiro Hitsugaya is brilliant, but that doesn't mean he's flawless. His age was young, making him inexperienced, his mind naive and his rudimentary bankai made him not as strong as the hollows of a commander might judge.
The Arrancar grinned thinly. This shinigami will be defeated in front of him.
"After the chaos in Soul Society, I heard they lost a lot of shinigami" said the haughty Arrancar. "And I can't believe you're still holding on, Toushiro Hitsugaya."
The white-haired Shinigami looked rather surprised. He did not think his enemy knew his name. And maybe he could immediately guess that the Arrancar knew of his abilities.
"Don't worry," grinned the Arrancar, pulling a katana tucked into his waistband. "Let's end this, shinigami."
The arrancar lunged forward, unsheathing its weapon. Toushiro pulled Hyourinmaru on his back. The two katana blades clashed, splashing sparks in the cold air of December.
Harry returned to the recreation room half an hour later. The Gryffindor Tower is deserted. There was only Hermione and Ron, who seemed to be finishing their PR. Ichigo was also there, looking at his book without reading it. Many times he glanced at the dark window. Out there, a fierce snowstorm was sweeping around the castle.
"Why are you taking so long?" ron asked, looking at the tearful Harry in the armchair next to Ichigo. Ichigo seems to have just realized Harry has come, blinked at him. Harry himself remained silent. Still shaken at what happened to him. He was torn between telling his three friends what had happened and remaining silent, bringing the secret to his grave.
Hermione and Ron exchanged a glance. Ichigo looked at them in confusion.
"Cho, huh?" ask Hermione without further ado. "He cornered you after the meeting?"
Dumbfounded, Harry nodded. Ron chuckled amusedly, only stopping after being stared fiercely by Hermione.
"So – uh – what do you want?" Ron Goda.
"He.." Harry started out in a choked voice. "He's – uh…"
"Are you guys kissing?" ask Hermione smoothly.
Ron sat down suddenly until his ink bottle spilled and the contents splattered on the carpet. He looked at Harry very curiously, while Ichigo was just shaking his head.
"Well?" ron was impatient.
With doubt, Harry nodded. Ron immediately shouted out loudly, then laughed in a dark laugh. Ichigo looked at Harry, whose face was blushing, Ron who was too enthusiastic, and Hermione who looked at Ron with disdain.
Soon this topic of romance continues between the Golden Trio. Ichigo half listened. He is busy guessing what happened in the Toushiro fight out there, unknown to anyone but him, and maybe two other senior shinigami who obviously will not interrupt.
Ichigo barely hears when Hemione says good night after finishing talking about Cho Chang-Harry-deceased Cedric, nor does he pay much attention when Harry and Ron climb into the boys' room first.
Out there, the storm is getting louder.
Toushiro leapt back from the wild streak of the Arrancar. But apparently, the sabetan is not just a mere katana swing, but contains a large enough reiatsu, in the form of wind power directed at it. Toushiro raised Hyourinmaru, fending off the wind power with his frozen reiatsu.
"Not bad, Little!" scorn the Arrancar. His black eyes flashed cunningly, brandishing again his weapon. The wind force similar to the huge scythe roared towards Toushiro.
"Hyourinmaru!" The huge ice dragon formed as soon as Toushiro swung his zanpakutou, providing protection to its owner from the attack of the Arrancar.
Toushiro read the situation. It's really just gonna take time. The Arrancar is obviously playing around to explore his abilities.
'Don't let her take off her ressureccion, ' Hyourinmaru reminded. 'His Reiatsu could affect anyone who was in the castle. In addition, to defeat Arrancar in that form, you will need a bankai, and the situation will become more complicated…'
Toushiro hissing held the stinging. Unexpectedly, the force of the Arrancar's wind hit him, creating a deep nicks wound on his left arm.
"Well, don't daydream, dong, Commander," said the Arrancar chuckling. "Isn't it time to play more seriously?"
"You're right" Toushiro said in a statement. He raised Hyourinmaru who had been in the form of shikai. "Time to be more serious."
Toushiro darted forward, making the two swords clash again. For a while, he would try to fight in close quarters. Risky, indeed. But in this way, he will get a full picture, convincing his analysis that the Arrancar is a long-range attack type, with wind as the element.
"What's your purpose in coming here?" tanya Toushiro in between his efforts to fight the sword with the Arrancar.
Arrancar was grinning. "Well, why don't you try to get me to talk to that, Toushiro Hitsugaya?"
Toushiro gritted his teeth. It focused its reiatsu on Hyourinmaru, slashing violently, which was fended off by the enemy before it.
The Arrancar. It turned out that this short shinigami who became his opponent was brave as well. It was unexpected that he would attack directly. It must be admitted, Hitsugaya sword technique is very good. His zanpakutou hits were strong without a doubt. It could be felt now, within this close distance, that the white hair reiatsu rose one level, intimidating him. The temperature around them dropped a few degrees lower.
'Damn, ' whispered the Arrancar in his heart. 'Then I have to…'
"I won't let you take off your ressureccion" said Hitsugaya sharply, as if reading his mind. He knocked out his zanpakutou, forcing the Arrancar to land on the frozen surface of the Forest.
"You think you can beat me, boy? Think again, you…"
The Arrancar. He looked at the little commander who was standing in the air, and then he looked down. It stands at the center of an alien symbol; a pentagon formed from five snow-crystal points. Entrapment.
"What is this?!"
"You were too busy giving me an attack from the start," Toushiro said calmly. "You don't think I'm moving around avoiding you while preparing that trap, do you? Unfortunately, I didn't think I'd beat you. I did beat you. Rokui Hyoketsujin."
Instantly an ice line connected the five corners of the snow crystal. And a split second later, an ice pillar formed, soaring into space, shutting the Arrancar inside.
For a while, anyone thought that victory was in the hands of the 10th Division Commander. But as it turns out, Toushiro Hitsugaya realizes, this fight is too easy to win.
"Hard-headed," he sighed softly.
A huge crack appeared on that ice pillar. The Arrancar was free, laughing crazily with the soaring zanpakutou; its wind power split the ice that locked him away.
"You're naive, Shinigami!" exclaimed the Arrancar, his eyes glistening wildly. "Have I told you not to underestimate me?! Well, you better remember that now, little one!"
"Troubt," grumbled Toushiro. He prepared, picked up Hyourinmaru and concentrated. The ice daggers were formed from the water and snow nearby. And then, Toushiro made a sweeping motion, firing those ice blades towards the enemy while exclaiming, "Guncho Tsurara!"
Immediately the Arrancar made a similar slashing motion, smashing the ice intended for him into small fragments.
"Just be free, little! My wind will cut through all your ice techniques!" the Arrancar grinned. "You don't want me to take off my ressureccion? It's okay, I'll get it, because I can kill you without taking it off! Ahaha!"
"It turns out you're naive, Arrancar," said Toushiro calmly.
"Hm?" For a moment, his attention was distracted.
"It turns out, even though you know my name and my abilities, you don't understand it as well as you should." Toushiro pointed Hyourinmaru at his enemy. "But, Arrancar, since you know me, I want to ask you your name."
"Well, it turns out that shinigami like you have a karmic system, too" the Arrancar sneered. "But before you die, I don't think there's any harm in telling you my name. I'm Diego del Viendo "
"alright. I think you already know who I am, but let me introduce myself." Toushiro was a little amused at the sound of his own voice imposing that false modesty. "I'm the Commander of the 10th Division of Soul Society, Toushiro Hitsugaya…"
"Huh, I already know that, Shinigami," said Viendo sangar.
"Of course." Toushiro sighed. "I hope you know my abilities, too. My hyourinmaru is the strongest zanpakutou type hyousetsu of the Soul Society. And you see, all around us is snow…"
The Arrancar's eyes widened.
"Snow means water. Right now, I am in the middle of my element. You have no chance of beating me."
"Sorry," Toushiro said without regret, without emotion. "My element is not just ice, snow, or ice. All the weather elements within my range of reiatsu, are within my power, including the wind that powers you. Before you die, you can tell me why you joined the witch, why did you come to this place, and," Toushiro frowned, "what is your real purpose?"
Viendo nailed his zanpakutou again, but nothing happened. He stared at the blade of his sword in disbelief. He made a fatal mistake; he had underestimated the young commander. He looked at Toushiro Hitsugaya in disbelief, feeling a great reiatsu whack around him, riled at his question without an answer. The bone-freezing Reiatsu expanded, sourced from a small figure that became his enemy. He was forced to fall by it.
The water and snow particles formed a gigantic sword blade, made of ice. His sharp end was pointed straight at him, who was fixated on the spot, realizing his defeat. "Shinku no Kori no Yaiba" said Toushiro. With a terrible whirring sound, the giant ice sword shot out, hitting the body of the Arrancar accompanied by a loud crackling and pounding.
Toushiro stared at the frozen particles of dust and steam that covered his gaze at his doomed enemy. Looking at the Arrancar lying on the ground, his body was almost crushed under the rain of the huge ice sword. However, he was quite surprised to see the grin of the Arrancar. He pointed at Toushiro with his trembling and bloodied finger.
"I will not die alone…"
"What?"
Toushiro. He felt a sudden heat running all over his body. He stared at the toreh wound on his arm, then at the dying Arrancar.
"That wind." whispered Toushiro, falling to his knees on the ground; his wound splashed blood on the ground of the Forbidden Forest.
"Yes." There was a laugh behind Viendo's voice. "My zanpakutou not only sends power.. cleaves with the wind.. I can shoot poison with him. Deadly poison, attacks your nervous system, disrupts your brain… making you unaware of it as long as you attacked me earlier." the enemy grinned triumphantly, seeing Toushiro Hitsugaya gasping for breath, a sign that his lungs were not functioning normally. "And when you realize it, right now, you don't have much time…"
'Damn, ' Toushiro cursed in his heart. He felt a rust of blood in his mouth, also in his nose, there were broken blood vessels in his airway. His head was now pulsing painfully. He saw with a blurry vision that Viendo was not moving anymore. Die. 'I was really careless.' Toushiro grabbed the front of his shihakusou, feeling his heart pounding, abnormally, making his entire body feel like it was burning. His breathing feels so tight now. Hyourinmaru, hoping the cold will help.
However, he could not feel anything with his senses. The surrounding temperature slowly rises, leading to normal winter temperatures as the frozen ruler shinigami loses control. The body of the Arrancar had melted into silvery particles, leaving its enemies dead.
Toushiro fell, hit the ground. The smell of the soil mixed with the decaying leaves in its winter freeze was faint on its nose. White fog filled his field of vision. And then the pain overwhelms him while paralyzing him. He can't even think. There was nothing he could do, just close his eyes and feel himself falling into a deep abyss.
Harry Potter is dreaming. The strangest dream he ever had. His body felt slippery, strong, and supple. He was gliding between metal bars, along the dark and cold stone floor. He felt moving by creeping in the dark corridor. He saw a human figure, sitting on the floor of this supposedly deserted corridor.
Harry poked out his forked tongue. The man was alive, sleepy. He was overcome by the urge to bite the man, but he had to endure it. Yes, there was no need…
But the guy's moving. His silvery Invisibility Cloak fell to the floor as the person stood up excitedly. His wand was removed from his belt.Fuck it, he had no choice… It was enough to immerse his fangs as deeply as possible, crashing the person's ribs, spitting warm blood from the wounds from his bite…
The man screamed in pain, and his body fell to the floor and did not move. Blood splattered on the floor…
His forehead was in excruciating pain.It was as if his head would break at any moment…
"Harri! HARRY!"
He opened his eyes, the colors felt too bright for him. Harry realized his body was flooded with cold sweat. His body also trembled violently, and he felt as if embers were affixed to his forehead.
"Harry!"
Ron stood in front of him. He looked pale and frightened. Other figures moved at the foot of Harry's bed, which clutched his head. Harry rolled over on his bed, throwing up on the edge of his bed.
The voices around him panicked. They spoke, but Harry could not understand. He suppressed the urge to vomit again. He had to tell this…
"R-Ron," he panted, trying to breathe air, "Your father…"
"What?" ron was confused.
"Your father! He was attacked – bitten! The wound is serious. It bleeds a lot…"
Ron must understand. but he himself did not understand. Harry tried to catch his breath. And then, he heard McGonagall's voice.
"What's up, Potter? You sick?"
Never before had Harry been this happy to find his presence; it was the members of the Order of the Phoenix that he needed right now. He immediately explained to McGonagall what he saw in his vision. That Mr. Weasley was attacked by a huge snake, somewhere, and was seriously injured.
"I'm not lying and I'm not crazy!" harry exclaimed, looking at McGonagall's horrified gaze. "Truely I saw it happen!"
"I believe you, Potter," said McGonagall briefly. "Wear your sleeping coat – we meet the Principal. You're coming, too, Weasley."
Soon Harry put on his bedroom coat and put glasses on his nose. He and Ron followed Professor McGonagall out of the Gryffindor Tower. Harry's mind was ringing. He was anxious, panicked, confused, and terrified beyond measure.
"Where are Mr Kurosaki and Mr Hitsugaya?" ask McGonagall restless.
"We-we don't know," said Ron weakly. "T-Toushiro.he had not returned to the dorm since nine o'clock…"
Harry could see McGonagall's tense expression. However, just then they arrived in front of the stone gargoyle guarding the entrance of the Headmaster's office.
"The beetle is rustling" said McGonagall.
The gargoyle jumped to the side to make way for them. The three stood on the spiral escalator staircase, which moved to bring them to the front of the twisted oak door with a griffin-shaped knocker. McGonagall knocked three times, and the voices in Dumbledore's office came to a standstill; previously Harry believed at least Dumbledore was hosting a dozen guests when heard from his voice.
The Transfiguration Master led Harry and Ron through a door that opened automatically. Dumbledore's office was half dark, and there was no movement whatsoever, either from the odd silver utensils on the display table or the paintings of the principals behind Dumbledore's desk. Even Fawkes was sleeping on his perch made of gold beside the door.
Dumbledore sat in a high-backed chair behind his desk. He looked awake with his sparkling blue eyes. Soon McGonagall told me the reason they came to her office. This was continued by Harry, who recounted his dream – vision – on Dumbledore. He was a bit upset that Dumbleore had not looked at him as long as he had told him that. But he was also surprised when the Headmaster asked the point of view he saw the incident, which he honestly said if he saw from the point of view of the snake.
Dumbledore then summoned two former Principals, Everard and Dilys, using the magic of painting magic that could move around in their paintings anywhere, considering that the two principals had a good reputation, making their paintings installed in almost all magic institutions. Both paintings will be 'spies' for them, find out what happened to Arthur Weasley.
While waiting, McGonagall bewitched two extra seats to Harry and Ron. Just as they were sitting, Dumbledore's office door opened so suddenly that McGonagall jumped out of her seat.
Hagrid's large figure entered in a hurry. Her berewok face looked panicked and frightened; her mole rat skin coat was plastered with snow. At first glance, he looked in wonder at Harry and Ron, before staring at Dumbledore.
"Hagrid? What's up?" ask McGonagall.
"School Head. Professor McGonagall. Harry clasped the arm of his chair; ron's face was pale. "I found him in the Forest…"
"What?" peeking McGonagall shocked. "What's going on?!"
"I don't know," said Hagrid, sounding in alarm. "Firenze the centaur came to me, he found the boy. And then Mr. Kurosaki came, he took him to the hospital, I think you should know…"
Dumbledore sighed. There was anxiety in his blue eyes.
"And the Headmaster, I don't understand. The boy was carrying a weapon," Harry and Ron exchanged shocked looks. "Ice is everywhere…"
"I've told you who he really is, Hagrid. I think he's doing his job and getting hurt. I'll go to the hospital after my business with Harry is done…"
"Professor.." interrupted Harry, but Dumbledore raised his hand, stopping his interuption.
"… Please call Professor Urahara for him, but maybe he already knows. Just make sure it's Hagrid. And please, don't let you see Dolores Umbridge. If you meet him, don't say anything about what you saw with Mr. Hitsugaya."
"Well, Principal."
And Hagrid left. His scarred face looked puzzled as he closed the office door and disappeared behind it.
"Albus," said McGonagall beginning, her face pale and tense.
Harry's confusion and panic is growing now. First Mr. Weasley, now Toushiro.
What the hell is going on?
