Harry is so grateful that the weekend has come. For him, the first week at his Hogwarts this time was the worst week ever, for now. He was happy his detentions with Umbridge were over, and Ron managed to pass the Keeper Gryffindor – selection that he regretted he could not attend. So, when he woke up on a sunny Saturday, he immediately got up and started changing clothes. At first he was almost sure only he had just come out of the dream realm, judging by the silence that existed other than the birdsong in the distance and the breaths slowly and in his friends. But he sees that Tousiro and Ichigo's bed nets are open, neat, and empty. He just knew his two new friends were the type to wake up early on a holiday.
Harry opened his school bag carefully and pulled the parchment, quill pen, and ink bottle from there. Then, he opened the room door slowly and descended into the recreation room, and immediately sat down on his favorite padded armchair by the fireplace, beginning to string the words to the letter to Sirius.
Ichigo and Toushiro are in the workspace of Kisuke Urahara, who is behind the class of Japanese Classical Defense Methods. The former 12th Division Commander made a portable basement under his office, creating a decorated and expanded landing field similar to the basement of his shop in Karakura.
"It can be used for you to practice!" he said he defended himself as Ichigo clucked impatiently to see Urahara flaunting the room. "Just like in Karakura, I also made this place impermeable to reiatsu, so even if you two use a bankai, no one in this castle feels much less affected by your reiatsu! Nice, eh?"
No need for recognition, anyway grin on the face of Urahara it will remain unseeded. After all, the kind-hearted scientist also wants to make this training room. Ichigo realizes that Toushiro doesn't mind.
"Well," Yoruichi appeared behind them in his human form, and luckily – Ichigo was happy to see him so – he wore clothes. "how about we try training here, uh, Ichigo?"
So Ichigo and Yoruichi are the first to use the training room for strength training. Yoruichi trained Ichigo to mature his hand-to-hand combat technique, so he needed to get out of the gigai. Toushiro and Urahara watched on the edge of the arena; Urahara casually dragged Ichigo's gigai at his feet and Ichigo's face smelled the ground.
"How was your first week here?" urahara asked, sitting cross-legged while flapping leisurely.
"Lumayan," said Toushiro, sitting leaning against one of the limestone. "I'm not going to count Umbridge's lessons well. I'd rather face Matsumoto sober than his garbage lesson."
"Pronounced by you, it makes everything clear" Urahara commented, hiding his widely smiling face. Toushiro did not seem upset, but his words showed that he did not like Umbridge. "Let's see when he met me at the teacher's office…"
"Why?" Toushiro looked at him sharply. "He suspects you?"
"Haha!" urahara laughs cheerfully. "of course! He's trying to pry info about me, about Shinou, about our magic. But nothing got it." Urahara took out a stone as big as a marble. "If you compare the information about Soul Society with this training room, all he knows is this stone."
"Stay alert, Urahara," Toushiro said seriously. "He won't give up until he gets what he wants."
"I know, I know," said Urahara lightly. "By the way you're not training? It's been a few weeks since you guys were in England and didn't let go of your reiatsu."
Toushiro looked at Urahara. That strange smile means something. Plus, he tapped his wooden stick onto the rocky surface. Well, there's no harm in trying out an ability with a former commander.
That weekend was capped with hard work for OWL and NEWT students to work on the PR-PR that piled up during the first week of the new school year. Harry and Ron were quite overwhelmed by the sheer number of tasks they were doing, occasionally looking lustfully at Hermione's bag containing all of her PR that had been completed. But where can, with the cat Crookshanks who guard his master's bag with fierce glaring eyes. Harry is also astonished how Ichigo and Tousiro have finished all their PR, and are now playing – magic chess just then the white minister Toushiro slaughtered Ichigo's black horse. Both of them seemed calm to face the first week of their Wizarding World.
Harry really hopes the second week will not be as bad as the previous one. Sirius Black, who appeared at Gryffindor's hearth at midnight in response to Harry's letter, raised his spirits slightly. Unfortunately, that's a hope that doesn't come true
Their second week opened with shocking news in light of Dolores Umbridge's presence at Hogwarts, which appeared on the Daily Prophet's main front page on a clear Monday: the :
THE MINISTRY SEEKS TO IMPROVE THE EDUCATION SYSTEM
DOLORES UMBRIDGE WAS APPOINTED AS THE FIRST GRAND INQUISITOR
"Dumbridge? Grand Inquisitor? What the hell is that?" ichigo stared at the newspaper Toushiro was holding.
The turquoise's eyes read quickly on the front page, so Ichigo was almost sure for a moment that the eyes blurred so quickly Toushiro read. Ichigo waited for an answer and turned to the Golden Trio who also read the newspaper, discussing the main page with a riled expression about five meters from the two shinigami.
"The Ministry's move to ensure Hogwarts is in its custody" Toushiro said. "They made sure, especially the teachers, did not take Dumbledore's side. Inquisitors have the right to fire teachers who are considered incompetent, apparently."
"Objective assessment, eh? Like him then," Ichigo commented, biting the sandwich furiously. Ichigo lowered his voice. "Do you think Urahara will be in trouble?"
"I'm almost sure so," said Toushiro, closing his newspaper and pulling the teacup towards him. "But there's no need to worry about him, he knows what to do."
"I hope so," Ichigo said sarcastically. "I wonder what a grand inquisitor would act like, who knows he's in Binns class."
But Umbridge wasn't in History class, which was as boring as last week. He wasn't in Potions class after that either, which Snape was still the only teacher in the basement class, making Neville, again, the, receiving Toushiro's help to keep his quality from exploding.
"It's okay, Longbottom," said Toushiro flatly, though Ichigo could see he was a bit annoyed by getting tired of accepting sorry so many times. "Stop apologizing, it's no big deal." Toushiro pulled out his magic wand and muttered a spell, drying his robe. "seen? It's done."
"Ma-Oh, well," Neville said, bowing as Toushiro stopped Neville's 17th apology with a deathglare that could punch a hole in a spoon. Neville follows Toushiro and Ichigo, who are shaken withholding laughter, sitting at Gryffindor's table for lunch.
"Don't take Toushiro's fierce heart" Ichigo said to Neville as he picked up the roasted ribs. "He was fierce to almost everyone. But he was really good. Just this, nih," Ichigo pointed at Toushiro's eyes with a fork, making the white-haired brunette shake Ichigo's hand ferociously. "Sori" Ichigo said hurriedly. "His nature is cold."
"Bi-can I see," Neville murmured softly. Toushiro tried hard not to roll his eyes. The next tone, as Neville spoke it sounded as if he was embarrassed. "But I'm really grateful. Before nothing helped me.. Like this. sometimes Hermione…"
Ichigo was stopped from his bribing movements; toushiro looked straight at Neville, who was avoiding him.
"Nobody helped you?" ask Ichigo astonished. "You have one hostel as your friend! And it looks like you're close to Dean and Seamus. What about Harry?"
"I'm not that close" Neville said softly. "Sometimes I think I'm just being a bully, I'm a gag, you know."
"That's no excuse" said Toushiro, frowning.
Neville stirred his paste grimly. "You know how else, it is. I'm not as famous as Harry. or as smart as Hermione. But it seems they have a different world to me…"
Ichigo and Toushiro exchanged looks. Listening to the curses of classmates they've only known for a week at Hogwarts is new to them.
If only you knew, Neville, the two people listening to your story are also from a different 'world' to you.
"Well," said Ichigo starting out, putting down his fork, to look at Neville, "I'm telling you, Neville, that friendship doesn't need to be conditional."
Neville looked up, looking at Ichigo in surprise. He found that hazel eyes confirmed his statement earlier. Toushiro who was beside him nodded once, agreeing.
"No need to be famous, smart, rich, have a look. You deserve to have friends, anyone, anywhere, from anywhere."
"But…"
"This is easy." Ichigo sat upright on his stool, facing Neville, then bowed briefly, "We repeat our introduction; watashi wa Ichigo Kurosaki, yoroshiku desu."
Neville stuttered in shock, while Toushiro raised next to his eyebrows. But, Toushiro also looked at Neville, looking official, "Toushiro Hitsugaya, yoroshiku."
"What-what-what-?"
"Repeating introductions," Ichigo said, grinning happily. "We're friends now, eh?"
"But you guys"
Ichigo waved his hand lazily. Toushiro shrugged his shoulders. The two returned to their lunch. Neville looked at Ichigo and Toushiro in astonishment. Never had he felt this light before.
At Slytherin's table, Draco Malfoy stared at Neville with dangerous narrowed eyes. Harry Potter and his two friends are favorite objects to denigrate. However, Neville Longbottom was another matter. The Gryffindor members are the easiest to work with. Too plain. Shy-tempered. Sloppy. Not having the pride that was worthy of being a Pure Blood. It is fitting that he is rarely seen with close friends, even one. And now, those two new children from Shinou are even friends with him!
Draco had already heard the reputation of the two transfer students from his father, thanks to the Ministry of Magic. He is informed that Ichigo Kurosaki is pure-blooded, something Malfoy would appreciate, of course. Quite gifted with the magic taught in Shinou, it was also the blood status capital that made him make it to this Hogwarts. Too bad he's in Gryffindor. As for little Hitsugaya, he only found out that he was just a lowly orphan witch who lived with his uncle who was a Ministry official in their place of origin, just Harry Potter. The difference is, Hitsugaya had a brilliant brain that made him one of the chosen to be transferred to Hogwarts. Her father said the white hair had an unusually good academic record. No wonder he managed to absorb the magic of Hogwarts, seen from the many teachers who praised his work. Draco remembers how he shared the compartment with the two new children, and now he somewhat regrets it, as both were Gryffindors. And befriend the Longbottom! Now what? Teach them a lesson? Yeah... that's a great idea... But who got bullied? Kurosaki's?
Draco watches for a moment the orange hair. He was even taller than her, muscular as masculine as a professional Quidditch athlete rather than a gorilla muscle like Crabbe and Goyle. Wasn't Kurosaki already performing well during Urahara's self-defense lessons last week? Obviously he is not a person who can be played with easily.
Hitsugaya's?
Draco looked at the little guy who was reading Numerology and Grammar with his eyebrows linked. Mud Blood like Granger, suitable for bullying. A thin grin floated on Draco Malfoy's face, finding a good reason. In addition, he was fed up with Toushiro Hitsugaya who captured the attention of many people, both teachers who liked his brilliance, as well as the girls who considered him prince charming with his cold and cute attitude! There is only one person who can use 'cold' as a mask and strength. And that's not Gryffindor's white hair.
