Bettor Mr. Nobles

Bettor Mr. Nobles
Chapter 15

Abellard entered his room. Open the closet and make some money. During these five months he often joined Marc looking for mushrooms for sale. He is not the type of person who likes to save. Money is spent, that is the motto of his life. But the girl he loved always encouraged himself to set aside some for the stash. Naeva even nagged her if she couldn't downsize.

The deposit money will be used to buy a ring for Naeva. Apply for it and ask the girl's true feelings. Naeva has never expressed her love to this day.

"Marc, I'll be wearing a horse for a while!" the thrill of meeting Marc at the stables.

"You're going home to Marseille now?"

"No, I'll go to the market to buy something" Abellard replied with a face.

"All right, I'll put up the train for a second."

"No need, I'll just put on the horse, '" Abellard refused as she rubbed the gentle horse's mane.

Naeva looked at the man from the window of her castle. It looks like Abellard is very happy to be back in Marseille and know they are not brothers. Because Abellard doesn't know, once she gets back they'll be separated forever.

There was no way the great Abellard family would accept her being just a girl of poor noble descent as a daughter-in-law.

In the hall, about five messengers were sitting waiting, while the soldiers were on standby outside.

"They are very handsome and magnificent, M'mselle," whispered Anne who stood nearby as she continued to tidy her hair and looked down timidly.

Naeva let out a heavy sigh and turned to look at Anne.

"You're also very beautiful, Anne ..." she said.

Anne's cheeks were red.

"But I wouldn't deserve to be liked by people like them" said Anne.

Naeva's heart felt pinched hearing it. What Anne said was the same as she is now. He doesn't deserve to be with Abellard.

"If it's not appropriate, but we should respect ourselves," he comforted, more to himself.

Abellard spurred her horse vigorously. Like just finding a wide open road, and he did not want to waste that road.

A jewelry and bead shop belonging to an old gypsy-looking woman, has been a concern for Abellard all along. The jewelry there is very colorful, suitable if used as a gift for a helper and colorful women like Naeva. And now, it's time to go in there to find the most beautiful ring.

"Bonjour, ma'am," said Abellard.

The gypsy-looking old lady smiled amiably.

"Bonjour, Monsieur. I've guessed, one day you'll visit my shop."

Abellard returned the smile, no longer wondering why the woman could have expected her arrival, because Naeva once said that gypsy women do like to predict the future and fate of someone.

"Yes, eventually a miracle brought me to this store" Abellard replied.

"What are you looking for, Monsieur?"

"The most beautiful ring." Abellard's dark blue eyes circled around her. There are four shelves on the wall. It's all full of women's jewelry.

"Only the most beautiful one, Monsieur. And it looks like this ring is waiting for you."

The gypsy walked onto a shelf. And Abellard followed him.

The woman's wrinkled hands grabbed a small box of white satin cloth. In the middle of the cloth is placed a beautiful ring shape daisies, with a position that is very interesting.

The ring is so sweet.

"Oh..." Unknowingly Abellard sighed in amazement.

"How can you forge a ring this beautiful, ma'am?"

"I didn't forge it myself, Monsieur. Of course I can't stand it, even though this ring was made two years ago. I'm just sketching the design."

"Why is a ring this good no one has bought yet? Though its beauty is beyond other jewels."

Abellard's index finger touched the daisies that looked so original it was very carefully, as if the petals would easily fall off.

"That's what I mean, Monsieur. The ring awaits you."

Abellard was stunned for a moment to discover the miraculous reality.

"How much?" ask the man later.

"Give me how much you intend. Because whatever price I give, this ring will belong to its master."

Abellard reached into the pocket of the blazer, and gave up all the money.

"Don't give it to me everything, Monsieur. Bring some for your lunch to stop by the booth before you go home."

The woman returned the money she received to the young man who was still enchanted by the ring in her hand.

"Do you know, ma'am? The woman who will wear this ring is very fond of daisies."

"Destiny never misses, Monsieur. You have to be sure of that. If you consider the girl your destiny, then you must set your heart."

"Yes Ma'am, I will remember. Thank you for your generosity" Abellard said as she stepped towards the door.

"One more thing, Monsieur!"

Abellard looked back with a questioning look.

"Don't forget to stop by the booth before you go home."

Although confused by the message repeated by the woman, Abellard agreed with a nod of her head.

His footsteps walked towards the drink booth. While his horse he let it moored next to the shop of the gypsy woman.

After ordering a drink, Abellard chose a seat in the right corner of the booth. Without taking off his hat the man looked down to look back at the ring on his lap with smiling lips. Shown already in his eyes, how beautiful Naeva's ring finger when wearing the ring.

A moment later, the sound of shoes of several people entered the booth simultaneously. So jerking and fierce.

Abellard has no interest in seeing who's coming. His eyes were still lured to the round-shaped thing in his hand.

"We're really captivated! It turned out that Count Abellard had been living in that old castle all along! If only I hadn't been daunted by the charge of that smart-looking noble girl, we would have found her!"

At once, Abellard sat upright and alert, while her head remained he bowed with a pulled cowboy hat covering part of her face.

It must be a group of assassins still eyeing his life.

"I'm sure the girl who helped him became a very important person to him. We can't touch Count Abellard in his guard. But ..."

The person's words hung for a moment, making Abellard feel her body cold hot. The dangerous people are talking about the girl they love.

"We can kidnap the girl to get Abellard. Then we'll eliminate both!"

Abellard's heart stopped beating. Imagine Naeva being hurt, and it's because of her.

With movements made as calm as possible so as not to attract attention, Abellard got up from her seat. Then step out among other customers who also intend to leave the store.

Moments later, the man had driven his horse as fast as he could towards the way home.

He had to take Naeva with him to Marseille. Got to!
