Chapter 31
"Find the culprit until you get it!" Abellard clenched both hands and ran back towards the South Tower. He will apologize to the girl he loves with regret.
However, his intention was immediately restrained when he saw Alfred was there. The man sat with Naeva who was not moving at all from Marc's side.
It should be like that. Accompanying Naeva at times like these.
"I'll accompany Naeva here. You no longer need to ask the servant to accompany him, Monsieur Comte. I'll serve him." Alfred glanced at Naeva as he said that.
Abellard glared in annoyance. But he could not show his jealousy again and make Naeva more disappointed.
He saw the back of Naeva who was still sitting back. Perhaps now Naeva has been lazy to deal with men as possessive as her.
"Alright, I'll be here too" he said as he walked towards the window.
"The countess will probably find you, Monsieur Count." Alfred smiled mockingly.
The Count did not answer. He will try to be patient to keep Naeva feeling.
However, as if things were not on his side at all, suddenly a servant came, and relayed the call of the Countess.
Abellard clutched the edge of the window as she looked at the triumphant smile on Alfred's lips. He approached the girl before coming out. Indeed, she hoped that Naeva would look at her, forgive her and understand her jealousy.
But his hope did not materialize. Naeva did not look at him at all.
"I'll be down for a minute. Rest, Marc will be fine." He looked at Naeva's pretty face from the side with a raging feeling. Had Naeva glanced at her just a little, it might have reduced the guilt in her heart.
Abellard finally took a heavy step leaving the room.
Alfred accompanied Abellard's footsteps with a triumphant gaze. There was an increasingly challenging sense of getting Naeva in her heart, having seen the love of the Count.
"Monsieur Lord Alfred ..." call Naeva.
Alfred. "Ah, you called me again with that strange call." The man pretended to sulk with a disappointed look.
Naeva sighed, feeling annoyed by Alfred's attitude that continued to familiarize himself. "Sorry ... Alfred," error.
Alfred smiled happily.
"Yes? You need my help?" The clean-faced man put on an attentive look.
"You better rest in your room. I can take care of Marc myself" Naeva's voice sounded flat.
Alfred frowning. "You mean, I should leave you alone with him?" show it to Marc.
Naeva looked at her with dislike. He was tired of hearing people doubting his friendship with Marc.
"Why indeed? Are you going to think badly of me? I am currently taking care of my own dying brother. Is that a bad thing?"
Alfred was stunned to see Naeva's reaction. But then he smiled and put on a face of understanding.
"No, of course that's not what I meant. I'm just worried if you're just looking after him yourself, considering that someone just wanted to poison you. This castle is very dangerous. Unlike my palace, we won't do this senista thing." The man then got up from his chair. "But you don't have to be afraid. I'll take care of you from the bottom room."
Naeva just nodded. Right now he just wants to be alone. His heart was still disappointed in Abellard.
Looked at Marc who no longer messed up. It might have been better if they had returned to Wisteria Castle.

Tomorrow morning.
Naeva got down and headed to the kitchen. He'll make some hot soup for Marc. No longer would someone deliver food and poison them a second time.
He did not want to be bad to think, but seeing the rejection and cynical attitude of the inhabitants of this castle, they might try again.
Naeva stood in the doorway of the spacious kitchen for a moment. Find the kitchen materials she needs. Then start moving to cook. Some servants noticed her, but it did not make Naeva's intention recede.
He began to peel the potatoes painstakingly. It's a good thing she never sat on her hands when Emma cooked in the kitchen. Now he can be independent when urgent circumstances like this.
Bruk!
Someone bumped and spilled flour on his shirt.
"Aw!" exclaim Naeva shocked.
"Oh, sorry!" said the waiter who crashed without guilt.
Naeva stared at her brown dress now covered in flour from chest to toe. Meanwhile, he heard whispers from the other servants and also the sound of their giggling laughter laughing at him.
"That will be a lesson for him because it has put us in a difficult situation. He could come and accuse one of us of spaying poison in the food."
"really. Though before there had never been a problem like this," said another.
Naeva gulped her saliva. It seems like all the servants hate him even more.
"Here, take it to help clear the flour in your dress." A servant girl approached him and gave him a handkerchief with a look of pity.
The young girl smiled. "Take it all right" he said sincerely. No matter the protesting gaze of his professional friend.
"Thank you." Naeva received the white handkerchief. And clean the dress.
Finished making the soup, he immediately brought the results of his cooking to his room. I hope Marc wakes up and eats the soup. Marc has to recover quickly so they can come back soon.
Since last night he thought about it, and now Naeva has decided to return to Wisteria Castle.
Not that he didn't want to fight for his love for Abellard. He just couldn't sacrifice Marc for his love.
The girl stood for a moment in front of the door. A glimpse of Abellard's attitude yesterday came back. He breathed heavily. Abellard's attitude has changed. The man curbed himself doing this and that. Always jealous blind. He himself received a match from his mother. And yesterday even Abellard sat side by side and talked to his future wife.
Slowly Naeva opened the door.
Marc was sitting on his bed. The man looked so weak.
Naeva immediately smiled and approached with a tray containing a bowl of warm soup and two pieces of bread in her hand.
"Good morning, Marc. Thank goodness you woke up. I'm so afraid you won't open your eyes." The girl sat by the bed and placed a tray of soup on her lap.
Marc returned that smile as cheerfully as possible. He did not want to make his lady worried even though the caring attitude of the girl really made him happy.
"I'm fine, M'mselle. And I'll be cured soon."
Naeva smiled with relief. "I made soup for you" he said.
Marc's gray eyes seemed to grow bigger hearing him. Miss is cooking specifically for him? The man immediately smiled widely. Marc felt this moment was really happy. And he could not hide that happiness.
"You like it?" naeva asked attentively.
Marc nodded deeply. "Yes, I do want to eat soup" he replied.
Naeva smiled again. And then I'll feed a spoonful of soup to Marc.
Marc sipped the soup as if enjoying heavenly food. Too delicious because the lady who cooks and feeds.
"It's delicious" he said.
"But not as good as the usual Emma cuisine we eat," said Naeva Nelangsa. "I miss him."
Marc took a sip of his saliva hearing the voice of Naeva. He also longed for their family and togetherness in Wisteria Castle. But he must be strong, for the safety of the Miss.
"Marc .. Once you're healed, we'll go home."
The man looked at his lady worriedly. What made Miss Naeva take her home? Could it be that the treatment of the inhabitants of this castle had made him unable to bear it? But as far as Marc knew her, the miss would not be daunted and slumped just because of the mistreatment of others.

Abellard extended her legs toward the twin girls enjoying fruit in the sitting room with Lady Angelia and Lord Alfred.
"Lucie, tell me now, why is there poison in the food you brought Mlle Gaulle?!" ask the man in a sharp tone.
Lucie looked aghast at the sharp question all of a sudden. He thought he would escape, after interrogation was only done against the servants.
"I don't know, my cousin. I just deliver and don't cook it. It's definitely the waiters who were on duty in the kitchen did it!" lucie panicked. His big eyes looked teary. He never had anything bad like this. He felt that all this mess was coming because of that arrogant Mlle Gaulle!
"Alright, then now I'll ask you why you delivered the food!"
Lucie turned to Lady Angelia.
"I was asked by Lady Angelia."
Abellard's gaze immediately turned to the Lady, as well as the others.
"you? What's for?" Abellard looked at him suspiciously.
Lady Angelia looked so calm. It was as if he had nothing to do with the matter. The beautiful girl with the face of a fairy answered with a concerned look.
"I'm asking you to comfort Mlle Gaulle because it looks like she's out of favor in this castle. It was no surprise that one of the servants poisoned him. But I don't agree with that way. It was very cruel" he said without burden.
