Bettor Mr. Nobles

Bettor Mr. Nobles
Chapter 25

"Now you have to pack your things and get out of here!" sniff the woman.

His nose was slightly round, while his thin lips seemed to be curving downwards showing an angry look. But what attracted attention was a tompel the size of a thumb on his left cheek.

Pork!

The sound of falling objects was heard from behind Naeva. The girl immediately turned around, and saw another woman fall down with a large suitcase.

Naeva reflexively approached and helped her stand up. But as soon as the fallen woman raised her face, Naeva suddenly jumped in shock.

His face was exactly the same as the lady judes who had just barged into his room. His nose, his lips, even his tompel.

With a pias face Naeva turned her face back on the woman who judges.

Exact same!

"Thank you" said the fallen woman, softly.

"Stupid! You broke my suitcase Lucie!"

"Ma-sorry ..." the woman called Lucie immediately took back the suitcase that was lying on the floor.

"You guys .. you're so similar" muttered Naeva in amazement.

"really?" lucie asked in disbelief, but her big eyes seemed to sparkle.

"They're identical twins," the newly-emerged Maria interrupted.

"Oh," Naeva. Just this time he saw a twin who had the exact same face.

"We don't look alike! Absolutely not!" refute Lucie's twin with an annoyed look. It was as if the reality of their similar faces was a disgrace to him. His eyes were as big as Lucie's and then turned to Maria.

"Mary! What right do you have to have someone else sleep in my room? I was gone two months. You want to give my room to a stranger?!"

"I'm sorry Mlle Louise, Mlle Gaulle is Monsieur Comte's guest" Maria replied as she lowered her head.

"He was the guest of the Count, and I was his cousin! Who has the right?!"

Maria seemed to be breathing heavily.

"Of course you are, M'mselle."

"Good! Then, clean up my room right now!" louise orders with her chin raised.

Naeva looked at the two women in turn. They were twins, but it seemed like their characters were not the same at all. Lucie looks soft, and insecure, while Louise judges and is haughty.

And if you pay attention, their faces also have a difference, namely the tompel. Tompel Lucie on the right cheek, while Louise on the left cheek.

Naeva subconsciously held back her smile.

"You're laughing at my face?!" fierce Louise with bulging eyes.

"No, I don't mean to laugh" Naeva replied.

"What lounge? You mean to insult?!"

"Sorry Mlle Louise, are there any of your items outside that should be included?" Maria immediately switched the conversation.

"No! I'm not the kind of person who carries a lot of stuff like Lucie. My aunt owns all kinds of factories, I can have new stuff all I want! Clean up my room immediately!"

Maria picked up Lucie's suitcase and placed it next to the closet.

"Hey, Maria! Don't you get it? My room! Why is there someone else here?!" snapped Louise again.

"Well M'mselle, I'll take Mlle Gaulle's belongings first" Maria replied.

Feeling insinuated, Naeva immediately turned around and stepped out. And Lucie too.

"Do Louise and I look alike?" lucie whispered after they were outside.

"Yes, of course it's very similar because you're identical twins." Naeva looked at the girl in wonder. Why did the resemblance to its own twin become such a joy to Lucie?

"Everyone says our faces are the same, but Louise always says I'm ugly and doesn't look like her at all" she said, holding up her own suitcase. "It's nice to meet you Mlle Gaulle" said the girl, before leaving Naeva with a face.

Naeva waited for Maria to come out to ask her where she should sleep now.

The woman then appeared with an unpleasant look.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience, Mlle Gaulle. I will take you to another room. There are still 70 empty rooms that are not occupied, you can choose which one."

Naeva's mouth opened wide at the number of rooms Maria said.

"70 rooms?"

"Yes, the rooms were reserved for the special guests of the Countess when holding major events. While the remaining 50 were already occupied by the Countess' own family and the workers here."

"Oh, so ..." Naeva recalled that Wisteria Castle had only 10 rooms, and she always felt that her castle was too much empty space that only required energy to be cleaned.

"Wait!" a voice stopped their steps.

The two turned around and looked at the Countess who was standing in a haughty manner, and rained down on Naeva with a hostile look.

"Mlle Gaulle will sleep in the South tower keep!" 'Keep' is the name for a room in a tower. It used to be a noble nuclear family room, in order to be protected from enemies. But now the towers are only a complement to the castle.

Maria straightened her eyes. The rooms are usually occupied only by male workers. In fact, often no one wants to live because of the conditions in the tower are moist and dark. Each room has only one small window.

"But, Ma'am ... there are still many rooms down below," Mary's protest could not bear.

"The rooms will be occupied by my guests when Abellard is married."

Naeva's heart felt like it could hear her. Be married?

"I also don't want Mlle Gaulle to pass by in this castle and tease Abellard! From now on, he could only enter the back of the Castle. He had to obey if he was a grateful person. Do you understand, Maria?"

"Understand, Ma'am...."

Mme Aamber glanced at the cynical Naeva, then turned around and left with her graceful steps.

The Countess' words were spicy, but Naeva was only thinking about Abellard's marriage. Has Abellard decided to marry Lady Angelia? So, why last night did the man want to curb himself to the point of not receiving jewelry from other men?

Naeva followed Maria with an unpowered step. His eyes stared at the ring of daisies that Abellard had placed on her ring finger. His feelings are mixed now. Upset, disappointed, offended, and hurt towards the man.

The tower to the south is the tower that is at the edge and near the sea. As her feet stepped in and climbed the stairs, the girl immediately felt a damp atmosphere.

Maria looked behind her for a moment. Naeva's face looked sad, the girl must have felt wasted and exiled.

"Don't be sad, M'mselle. In my opinion, the Countess did not mean to make you suffer. The South Tower is the most special of the towers. There were only two rooms here, and the rooms were very spacious. You'd better sleep in the upstairs room, get more sunlight."

Naeva nodded. But really he did not bother about the room. His heart is worried right now. It seems pointless to be here anymore. Abellard is soon to be married, why would she stay in the tower to be a spectator of Abellard's happiness with another woman?

Those hitmen would also definitely stop looking for her after Abellard got married. They would know that the girl from the old castle filled with Wisteria flowers was nothing to the Count.

After climbing about 50 steps, Naeva arrived at the upper room. Maria opened the door, creaking slightly as her thick wooden door rubbed against the marble.

The room was very large as Maria said. Her condition was not as bad as her shadow, but her dark atmosphere slightly made Naeva's chest tight. It's like being in a cave.

Maria turned towards the 1x1/2 meter window and opened it. The sunlight instantly barged in. Makes Naeva feel a little relieved.

"Please, M'mselle. This room is always cleaned, but maybe the bed linen is rarely replaced because there is nothing occupied. I'll have the waiter change his bedsheet."

"Thank you, Maria ..." said Naeva.

"No need to hesitate, M'mselle. You have to tell me whatever you need."

Naeva nodded.

Two maids came in carrying Naeva's suitcase and the jewelry box Abellard gave her last night. His chest seemed to be squeezed by a heavy burden as he stared at the steel box engraved with flowers.

"Go back again to change the bedsheet of Mlle Gaulle" Mary instructed before the two servants came out.

"Okay, ma'am, '" they answered.

Naeva paid no attention to what was happening around her. His mind was only focused on the jewelry box that brought his memories back to the events of last night.

The girl then stepped towards the small table where the jewelry box was placed.

"Marya," she said.

"Yes, M'mselle."

"I want to ask for your help now."

"Tell me, M'mselle. I will try to make it happen" the woman replied as she approached Naeva.

"I want to .. You're handing this box to Count Abellard." The girl took the ring with the daisies off her ring finger and put it in a jewelry box. Then he handed the box over with teary eyes. His throat feels choked. He tried hard not to cry in front of Mary.

"Tell her, I don't deserve her precious jewels" she said, almost sounding like a whisper.

Maria looked at the young girl before her with an anxious look. What has happened between these two people who love each other? Though he had just begun to step in to support the Comte's relationship with this warm-hearted girl.

But he couldn't ask.

**

Mary held out a jewelry box before Count Abellard who looked at her in confusion.

"Mlle Gaulle asked me to deliver it to you with a message."

"Message?"

"Yes, with eyes implying a wound, Mlle Gaulle said that she did not deserve your precious jewelry. Mlle Gaulle seemed to suffer greatly as he stared at this box. I'm sorry if I'm presumptuous, but that's what I see, Monsieur."

Like hearing the thunderbolt that struck, the gallant man with the title of Count immediately stiffened.
