Bettor Mr. Nobles

Bettor Mr. Nobles
Chapter 7

At lunch, Abellard no longer asked for knives and forks. He immediately scooped the food on the table and bribed it into his mouth. He seemed very curious about his own cut vegetables.

His eyes then closed and permeated the taste of the carrot cut inside his mouth.

"Hm ... It's so sweet" he murmured.

Naeva, Emma and her husband Adam immediately smiled amusedly at her. While Marc and Anne who did not see the incident in the kitchen looked at the noble with a confused look.

Even Anne didn't bribe the soup in her spoon.

"Is there no such vegetable in the palace .. aww!" Anne suddenly cried out in surprise before her question was over.

The curly blonde haired girl immediately looked down at the table. It was Marc who stepped on his foot. He looked up annoyed at his brother, but once he saw the code from Marc he suddenly shut up.

Anne is the kind of girl who is easily overwhelmed and never thinks long.

Naeva tidied up the dirty dishes after all the meal, helping Emma and Anne. He likes to do all the housework with his servant's family, because only then will he feel alive in a family.

"I want to eat antelope, Marc. How about we hunt down the antelope later this afternoon?"

Marc's gray eyes instantly sparkled. He loves to hunt with his wife. Especially when she saw the lady pull her bowstring and aim at the target. It was so beautiful and Marc admired it.

"Good M'mselle! I will prepare the equipment," he replied excitedly.

"Jew hunter? In the woods back there?" ask Abellard.

"Yes, you want to come?" Naeva asked in passing. He knew that nobles who had everything like that man might enter the forest just for the sake of getting meat. They spend money to get the best meat.

"Would I be good at hunting?"

"Not how ...."

"Then I'll come. So I'm good at hunting!" abellard with a glint of optimism in his eyes.

Naeva. I didn't expect to get an answer like that. It turns out that men are conquerors who will not stop before they reach perfection.

"alright. You helped Marc pack the gear," he replied.

"Don't forget you brought firewood home, Marc!" emma's message to her son.

It had already entered spring, but the air still felt cold in the castle area. At night, Emma would tell Anne to light a fire in the fireplace.

The wilderness they entered was not very dense. There was still a lot of sunlight entering through the gaps of the trees that soared into the sky.

Naeva breathed that fresh air deeply. He likes spring the most. Where the flowers will grow and bloom beautifully. That day alone Naeva could see the forest roses creeping among the thickets begin to expand.

With a simple cotton dress that was light brown Naeva stepped in the middle of Abellard who was advancing forward and Marc who was guarding at the back.

Her dark brown hair was braided with a hair tie decorated with Aster flowers. While the bow of the arrow was slung on his back.

Naeva looks graceful at the same time tough.

"In the North there are usually deer that are grazing," he said. More to Abellard who still do not understand the condition of the forest.

Hearing that Abellard's steps straight towards the North.

But after a few steps, his body seemed to be pulled backwards. Abellard turned her head and saw Naeva's white hand pulling her shirt.

"Wait first. We'll wait here. Until there is a deer coming out of the bushes," point Naeva towards a fairly lush bush in the North direction.

"Waiting?" abellard asked with an impatient look.

"Yes." Yeah."

Naeva walked to the back of the big tree. Hiding his tiny body from the North. Likewise with Marc who immediately moved to another tree.

Abellard wants to argue. He most dislikes waiting. But eventually forced to come looking for a big tree as a reconnaissance place.

Fifteen minutes passed. There's no movement behind the bush in the North.

Abellard has lost her temper. He was sure not necessarily behind the bush there was a deer. They just waste time waiting.

His long legs then stepped out from behind the tree and walked towards the bush.

"Richard!" reprimand Naeva with a whispering voice.

Srak!

He scooped up the tall bushes creeping through his head.

A pair of gazelles grazing behind there instantly gasped. Then ran away very nimbly and disappeared behind the other bushes.

Abellard. It was true as Naeva said. Behind the bush there are deer.

"Why are you so stubborn? Now you're making the antelope escape!" naeva protest is upset.

"I'm sorry. I completely forgot how to hunt. I've lost my memory, have you forgotten?" Abellard defended herself.

Naeva grunts. What can a man like him remember? His life was full of women and treasures!

"You just go home. Let me and Marc go hunting!" resounding.

"No! I won't be home until I make amends!" sergeant Abellard insisted.

Naeva rolled her eyeballs against the harshness of the man's will.

"As far as you go!" Naeva stepped out her feet with an annoyed heart. Marc followed who did not give any arguments.

About 20 meters from where they are now, there was a land with lush grass. Where the grass-eating animals forage for food. That's where Naeva will try her luck once again.

This time, Naeva saw Abellard no longer asking. The man followed in his footsteps and went in search of a reconnaissance spot as he and Marc stood behind a large tree.

A deer appeared and paced before them. Sniffing bushes to look for leaf shoots. Naeva pulled her bow slowly. Setting the target in his shot.

Meanwhile Marc and Abellard looked silent, looking at Naeva with sparkling eyes. The girl was extremely beautiful, and was even more dazzling as she raised an arrow. Like Wonder Woman with her archery.

The sat!

Naeva's arrow shot rapidly towards the antelope. Almost right on target, until the fur at the nape of the animal was scattered the tip of the arrow.

The deer was surprised. Then run away.

Marc came out of hiding. But just as he was about to aim, something shot beside his shoulder.

The sat!

An arrow shot quickly from behind Marc and...

Buk up!

The deer fell.

Naeva and Marc turned to the arrow. It was Abellard who shot him. The man smiled with satisfaction. Her lips engraved with an attractive shape smiled slightly obliquely, making Naeva judge there was arrogance there.

The girl did not praise Abellard's success. He was even angry that Abellard almost shot Marc. He immediately invited Marc to check his antelope.

With the tip of his eyes he could see the disappointment on the count of Marseille's face.

"I've got the antelope, why are you still angry?"

Abellard compensated for Naeva's steps as she followed Marc, who carried the medium-sized antelope alone.

Naeva stopped her steps and looked at Abellard's dark blue eyes with a resentful heart.

But when the netra they met, Naeva could feel something that made her unable to turn her gaze. The man's eyes looked at him deeply, even deeply, causing his heart to feel a strange pain. The pain then turned into overflowing happiness. Happiness brings flowers.

Naeva tried to let go of her heart and quickly turned away.

"It's not about getting a deer. But it's about respecting others, fighting together, and putting others' lives before ego's." Naeva's feet stepped back.

A TAP!

Abellard caught his hand and pulled the girl to face him.

"Why is Marc so important to you?" abellard's gaze hit Naeva's bright brown netra. The pretty face with the pointed nose and pink lips stunned her.

Abellard unknowingly swallowed her saliva.

"Are we cousins?" ask the man later.
