From morning on, Lucie kept an eye on Mary as she promised Lady Angelia. Mary did look strange today, she intermittently went out and watched the front yard all the way to the gate.
Lucie peeked through the window. Monitor Maria to find out what the woman is hiding.
"What are you doing?" Louise suddenly appeared behind him and asked with an astonished look.
Lucie was shocked. This reconnaissance made him tense instead of playing, and Louise's voice suddenly startled him.
"I'm looking at Maria" he replied, stroking his chest.
"Make what?"
"The woman is hiding something. And I want to investigate."
Louise wanted to laugh at the answer of her twin. Why was Mary suddenly suspected?
But Lucie's behavior today is enough to make him confused, since this morning continued to face tense.
There seems to be a serious problem.
The woman and the judge looked out the window and looked for Mary. He saw his aunt's assistant standing by the Castle pillar, and the woman was watching the gate.
"Maybe he was told by the Countess to wait for someone. Why should you be suspicious?" abugn.
"No, Mary was planning something. I'm sure it is!" Lucie's big eyes widened as she tried to convince her sister.
"What's the reason you think that?"
"Because Lady Angelia said it. A person as good as Lady Angelia cannot lie to vilify others."
"Oh!" Louise spontaneously snorted at Lucie's reply. "So this is all because of Lady Angelia's talk?"
"Yes, Lady Angelia was worried about Monsieur Comte being alone in the room and she felt that Mary was planning something bad for our cousin."
"Mahaha ...." Louise suddenly burst out loud.
Feeling Lady Angelia's deduction being underestimated by her twin, Lucie seemed annoyed. "Why are you laughing?"
"Because the man who caused Monsieur the Count to be aloof was Lady Angelia herself, Lucie. And the one with the bad intentions is also your friend."
Louise rolled her eyeballs while she crossed her arms. "All right, it's up to you. I'll warn you one last time, don't want to be used by Lady Angelia again" he said. Then immediately turn around and leave Lucie alone.
Lucie's pissing off. Louise never listened to him.
Then peek out again to monitor Maria. But that woman is not out there.
"Ck!" Lucie is back. "Louise's ways I've been fooled. Now Mary has disappeared. Where did that woman go?" he hurried to search again.
From the hall to the Countess' room, Lucie searched for traces of Maria as a detective. But the most respected assistant in the castle was not found. Then he decided to look into the kitchen.
Lucie's search finally comes to fruition, Maria is indeed in the kitchen. He immediately found a place to look. Behind a sack of wheat piled high.
Maria was watching the cook.
"This feast does not need to cook chicken stew for Monsieur Count. As well as the other menu, no one contains chicken, do you understand?"
Lucie frowned. Why did Mary forbid cooks to make food containing chicken? If it's just chicken stew, no surprise. Because Monsieur Comte may not want to enjoy his favorite food. But if there should be no chicken, it's like .. The food is meant for someone else who is anti-chicken!
The bedwet woman then saw Maria calling the servant girl she often saw with Mlle Gaulle. Then talk separately with another waiter. Approaching an empty place, not far from where he was hiding.
"Take the food when it's ready. Do not be late and provoke the attention of the Countess. One more thing, do not forget to code as we have agreed," Maria said in a soft voice.
Lucie's eyes instantly widened to hear it. His fur got that shocking fact. It was true that Mary was keeping something a secret. According to Lady Angelia. Had Louise heard it too, her twin would have regretted having underestimated her opinion.
The girl immediately came out of the hiding place, and rushed to meet Lady Angelia in her room.
The Lady was sitting in front of the mirror with a private servant who was busy combing her long hair.
"Lady Angelia, I found something!" yells.
Lady Angelia looked excited. "Something what?"
"Mary forbade cooks to make food containing chicken. It's like it's for people who can't eat chicken. And it can't be Monsieur Comte, I know his appetite."
"So? You suspect that Maria asked the cook to make the food for someone else?"
"Looks like. And there's something more suspicious, my Lady. Maria warned the waiter to code as agreed."
