"Morning!!"
An unusual friendly greeting sound rang out, making Lana spurt out a little coffee that was in her mouth.
Moreover, he was well acquainted with the owner of that heavy voice.
Lana looked up to the other side, and found Luke standing there, complete with his neat suit, and also a cup in hand.
The scenery that he had often seen, when Lana was in Merian.
Lana was very surprised, but she still held on to her seat on the long swing.
"What are you doing there?" lana asked, before she could refrain from acting like she didn't care.
"This is my house!" the word Luke refers to the building, which was only a few days old.
For a moment Lana was at a loss for words. I was trying to digest the information that surprised him.
The cabin was very close to his house. Only separated by a few meters wide land, which contains a flower plant with an unattractive order, because Lana herself tried to plant it.
He had been wondering, why did the landowner choose to build a cabin with a location adjacent to his house? even though the land that was disputed with Joan's farm was still wide.
But then Lana realized that the land near her house was flatter, while the land near Joan was slightly sloping.
The cabin, which now stands firmly beside his house, was only completed about three days ago. The sound of the mower he heard yesterday was the beginning of his construction, which admirably could be completed in just three weeks.
A comfortable modern cabin. From the outside Lana can not see clearly the inside, but the outside of the cabin was arranged with shade and beautiful.
Lana of course was immediately interested in seeing the design of the cabin, several times she saw it with admiration. Lana's house may be larger in size, but the cabin looks more expensive.
The main building of the cabin is made of a mixture of wood and stone for its foundation. Segitiga roof is built in a modern style, so it looks like the entire cabin building is covered by a triangular roof.
All the windows there also look modern, with the side almost entirely made up of wide glass.
Lana also had time to praise in her heart when seeing the design of the side of the house. Wide glass, will give the residents the freedom to enjoy the scenery, without having to feel the cold air outside.
It would be a pity to build a cabin with a closed room in Grindelwald, the view outside is too beautiful to ignore.
And now he is faced with his owner who is none other than Luke.
What kind of coincidence is this? lana's mind was upset.
"But that land..."
He wanted to say that the landowner as well as his house were the same person, but the sentence was cut by Luke.
"The land and the house are mine" he said.
"You're Aubrey's granddaughter?" he cried in disbelief.
I bought this old house from him? inner Lana.
"How do you know about my grandmother?" Luke frowned and walked over to Lana's terrace.
Luke was careful when crossing the borders of his land, so as not to step on Lana's plant.
While Lana immediately cursed in her heart because she realized her carelessness.
"Joan" Lana replied, briefly.
The lie that Luke quickly believed, because he nodded in understanding.
Luke now stands leaning against one of the roof support posts while his eyes scour the house.
"You fixed it pretty decent" Lukas said, pointing to some new sections around the terrace. Lana has fixed some parts there.
Not much to change the shape, because he thinks it will cost a lot. Lana just patched a few holes and also replaced the loose window.
"Why are you here?"
"I told you earlier, the building is my home. Do I need a reason to be in my own home?"
Luke now sounds amused.
"But the land has been empty for a long time, what makes you suddenly want to build a house there?"
" Because I realized, continuing to be in Merian was exhausting. I need somewhere else to rest"
"You've been living in Merian all this time?" that fact surprised Lana, because no one told her about it. Not even Luke himself.
Lana considers Luke's presence in Merian to be late at night, and also early in the morning, signifying his workaholic nature.
"Yes, I've been living there all this time. In the room you're in"
Lana regretted that having bitten her breakfast bread, it went into the wrong channel and made her choke when she heard Luke's reply.
He coughed violently.
Luke quickly approached her and rubbed Lana's back. He then snatched the coffee on the table and handed it to Lana.
Lana sipped it with relief, and was grateful that the coffee was already warm. Hot coffee would only burn his throat which had been grievously choked.
"Well, the room I'm in?!?" Lana was finally able to respond after her cough subsided.
"Yes, and no need to be surprised like that, you're freaking me out" Lukas said, still rubbing Lana's back.
"I'm fine" Lana put Luke's hand away while shifting away from him.
Luke shrugged his shoulders lightly, then sat down next to Lana, on a long swing. He comfortably crossed his legs and drank the tea he brought.
"Why didn't you ever tell me that?" lana asked, in a slightly softer voice.
He insisted on occupying the room. But at least Lana wouldn't be too pushy, if she knew, that room was where Luke lived.
"Hmmmm. You were fucked up, I didn't want to add to your mess"
Luke shook the swing with his foot, slowly.
Lana instantly fell silent, any rebuttal prepared by her had dissolved from her brain.
He was not used to the kindness he received from others. He was now used to receiving Joan's kindness, because he could no longer avoid her.
But it was in Merian by chance, the police told him to.
Lana guessed Neff suggested it was because he was Luke's brother, Neff did it to ease his own work.
Luke shouldn't have to treat him specifically.
"Thank you" said Lana, deciding it was the most appropriate thing to say.
Lukas nodded, "It's not that troublesome. Don't worry".
Luke then glanced at the clock in his hand and got up from the swing.
"Well, it's good to see you're okay now" he said, grabbing his teacup and waving at Lana.
Lana who from earlier was still silent because she was confused by all the surprises she got this morning, could only nod and reply to Luke's words.
As soon as Lukas disappears from view, Lana at full speed, runs into his room and unloads the cardboard boxes used to store his important documents, including his passport and the documents he is looking for, a letter of sale for this house.
He researched it and found Lukas Bianchi Merian's name as the owner of the house that bestows his power on property agents.
Lana hadn't noticed it before, because she thought it wasn't important. Lana doesn't care who this house belongs to, she just wants to buy it.
Who knew Luke was Aubrey's grandson?
Lana closed the cardboard harder than she expected, then propped up her face with her hands.
Does this mean I will see Luke again? inner Lana.
Lana still remembers how her heart thumped wildly when she saw Luke at Joan's house last week.
Lana had not seen Luke for nearly a month, and she had changed greatly.
Her hair that was a pale blonde yesterday and a little long, was now shorter, and there was no more gradation of discoloration.
Luke's real hair turned out to be light brown, which Lana said looked more fitting for him.
Lana was relieved that she managed to act ordinary when they met. He was very aware of his joyful feelings when he saw Luke, but there was no need to show it to anyone.
Exasperatedly, Lana rattled the hair on her head. Why were all the people who should be wanted by him even near him?

Luke loved his new morning routine.
Diligently, she greeted Lana every morning and invited her to chat. Luke speaks more often of course.
The second day of waiting, Lukas was disappointed because Lana was not seen on the terrace.
But not Luke if you give up easily. So Luke crossed over and knocked on the side door of Lana's house, taking a long time, before Lana finally opened it with an annoyed face.
But Luke ignored him.
After a week, Lana gave up. Finally he continued his habit of drinking coffee on the terrace, accompanied by Luke forcibly.
Luke already knew Lana's weakness, and made excellent use of it.
Neff's right, he needs Lana.
The work is back neat, with no one part neglected.
Darla felt the need to praise it. His steps also became lighter, as he walked home at night. Luke went back to sleep well.
He has never felt more alive than he is today, for more than four years.
Little by little, Luke learns to remember those sad memories with a new face.
His life is almost perfect, except for Neff.
As soon as Luke moves from Merian to this cabin. Neff without permission followed him like a pet and stayed there indefinitely.
With the reason of wanting to continue his research on Lana. Luke cannot forbid it, because he also wants to know what disease Lana suffered.
Neff is still riled up, as he still can't diagnose what exactly Lana is suffering from.
Neff had already disallowed any kind of mental illness she knew, because Lana looked very normal. But no normal person has a medical record of such a thick psychological illness.
The thing she read in Lana's medical records says that Lana can not be cured with prescribed medicines.
For Neff, that means Lana doesn't have the disease she was diagnosed with. But she couldn't pinpoint exactly what Lana was suffering from
At first, Neff was just looking from inside Luke's house, as he chatted with Lana. Neff was able to recognize when Lana tried to refrain from responding to Luke's chatter, despite looking from his eyes, clearly Lana was very interested in the chatter material.
Having grown tired of making fruitless observations, Neff recklessly joined forces. Ignore the deadly glare from Luke for disturbing.
Luke will also be happy, if later he managed to find out what Lana really suffered.

"Morning!!"
Lana was already very used to hearing that greeting, even if the one who greeted her was Neff. The two brothers never got tired of interrupting the morning.
Lana just replied with a nod.
And as usual, Luke and Neff cross the side yard and join Lana.
The long swing on the terrace could not accommodate the three of them. After several turns drinking coffee while standing, Lana got a surprise when one morning there were two chairs complete with a table arranged in front of the swing.
And so, the two of them sat together on that chair, while Lana remained on the swing.
The conversation was more frequent between the two of them, Lana would only answer when they asked, and it happened very often. Lana inevitably, listened to their casual chat.
Lana could not imagine how Aubrey would feel if she knew the two grandchildren she missed, every morning in this house.
Lana has never told Aubrey about Luke and Neff, who are now close neighbors.
Aubrey wouldn't be able to see them on a morning like this. It would be another story if Luke came to this house at night.
But of course Lukas has no interest in coming to his house at night, the odd breakfast activities that are taking place at this time can occur due to coercion.
Lana doesn't plan to invite Luke to her house anytime soon.
On the second day after Luke's move, Lana tries to dodge, by not going out onto the side porch for breakfast.
But then Luke knocked on the side door and called him out. After trying to ignore her for almost half an hour, Lana finally gave up and walked out.
Lana could not forget how Luke's face immediately sparkled happily as she opened the door.
After that, breakfast activities together on the terrace became their habit. And Neff finally joined.
"Lana?" luke's voice brought him back to the real world.
"What do you think of that?" tanyakanya. Neff and Luke looked at him curiously, it was obvious that they were both waiting for Lana to talk.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what you're talking about" Lana said honestly and slightly embarrassed.
It had been about ten minutes he had drowned in his daydream.
"He.ha.ha"
The laughter of the two of them broke together.
"We know, Lana. What do you think about that deep daydream?" luke asked, still with laughter on his lips.
Lana realized that the two of them were teasing her.
With a frown, Lana leaned back on the swing and lowered her head, pretending to be busy with her phone.
Lana also actually thought it was quite funny, but with all her might she held back a smile. He would not give them the satisfaction of seeing her smile.
Lana finally bought a cell phone a few weeks ago, because of Joan's coercion. He was upset that he could not contact Lana at any time. There are now three names in his contacts, Joan, Luke and Neff.
For the last two names he never asked for it, but they freely put it in the phone, knowing Lana had bought it.
"Don't be angry Lana. You know your daydreaming habits are already so bad. You have to cut it down" Neff finally stopped laughing at him.
Lana just grumbled at Neff's words.
"We're talking about that over the next few days, maybe we won't be able to accompany you to breakfast" Lukas said.
I never asked you to accompany me, Lana's inner being lightning-fast.
Fortunately, his tongue still remembered his manners.
"We will be very busy with all the preparations for the festival. You're the same, aren't you?" ask Lukas.
Lana nodded
A few more days will be held at the end of autumn festival in Grindelwald. An annual festival marking the arrival of winter.
Arak-arakan, music and fireworks festival, do not forget opera and traditional music performances, alternating in the title there for three days.
The whole community of Grindelwald will take to the streets in the festivities. Three days during the festival is a holiday.
But it was different for the three of them.
As usual, the festival also means a crowded tourist who come to Grindelwald.
All hotel entrepreneurs of any type are very busy because of it, especially Lukas.
Merian is the largest hotel and resort in Grindelwald, all rooms are booked by guests, on festival days since a month ago.
The same thing happened to Joan's farmhouse.
Lana gets tired of answering all the incoming phones. He had to repeatedly answer the phone that came with the same sentence, that there was no room left on that day. Lana's been saying it in six languages she knows.
Obviously, the festival adds to his busy life.
Unlike Merian who still got a special food supply from the city, because of the large needs of food every day, Joan had to work hard to meet her warehouse with a variety of foods, including food, to ensure all guests will still be able to eat during the festival run.
Starting from yesterday, Lana was already busy helping Joan fill the food warehouse.
Because when the festival takes place, they will not have time to shop. And again, the streets of Grindelwald will be full of tourists, it will be a waste of time if you have to pacing to the store.
Yesterday Joan bought tons of flour, eggs, spices and more that filled the back of Erich's truck.
Lana is happy to help the job actually, but the policy that prohibits cars on certain roads is starting to feel annoying by Lana.
Erich's truck could not be carelessly parked in front of the store where they were shopping, not infrequently he had to walk up to lift a box laden with contents as far as several hundred meters.
The job of transporting goods there becomes twice as tiring. Joan banned him, but Lana insisted.
Erich wasn't young, Lana could see her breathing gasping while lifting heavy weights. Lana can't let it.
But there are other things that make it more upset, namely most of the stores that Joan goes to, the location is not far from the clock tower.
That means Lana sometimes has to walk around to dodge.
So exhausting!
He almost spilled a box of potatoes yesterday, because his hands were sore. Luckily Neff, who was patrolling on a bicycle, was not far from where he stood, looking at him.
Quickly, Neff helped catch the box, and saved it from the potato disaster flooding the highway.
Neff kindly helped Lana carry the box, so that her left hand could be free to carry a bag of apples that burdened her. Lana didn't hesitate to thank him at the time.
The trip was a little hampered, because Neff questioned Lana's desire to take a longer route, to reach the truck.
But like Lukas, Neff eventually complied and did not comment much on his attitude of avoiding the road under the tower.
Like Lana and Lukas, Neff will also not enjoy the holidays like other villagers, he and the police force must work hard to regulate the increase in the number of tourists.
His relaxing days could be sure to end in time. The three of them will be very busy when the day of the festival arrives.
"Well, I hope you don't miss us too much later" Neff said with a mischievous smile.
"As if" muttered Lana. He was finally able to get peace while enjoying his breakfast as before.
He will enjoy his solitude as always.
