Blue Light

Blue Light
ENAM

After eating, and resting the session earlier, Lana's body was stronger. He still feels pain in the face and neck, but the drugs he takes help reduce pain.

Lana in her solitude, repeatedly reminded herself to forget what Petra did, so that she no longer exploded like that. Lana kept chanting fine spells inside her head.

And when the creeping afternoon came, another thought made Lana momentarily forget about Petra.

Lana will spend the night in a foreign place for the first time. Lana doesn't know what to expect at sunset. Lana hopes of course they will look normal, or maybe even nothing.

But it's almost impossible.

Of all the places Lana has lived, she has only found one place not haunted.

Lana had fun for a moment, but unfortunately the streets around the building was actually breaking the record, as the road with the most number of ghosts. Lana could only stay there for a month, before finally choosing to move.

Lana had realized earlier pacing back and forth restlessly while looking at the sky outside the window.

The sight of the blushing red twilight, which was laced by the mountains, should have stunned Lana, but the beauty did not manage to make her calmer.

Second after second it crept slowly, before Lana finally saw the last red tinge in the sky, disappearing.

The sky outside was pitch black.

Lana is prepared to turn on all the lights there, unfortunately this room is designed for a romantic atmosphere. All the lights are there, only produce a dim atmosphere.

Lana opened her eyes wide, looking from which angle they would appear.

One minute, two minutes, there was no movement in the room. Lana sat tensely on the sofa while continuing to circulate her gaze to the corner of the room.

Lana had almost concluded that the room was empty, when her ears caught a soft-pitched whisper through her eardrums. The whisper was very subtle, but it was enough to make Lana stand on guard.

With her heart pounding, Lana waited.

As the seconds passed, the song grew clearer, still in a sad and miserable tone.

The wait without knowing when it will end drains Lana's courage. His body was flooded with cold sweat.

Lana is now starting to clearly hear the verse from the song. The lyrics sound like a lullaby for kids. But sung with a heart-wrenching sad tone.

Lana's hair now stood up, other than as the cold began to approach her, this sad song made her have a bad feeling.

And as his eyes flickered, a woman slowly pierced through the wall to the right of the entrance.

The woman walked slowly while carrying something that looked like a long cloth on her right hand.

His body parts are transparent on the left hand and head, but then flickers move on the right. The blink looked like a glitch on an ancient film under the dim light of Lana's room.

At first glance, Lana concludes that she is normal. The woman's form was intact, and she walked normally. His long hair was strewn about irregularly, covering most of his face.

But that opinion was immediately dismissed by him.

Lana started to feel something was wrong, as the woman continued to step forward without looking at her. The blue light that usually made the ghosts interested, did not make him turn his head.

Their distance was still a few meters away, but the chill that Lana felt, far exceeded when Aubrey tried to hug her. Lana's body was already shivering. This means the woman's spirit has a problem or perhaps a heavy grudge.

The woman continued walking, with a mouth that did not stop singing the silent song.

The song, no longer sounds like a lullaby, because it keeps Lana from feeling comfortable. Each tone sent out a feeling of horror and also sadness.

The woman finally stopped right in the middle of the room, a meter away from where Lana was.

With severe doubt and fear, Lana gathers her courage to say hello.

But there was no sound coming out of Lana's mouth, she did something strange.

He threw the cloth he was carrying up, and one side of the cloth successfully stuck to an object that was no longer there. Then slowly his hands tied the cloth into a shape like a high swing.

Lana who was still speechless, looked at all of that with a wondering heart.

What's he gonna do?

After making sure the cloth was stuck, the woman stepped into the corner of the room and pulled the object that was also invisible, because it had moved, then stopped again in the same place.

As soon as the woman climbed the object she had been dragged to, Lana immediately understood what was going to happen, and she immediately cried out stifled.

"No!!! Don't do that"

Lana's face paled, as white as paper, filled with great fear.

The woman turned her head towards Lana. The woman's eyes looked blank at first, but then her eyeballs moved focused on Lana's figure.

He hears Lana's call, but he doesn't stop what he's doing.

Very slowly, still with her face glued to Lana, the woman placed her neck on the swing of the cloth she had made.

"Please stop"

Lana whimpered while tears started to go down her cheeks.

In a split second, Lana watched in slow motion, the woman looked like she was kicking something with her leg, and the singing instantly stopped, changing with the sound of a crackling coming from a broken neck.

THE CRAAKKK!!!!! the sound echoed in Lana's quiet room.

"No!!" scream Lana, while covering her face.

The sad woman committed suicide by hanging her neck. Her figure hung helplessly in front of Lana.

Lana's body immediately limp, he fell sitting on the carpet while sobbing. He bent his knees and buried his face there.

The sight he saw exceeded Lana's tolerance limit.

His body was no longer shivering just from the cold, but also from being shaken. That horrifying and horrifying scene of horror, will forever be imprinted in Lana's mind.

Lana had not recovered, the sultry singing was heard again. The woman will continue to repeat her death ritual until the sun rises

"No!!  quit"

Lana involuntarily shouted out loudly, her hands moving to cover her ears, trying to block the sound.

Slowly Lana shuffled to the corner of the room to dodge. Just seeing him once was enough to make him crumble.

"Stop, I beg you, stop"

Lana muttered that sentence many times, while continuing to cover her ears. But he kept hearing the song, as if it had been embedded in his brain.

Lana's unstable thoughts begin to mix up the trauma. The memory of Petra and her deeds, beating Lana mercilessly.

At this time, Lana could no longer distinguish, whether she was pleading with the woman to stop hanging her neck, or was pleading with Petra who was in her head to stop doing her depraved deeds.

Lana was so immersed in her fear and illusion that she could not hear Luke's voice calling her from behind the door.

------------0O0----------------------------------0O0----------------------------------------------

Lukas was in his room to retrieve the work papers left behind. When he suddenly heard a screaming sound from Lana's room.

Luke immediately stopped doing his activities and listened more carefully, by approaching the wall to the east of the room. Lukas lives in the resort, and his room is right next to the room Lana occupied.

He had no other choice when he put Lana in that room. While taking Lana to Merian, only the room was empty. The exclusive block has been fully booked. The room was empty, just because it had not been rented for a long time.

Lukas strongly maintains privacy on the exclusive block, as it also serves as an attraction for VVIP guests. This place is perfect for hiding Lana from people who like to gossip.

For the second time, Luke hears a scream, and this time is convinced it's Lana's voice.

Luke rushed out and knocked on Lana's door. But there was no answer, and this made him even more anxious.

Finally with the master cardlock he had, he forcefully opened the door of Lana's room.

For a moment Luke was confused because he did not find Lana anywhere, until he finally heard a mutter from the corner of the main room.

And for the third time, Luke sees Lana in a miserable state.

The thin body shivered in a curled position bending the knees, with the face hidden, and the hands covering the ears. Now Luke could hear clearly that Lana was begging someone to stop.

Luke pressed his hand furiously.

He was even more sorry, for not smashing Petra's face as Joan had proposed.

How could he attack a creature as weak as Lana?  And now it was clear, he had not only injured Lana's body but also her soul.

With a slow step Luke approached Lana, and crouched down before her. "Lana"

"Aaaghhh"

Lana screamed as Luke's hand touched her skin.

The touch not only surprised Lana, Luke was also aghast because Lana's skin was icy cold. Though this room has an automatic heater that will always make the temperature cool.

With a dumb look, Lana tries to see who touched her.

"Luke? "

"Yes, it's me. Relax, you don't have to be afraid. Petra won't be able to hurt you again"

As soon as he finished saying that, Luke seemed to see something breaking inside Lana's body. Lana's eyes slowly dimmed, and tears flooded in instantly.

With a loud bang, Lana cried out.

He even tried to slam his body to the floor desperately. But fortunately Luke managed to prevent it, without much thought, Luke pulled the thin body and hugged it.

Luke didn't ask or anything, he just kept quiet while gently stroking Lana's back . She said Lana needed that cry, and would not stop or tell her to shut up.

"Take me out of here!" Lana whispered softly between her cries.

"Eh...? " Luke is confused by Lana's sudden strange request.

"Wherever, as long as it's not in this room! "

Lana again pleaded with Luke, this time shaking her body.

Seeing Lana's tearful face, Luke decided to fulfill his request immediately.  Luke quickly pulled the limp body to stand up and pushed Lana out to her room.

It is very risky to bring Lana to the main building at this time, because the night is getting late. Maybe someone will see them.

Being with Lana in a normal situation alone will spread exciting news to the villagers, especially if anyone sees the chaotic situation of Lana, Luke could not imagine what kind of wild story would be spread.

"Sit"

Luke took off Lana's hand which he had grasped earlier.

Luke did it because Lana's hands were so cold. He was relieved now that the hand felt warmer. Lukas takes the blanket and puts it on Lana's shoulder.

Lana obediently sat on the sofa, and bent her knees again to hide her face. Lana came back crying, but only in a small sobbing, no longer a languishing roar like that.

Luke hoped that meant he was calmer.

Lukas walks into a mini kitchen in the corner of the room, then makes a cup of coffee for Lana as well as himself. He put the coffee in front of Lana.

But Lana still did not react, so Luke then sat down next to Lana and kept quiet. Grab his ipad and glasses and start work checking reports.

Or trying to work.

His concentration wanders off in an uncertain direction, all of his attention being sucked in by Lana, making him snagged on a single page of reports without progress.

The girl who was curled up next to him, gave a million puzzles that made his brain think hard.

Lana protested tenaciously all the things that had been arranged by her.

Lukas lied about the police telling him to stay. They won't care where Lana is. If Lana was in her own house, it would only mean Neff had to walk further, when it came to obtaining a description,

Lana also looks unaffected, when she realizes she is in Merian and has just met the owner.

Not a big deal for Luke, but usually he gets different treatment after his interlocutor knows who he really is.

But Lana doesn't, she instead looks forced herself when calling him Mr. Merians.

And strangely, it irritated Luke, who preferred Lana to call her name.

But all the spirit as well as the light in Lana's eyes just disappeared.

Now he's back wallowing in depression when night falls. But Luke could understand, no woman in the world deserves such treatment.

Trauma and also long-term stress due to a rape event can make a person suffer from PTSD. Luke hopes Lana won't have to bear that burden either.

Maybe Lana needs a psychologist, does she have to call a doctor to be safer?

Luke doesn't like how Lana tried to pretend to be tough in front of Joan.

Lana's forced smile irritated him, so he told her to stop earlier, but Luke regretted telling her to stop while yelling.

But why do you care so much about Luke?

Luke questioned his actions. Luke was confused.

What did he get from helping Lana?

She was indebted because Lana helped her with Diaz, but her usual self would only give her a few thousand euros in thanks. It was his initial intention before finding Lana in that passageway.

Why now would he want to help her deal with all her problems? Lana can't even remember who she is.

Luke remembers how he felt a little offended when Lana said she couldn't remember. Luke never received such treatment from any woman.

Throughout his life, Luke used to be the center of attention because of his face.

Not that he was arrogant, but his pride was slightly hurt.

Luke has lived all the life cycle of all men's dreams, namely being a playboy when young, until finally he changed when married.

But just this time, Luke finds a girl not remembering him after they meet and chat for a few minutes.

Unknowingly Luke smiled obliquely remembering that.

Lana is a unique girl, because neither her face nor her wealth leave no trace in Lana's mind. Lana was not impressed with Lukas Merian.

According to Luke, this is very interesting!!

Lukas turned to see if Lana had calmed down, to find Lana's body was stretched and leaning on the sofa.

Lana fell asleep in a painful position, because her legs were still bent and her head was still down with hair covering the entire face.

If Luke believed in ghosts, he would have been terrified. Lana doesn't look like a human being in that position.

Slowly and very gently, Luke raised Lana's body and moved her to the bed. Lana does not wake up, she just squirms while muttering about something as Luke covers her.

Luke is relieved that his body temperature is normal, the coldness of Lana's body reminds him of Petra's condition. But Lana's breath sounded fine, so Luke threw away his worries all the way.

"I'm sorry Dad---"

Luke paused his intention to leave, and sat down next to Lana. Watching how Lana sleeps restlessly.

Lana is delirious in English, of course because it's her native language. And Luke liked it, Lana's voice sounded lighter, Lana usually spoke German with a slightly heavy voice.

"I'm sorry-Rozh" Lana was delirious again.

But this time with tears. Lana was crying in her sleep.

Who's Rozh? Why would Lana cry for it? Suddenly Luke was a little upset.

Lana is clearly unwell, and Luke plans to call a psychiatrist for her. But given Lana's never-compliant attitude, it would be useless if Luke called her without consent.

He has to find a way to get Lana to agree.

Luke yawned and glanced towards the wall clock and was shocked, as it was almost midnight by now. He had to sleep, but his bed was filled. Luke does not like to sleep on the sofa, because his height exceeds the length of the sofa.

A moment Luke glanced at the empty space next to Lana which was very tempting. The bed is super king size. There is still plenty of room left for him.

"In your dreams, Luke" he growled.

She won't do anything to Lana, but that doesn't mean she can sleep next to Lana.

Luke does not want to do things that will make Lana misunderstand, or even make her soul worse.

So Luke took three extra blankets in the cupboard and a pillow.

He spread two blankets on the floor and lay there. It took a while for Luke to fall asleep. The floor was colder than he thought.

The other option was to sleep in the room Lana had occupied. But Luke did not consider that choice at all. If it wasn't for Lana, Luke would have been reluctant to enter the room again.
