There are even those who paint graves with various colors, until the initially creepy cemetery, it is seen as a beautiful art object.   So how does Sharia address this reality?  

The Prophet said in one of his hadiths: ∈ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ “ I do not see the sights, except the grave is the most frightening” (HR. Ahmadis).

  Based on the hadith, the actual grave is characterized as a creepy place. This is intended that the person who sees and pilgrimages the grave can take the effort from the condition of the deceased, so that he is increasing his fear and increasingly preparing provisions in the face of death.   No wonder the Prophet forbade building graves and embellishing them with plaster. In the hadith described:

The prohibition in building graves (java: mengijing) is directed at the law of makruh when there is no hope and the body is buried in private land. Unlike the case if the corpse is buried in a public cemetery, then the law to build a cemetery is haram and mandatory to dismantle the building, because it will have an impact on monopolizing the land that is actually used in general...

His eyes were already holding the tears that were about to come out. He picked up some grass around his wife's grave.
