CHOOSE SILENCE

CHOOSE SILENCE
Chapters. 14. Him

As promised to Mr. Seun, we are now in an open cafe. Actually Mr. Seun refused because it was inappropriate but I still insisted. We talked about a lot of things, exchanged stories.

Mr. Seun may be the same age as Papa, but because he works so hard that he looks old. I bought fur for Mr. Seun's wife.

We spent 3 hours just sitting in the cafe. I also gave some unang sheets to Mr. Seun for taking his time to work. As usual Mr. Seun refused but I immediately put the money in the hands of Mr. Seun and immediately opened the gate.

I entered the house empty.

"It looks like Serena is leaving," I muttered straight into the kitchen. My eyes were rounded with hardened jaws looking at the messy state of the kitchen. Serena did that to me. Because a little tired I left the kitchen business first, after resting this body will just be beberes.

I woke up in the afternoon. I cursed myself for being able to sleep that long. Yes to provoke these eyes earlier I took the time to read a book, without realizing I was asleep.

I exited the room directly down the stairs that were directly connected to the kitchen area. Instantly my steps stopped to see the dining table was filled with two figures of cold and cruel men in my opinion. On the other hand especially in the sink I saw Serena busying herself.

I took a long breath.

"The drama is about to begin," my mind must be ready to accept Alfred's curse and curse.

I stepped slowly, my intention was to cook for dinner for myself.

"Miss" said Andre, realizing my arrival.

"Have you woken up, Miss Isabella?" alfred's baritone voice stopped my steps right behind him.

Serena rushed to the dining table.

"Honey saw my nails fall apart, the skin of my palms become rough," Serena pamperedly stood beside Alfred while showing his hands.

My eyes narrowed at Serena's complaint like a spoiled woman. Alfred grabbed the tissue and rubbed Serena's still-wet palm. I was stunned to see Alfred's concern for Serena. Serena glanced at me with a mocking smile.

"You destroyed the kitchen but you couldn't go back to cleaning it" Alfred said, raining, even the bench he sat on turned to face me who was still in my initial position standing.

"Sorry" I said, not daring to look at Alfred.

"Washing dirty furniture and messy kitchens causes my beautiful nails to fall apart" Serena blames me.

"Isn't that your own thing?" my mutter deliberately upset Serena and I forgot Alfred's presence in our midst.

"You turned Isabella's facts upside down?"

"Have you never washed dishes or anything? did you eat using disposable leaves directly thrown away? that's the duty of women, want her career woman it has become her duty what else to bear as a wife. I'm just the daughter of the richest man in Indonesia did not escape that obligation," I said at length unconsciously.

"Did you say princess of January? your dreams are too far away," sneered Serena into thinking I was dreaming too much. Means Serena doesn't know who I am.

"It's up to you to say that if I dream too far, Aunt, it's perfectly fine,"

"Aunty? you call me Auntie? we are the age of Isabella," said Serena did not receive with a sharp eye.

"Indeed the same age but unfortunately your face is wasteful,"

"You!"

Serena grabbed my hair so tightly that I screamed a little.

"Stop!"

Alfred's baritone voice broke up our quarrel. Serena also took the jubilee out of my hair.

On the other hand Andre laughed hearing me call out Serena Aunt and her face was extravagant, of course an intolerable laugh, where bravely she was outraged.

"Honey she dares to call me aunty and my face extravagant," Serena fought back spoiled in Alfred's hands.

"Andre took Serena to the apartment" Alfred said.

"We'd better delay. I have a sudden business, go home with Andre" Alfred said with a cold face while releasing a circle of Serena's hands on his arms.

"Alright," said Serena with a look of annoyance, passing with her desire to nudge my shoulder. I rolled a lazy eyeball.

Now it's just the two of us. I was still standing in the place where I was, while Alfred was looking at me intently.

"Are you proud to show yourself? good means getting ready to receive the news of a heart attack from both of your parents" Alfred snapped with a grin.

My eyes were round and my body stiffened at Alfred's words. I shook my mouth muttering if I didn't want that to happen.

"Aware of your status!"

I fell silent while holding this clear hill. It wasn't Alfred's maki that caused me to want to cry but if my family's name had been brought up my defense would have been ruined.

"The mother called me because your phone couldn't be reached" said Alfred managed to make me lift my face towards him. "Mama says you always avoid every time they want to call," she said back with a face expression that is difficult to interpret.

I chose silence without saying a word.

Prang

The sound of broken glass made me close my eyes. Alfred threw the glass on the floor for no reason.

"If people speak the answer!" Snapped Alfred while getting up and left me.

"What do I have to answer? it's better to choose silence" I murmured with teary eyes. I understand why Alfred floated the glass, it was because I was upset about my attitude. The cruel man vented with a glass, yes now I call him a cruel man because that is the reality.

I stepped carefully, collecting the broken glass that had been splattered. My hand grabbed the large shards with a pushy look.

"No, I'm not gonna let you die right now, my game's not done yet" Alfred's voice surprised me.

Alfred returned to the dining table because his car keys had forgotten who was lying on the dining table.

"Dead? very quaint. Who wants to commit suicide? I also don't want to die right now before I know behind all this" my inner self.

Today was my first admission to work at the country's largest hospital. Avoiding the delay I was now ready to slide. I wore cream pants with matching shirt interiors and in combination with a doctor's suit, of course, white.

I stepped foot into the lobby in the spirit of 45. The smile did not come off my lips. I was immediately directed to meet the head of the hospital. I prayed that Alfred was no longer the one I met, and my prayer this time was fulfilled.

I entered after being invited.

"Good morning sir" I said.

"Good Morning, please sit."

I rushed to occupy myself too.

"What's with Isabella's mother?"

"Well, my name is Isabella, sir."

The hospital chief's explanation was pretty clear to me. I went out to the room that was available. In front of the elevator I was astonished to see the figure of a man who was familiar to me was talking with a cellphone stuck in his ear out of the elevator. I got into the elevator.

"She," I muttered unblinkingly looking at her back before the elevator door closed tightly.
