Chapters. 22. The Soft Heart of Cotton

To get to the destination area takes 2 hours. Along the way we chose to sleep because the drowsiness in the morning is interesting.

I was at war with my heart because of Alfred and Andre. Though previously I was excited because I did not know that these two men were joining.

"Tok getting up," Yuen patted my arm to wake up.

I'm yawning.

"Have you arrived?" I'm afraid typical wake up.

"Yes, we are living in a dock that has not come down, everything has gone down and is now gathering there" Yuen said, pointing to the group that had gathered through the car window. "Let's dock before the handsome Master comes after us," Yuen asked as she helped carry my luggage.

I can see local residents have gathered on the football field that has been conjured with tents so that it can accommodate hundreds of residents from babies, toddlers to the elderly.

Before starting the task we were absent first. We have our respective duties according to the area of expertise.

Doctor Frans approached me who was daydreaming looking at the children.

"However? early in the morning, daydreaming?" oceh doctor Frans so that my daydream.

"The children were very cool laughing without any burden" I said without letting go of my gaze to some children who were joking. While some of their parents were busy securing to keep them quiet.

"Hmm it seems like doctors like children" said Frans.

"I told you not to be formal" I took a slow blow to Doctor Frans' shoulder. "Every woman loves children" I said.

"It's not good to hear because in public places" Frans said.

I chuckled softly.

"I want to go back to being a child so that there is no burden" I said.

Doctor Frans' forehead shriveled at the joke I told him.

"If we were kids, there's no way we could get to this place,"

"Are ya?" I'm laughing a little.

Without us knowing it turns out there is a figure of a man who stared intently, who else if not Alfred. Husband status is invisible to anyone here except me and Andre.

The first task is completed, there are still a few more places to visit.

Before leaving the tent I distributed chocolates one by one to the children. The chocolate I bought was meant to bring. They gladly accepted it, and even a part of me hugged me to thank. I am so full of their treatment, for me this is the most beautiful moment. I also do not forget to capture through photos and videos.

Some of the male doctors and nurses stared in amazement at what I was doing.

This is the last place for us. Before carrying out our duties we had the opportunity to have lunch, not this was past lunch because it was quite busy.

"Don't it seem like doctors don't like these foods?" yuen said she realized my gelagat which had only stirred the food on the plate.

"Yes for the time being I avoid foods containing chili," I said as I stared at Yuen who was very greedy, even that portion might not be enough for him.

"Wow how is this? while all the food contained chili," Yuen said frantically.

"It's okay Yuen, I just eat bread. It just so happened that there was a bring," I said and did not want Yuen to feel worried.

"Eating bread will not fill you, Doc,"

"In an emergency" I said a little smile.

"Is it no problem?" Yuen is still having issues.

"Let's say I'm a westerner hmm,"

"Alright," said Yuen as he chewed with his mouth full.

I brought a rice plate that I had not eaten near the boy who was alone in the corner there.

"Hi handsome," I don't forget to smile. The call made this handsome boy change the way he sat.

"Yes, Doctor" he said.

"What's your name?"

"Leon Bu doctor,"

"What a good name. Hmm, is Leon going to eat? this is Dr. Bawain's mom" I said, pointing at the plate in hand.

"Thank you Doctor, ma'am" Leon said as he gulped at the food on the plate.

Aaa....

Leon opened his mouth wide. Take the first bribe. Four-year-old Leon, the puffer boy has been an orphan since he was a baby. Leon was raised by his Uncle and Aunt.

I'm very interested in Leon. I wanted to take it with me but it all took effort. Alfred would disagree. I wanted to talk to Alfred about it, but how because I didn't want to get caught.

"Leon is full, Doctor" said Leon innocently.

"Once again, huh? it's the last bribe" I asked.

Leon seemed to understand again accepting the bribe. I'm a little surprised because Leon's a strong boy of spicy food. Even if he does not complain.

"Thank you Doctor, the food was delicious. Just this time Leon ate a good meal like this," said Leon innocently.

My chest is tight to hear Leon's confession. It's just chicken teriyaki and vegetables but for Leon this is really the most delicious food he just tasted.

After eating I took Leon to a pretty quiet place. Now we sit under a leafy tree.

"Doctor's mom has chocolate, Leon will?" I put out the rest of the chocolate in my bag.

"But Auntie said Leon's teeth rotted Doctor's mom" Leon said.

I smile. "It doesn't matter honey, as long as Leon brushes his teeth regularly," I said.

On the sidelines of our joke Alfred stepped closer because of his position in front of us. Of course it pisses me off. Our views meet.

"The doctor saw that the bird was flying with Papa and Mama" Leon said, pointing to the direction where the three birds were flying, and decided to look at Alfred.

Apparently Alfred was receiving a call, so he was looking for a quiet place.

"Is this my chance to talk to Alfred?" I muttered in my heart.

Feeling certain I mustered up the courage to talk about discussing Leon.

"Leon wait for the doctor for a minute? don't go anywhere" I said to Leon and got a nod because Leon again enjoyed my chocolate gift.

I walked over to Alfred with nervousness.

"I want to talk, do you have time?" I said.

Alfred put the phone back in his pants pocket and turned to me.

"I don't have time,"

"Just for a second because it's so important,"

"My work is more important" Alfred thoughtlessly stepped up.

"I want to adopt the boy" I said, stopping Alfred. "I want to take Leon to live with us, uh I mean stay with me. I'm just asking for permission" I said by biting my lower lip.

Alfred turned his body to face me. I could see Alfred's sour face.

"My house is not a shelter" Alfred said heartlessly. I heard it clenching my hands. I don't know where Alfred's heart is made of.

I took a long breath.

"I beg you, the child from the baby has become an orphan. His uncle and aunt took care of him. I'm attracted to the boy" I said my heart.

Alfred did not answer, apparently Alfred looked at Leon who was busy eating chocolate.

"I won't bother you and charge you for Leon's business,"

"As for you, it's none of my business" Alfred said as he left me.

"Did he allow it?" my mummy was digesting Alfred's words. "I have to talk to Uncle and Aunt Leon,"

With a glowing face Leon accepted my request. It is not difficult to bring Leon because the actual economy of Uncle and Aunt Leon's family is far said to be capable. They were also very grateful to me for willingly adopting Leon.

My coworkers nicknamed me with a soft heart as cotton because I was the first person willing to adopt a child from deepening.

We are already on the bus. Suddenly there was an announcement if before returning the group agreed to want to go to the beach. Hearing the name of the beach made my body cold hot, it even shook.
