Chapters. 98. Follow the Word of Your Heart

In the garden behind the Mansion, Gabriella is busy with her beloved laptop. I don't know what he typed from earlier that made him so focused.

The phone vibrated on the teak table, leaving Gabriella's focus distracted.

"Mama" said Gabriella.

"What's wrong with daydreaming?" ask Mama while putting a nap on the table, then thrust a glass of Gabriella's favorite juice.

Gabriella smiled as she shook her head, she dodged Mama's accusation.

"Where is Ma?"

"Again, baby, she said she wasn't feeling well."

"Papa sick?" gabriella asked with a serious face.

"Don't panic like that. It's common for parents" said Mama while rubbing the back of Gabriella's hand.

"Ma take care of your health with Papa. I don't want to hear you guys get sick" Gabriella said as she got up from her seat and moved to sit next to Mama in a hug.

"You should take care of your health, baby, you are so busy with your respective work that you ignore your own health" said Mama.

"Ma tomorrow I have to go back" said Gabriella with her head propped up on Mama's shoulder.

"Tomorrow? aren't your two weeks of work here done? how come it's back all of a sudden?" fawning Mama with frowning.

Gabriella let out a long sigh by straightening her body.

"What's up, baby? same story Mama. What's the problem at the office?" mama asked as if she was worried. "Is your sister there okay?" reemerged.

"There was no problem Ma, Abel just called me," added Gabriella.

"Mama misses the grandchildren of Mama" said Mama with a sad look.

"How about tomorrow Mama come along" said Gabriella because Mama said that.

"Can't be dear, where maybe Mama allowed Papa," said Mama.

"Papa is like a child who is always tailing and like glue" Gabriella said.

Mama chuckles little hearing Gabriella's innuendo.

"Darling hmmm how are you doing with Frans?" mama asked suddenly so that made Gabriella shocked.

"Only limited to Ma's friends," replied Gabriella was so.

Mama was silent as she looked at Gabriella.

Gabriella shook her head with a straight forward look. Not long to look back at Mama.

"Last month Frans expressed his feelings for me but I subtly refused because I only considered Frans to be a friend, my heart was not interested at all" Gabriella said. "How could my heart be interested if the name Bernard closes my heart Ma, I'm not ordinary" Gabriella wrote.

"Darling you can't keep this up. Bernard is the past that will never come back, and your future is long. Start opening your heart before you feel regret when something you're hiding has been taken away by someone else" Mama said.

Gabriella was silent as she digested every sentence Mama said.

"What is the reason you want to come back tomorrow Mama never knows but from there your heart wants something, something that you do not want to happen or want to upset it indirectly," mama knew Gabriella's heart.

"What Mama said is right, the reason I want to come back tomorrow is Andre" Gabriella said.

"Honey.we can't force your heart to accept Frans, even if Mama wants it. Frans is a fine man" said Mama while rubbing the beautiful mane of Gabriella's hair.

"Mama...."

"Follow your heart dear," said Mama while gently rubbing the back of Gabriella's hand. "Don't look back constantly because the one behind only lives the memories of the past that never came back" he added with a smile.

Gabriella was silent again digesting Mama's words.

"Mama's right," he said as if he understood now.

"Get your happiness, baby. You can't open your heart to others because you feel so guilty about Bernat. Guilt with love is different" Mama said once again, making Gabriella understand now. "Every parent wants their children to be happy including Mama really wants you to live happily and have a partner each because Mama and Papa are getting older," said Mama.

"Who says Mama and Papa are old, even you are getting younger," teased Gabriella as she hugged Mama spoiled.

"Young bet? it should be so dear hmmm.

Gabriella nodded with a bright smile. It makes Mama feel relieved because Mama believes Gabriella has understood enough.

"Remember to follow what your heart says" Mama's message before they step into each other's rooms.

In a cafe two men with good looks were undoubtedly sitting opposite each other. The two seemed to be chatting about something serious.

"Andre why did you decide to leave this country? haven't your achievements been accomplished?" fawning questions posed by doctor Frans to Andre who was sipping coffee that still issued smoke billowing.

"Oh so! How do you feel about Gaby? didn't you reveal it before you left?" frans' question of course made Andre avert his eyes.

"Don't joke, aren't you two lovers now. I can't take Gaby away from you Frans, although I don't deny my feelings for her but you're the man she deserves more than her" Andre said, smiling bitterly. His words did not match his heart.

Doctor Frans developed a smile, then tensed his body.

"The woman we both like and even love does not accept my feelings Andre, last month I ventured to express my feelings to her but what I expected was not appropriate, he rejected my love on the grounds that his heart was still closed to his past. He couldn't accept me Andre" said Frans' doctor with a sad look. Truly the woman who broke her heart could not accept her sincere love.

"If you feel," said Dr. Frans as he sipped his coffee until the toilet. "Follow your heart, Andre, we both struggle to melt the heart of the woman who is our target, before the regret that comes because the opportunity will not continue to repeat itself," said Dr. Frans at length. Then not long after he passed to return to his workplace, while Andre looked up at every sentence that the doctor said Frans.
