Chapters. 9. Wants to Work

As usual I woke up before sunrise. Cleaning a house this big and preparing breakfast for myself because Alfred never had breakfast and ate at home.

It had been a week passed with a bitter taste to receive Alfred's harsh treatment. But during this week he did not use his hands to torture myself but harsh and condescending words should not be asked again.

The woman he calls wife I've never seen here. Or was she on vacation, that's what I thought. And to ask about it I have no intention at all because it is none of my business, which is there I will wake a starving lion if it interferes with his personal affairs.

Like this morning I used to sit at the dinner table with a piece of toast and a glass of milk. These are all materials I bought with my own savings. Yeah Alfred didn't make a living for me and I didn't expect that either. For now I use my savings to meet my needs, before getting a job.

Today I would like to apply for a job in a hospital according to my area of expertise, but I do not know where I will apply. For this time I will not use the name January so that I am accepted purely according to my ability sat interview later.

"Good morning Miss," suddenly the arrival of Andre broke my daydream at the dinner table.

Andre was silent without asking again, maybe he was aware of my relationship and Alfred like a stranger.

"Do you want breakfast? let me prepare," I asked Andre.

"Thank you Miss but I've had breakfast" Andre said subtly.

"Andre can sit for a minute? I wanted to ask," I said beginning to express my wish, this is an opportunity for me to talk to Andre since I rarely meet.

Andre looked at me with a frown, but it was disrespectful to refuse Andre to obey my orders. Andre was sitting right in front of me.

"What does Miss want to talk about? if you want to talk about Master I will not answer," said Andre who made my mood upset.

"What is my advantage in talking about the wolf" I said, exasperatingly.

"Let's talk Miss," Andre protested at my swearing.

"Reality right?" I murmured but still could be heard Andre.

I took a breath and slowly breathed.

"I want to find a job, can you help me?. Which hospitals need medical personnel?" I asked Andre.

Andre looked at me with both hands folded.

"Many," said Andre very strongly who provoked my frustration, does talking a little at length harm him? that's what I had in mind.

"Can you give me one of those hospital addresses?" I really hope this cold guy helps a little bit because I'm not from this country.

"Andre did I teach you anything unimportant?" suddenly the sound of the baritone rising interrupted our conversation, even Andre had not had time to answer.

Andre immediately stood up and approached Alfred.

"Good morning, sir. I'm sorry" Andre said with respect.

I was surprised to see Andre's respectful attitude towards Alfred. The treatment was like my brother Moses' assistant. Though they were equal positions but as if Andre was Alfred's subordinate. There are so many puzzles that I can't guess and it took me a long time because I don't have anyone here.

Alfred glanced at me, I was also coincidentally staring at him. I don't know why my heart said this morning it wanted to see that cold expression. At once as fast as lightning we both throw our faces.

"Let's go, there's no point in lingering here" Alfred's insinuation made me growl.

"Wait, I want to talk for a second," I gathered up the courage to stop them. However, I had to talk about this because the advice of both my parents was ringing.

Alfred turned his body and looked straight at me with his sharp eyes.

"To you is not important but to me it is very important" I said as I moved from the chair.

Alfred looked angry, even the look of a face that was actually handsome now like a demon.

"Andre wait for me in the car" Alfred said without changing his gaze to me.

"Okay sir," Andre passed leaving us both.

"Don't waste my precious time!" Alfred was still staring at me sharply.

I gulped, and I was afraid to face the wolf man.

"I want to work something.....,"

"No need to tell me, isn't that better?" Alfred immediately cut off my unresolved remarks. Without even hearing Alfred pass by and leave me.

I slumped at the foot of the stairs with tears in my eyes. What a life I lived after marriage changed 180 degrees.

Satisfied with crying I got up to the room to prepare myself. My resolve is already unanimous about finding a job. I want to mingle with outsiders so that the rigors of this life are a little passed. Alfred did not care at all what I was doing because the threat was tied to me so I was his prisoner.

Inside car.

"Andre did the woman talk about work?" ask Alfred before Andre runs the car.

"Yes, sir, Miss asked me a question" Andre said.

"Then what did you say?" Alfred asked again as he rubbed his temple.

"Miss wants to apply at the hospital. I said a lot of vacancies but did not have time to say which hospital because of the hunt you cut our conversation," said Andre.

"No need for you to tell me, let him try himself" Alfred said, not liking Andre's actions.

"Is this not outrageous sir?"

"Andre once again you dare to defend him, put your feet up right now! You forgot what he was doing? I lost a very meaningful person in my life because of her, because of that lady!" Alfred's maki's voice made Andre's face pale.

"I'm sorry, sir,"

"Road!" Tell Alfred without responding to Andre's apology.

"He will pay. I will slowly make his life reluctant to die reluctantly," Alfred sat in anger.

On Alfred's way to check flat objects, many emails went into work problems.

"Andre did you do as I told you?" Alfred broke the silence.

"Have you this morning" said Andre as if he knew what Alfred's question meant.

"Nothing is missed,"

"Beres Sir. Except for the bathroom and walk-in closet according to your orders," explained Andre.

Alfred muttered while thinking something.

"Hmm take care of everything not to let this problem be known by anyone including the family of January. I don't want everything to be uncovered before this grudge is avenged" Alfred said.

"Sir, should we re-investigate?" andre's proposal immediately made Alfred stare sharply in the rearview mirror.

"All is clear Andre. For 2 years I was like a madman looking for this woman who was deliberately covered up in her case, and saw God side with me. The lady* it came by itself," Alfred was furious. "It turns out the world is so narrow" he chuckled, laughing at the victory that sided with him.

Andre was speechless and did not dare to comment again because he knew who Alfred was. A man he thinks is hard and can't be denied.
