Part 54's. Revenge 1's
Their suspicions could not be dispelled in a short period of time. Evidently then Auntie also called me that someone was looking for Emma.
They checked it into New Jersey.
"They seem to believe. From their talk, we seem to be safe today." Colin concluded what the team reported.
"I think so, we have to survive this month or so. When they find out they're being watched, and the ship isn't docked or they dump the payload, all our efforts are wasted."
Now sit down and have dinner with Colin. I'm from the office, still dressed in an office outfit, 'cause I thought we were just regular dinners. He's also still in a work shirt.
But the restaurant he chose was quite pampering the eyes. Whiskey Red's at Marina Del Rey, a seafood restaurant with an eye-indulgent view of the marina. We arrived at 7pm, the sky was not yet dark because the sun had just set for half-eight nights. Great view.
"It's a beautiful restaurant, thanks for bringing me here."
"Thank you for dinner last night." I laughed, she thought home-cooked food was special.
"It's just a home-cooked meal."
"For me it's delicious."
"All right, it's up to you. You loaned your apartment to me for no pay. It can't be paid. I feel you're too good."
"If we discuss this won't be finished until tomorrow, what if we order food instead."
"Agreed."
I prefer to be quiet and enjoy the view. Looking at the passing sailboats in the marina for the not-so-large ship next to us with a view of the sunset.
Colin's gaze was fixed on one person. I followed the direction of his view.
"Yes, that's right, he. Let it go."
But wait a minute, if there's him there's a boss around here. Only then did I think so, when my gaze hit someone who stepped onto my desk.
"Emma, surprise to see you here." Gerrald Herron is in front of me now. This time there was no woman beside him.
"Gerald... Just having dinner with my girlfriend." He looked at Colin with a look of disdain.
"Love? Apparently so, even though you could be my lover."
"You have business here." Now Colin's responding.
"Who are you, psychologist? You didn't know the marina over there had my family." Why is this person acting like he is the ruler of the world. Like his father who thought my father's life was just a piece of paper that could be burned.
"I don't want to have an arrogant lover like you, why are you bothering us, you're not clear I'm not responding to you."
"Compulsive woman. You saw what I could do to you." These narcissistic men may need to be taught a lesson.
"What can you do is show off how much money your father has."
"Emma! Never mind. Gerald forgive him, he's just too provoked by emotions. He didn't mean to say that." Suddenly Robert apologized to me.
"Gerald, why are you defending him. You're ignorant. I taught you." He hit Robert in the head like a lowly employee. Robert accepted without a fight. I'm the one who's heating up seeing his behavior.
I'm moving forward now, but Colin pulled my hand.
"Emma! We're going." He pressed his tone while looking at me and pulled my hand quickly. I know what that means, but I'd love to knock her teeth out.
"You don't know what you're rejecting an arrogant woman." He's pointing at me right now, making me want to vouch for him right now.
