"I never regretted refusing you. You think you're a diamond mine. Your diamond is worthless in front of my eyes."
"We cancelled our order." Colin pulled me to follow him and held my hand tightly. I have to follow him to the car.
"What's wrong with hitting him once. Don't you see how he treats other people?! Someone has to beat him up!"
"Later you're gonna send him to jail, be patient, you don't see Robert defending you that way. You have to be patient, you can retaliate for. Robert can be patient with you, he tells you to leave, in a month you can get back at him and Robert will be willing to help you dismantle his network because he's hurt to be treated that way." Now I'm quiet. Robert was good to me. I should call him and say thank you.
"I imagine how to beat up a rich kid by myself with my hands."
"Sending him to jail is better, you know what the supplier's and supplier's punishment is, it won't be less than 25 years even if they're willing to pay everyone."
I took a long breath. Alright. It would be better to wait for him to lose.
But then two men who seemed like his bodyguards were seen also coming out of the restaurant following us.
"The two men, why do they seem to be following us."
"I don't know. We'll let it go. Let's just say we don't know. Seems he's still wondering where you live?
"Get in the car. Let's just leave this place." We drove off immediately, it turned out to be true after a while it seemed they were following us.
"What are we going to do."
"They want to know where you live now. Gerrald Herron was apparently very offended to be ignored."
"He's a crazy narcissist. How we avoid it."
"What's wrong. We'll have the grave for the night, I'm hungry, let him wait for us for dinner. We'll take him to play with the cats or we'll take him to friends at the gym let them beat him up." Colin doesn't even seem distracted right now.
"so."
"Yes so."
Finally we had a quiet dinner with no interruptions. The people who followed us were still following, they were indeed tasked with knowing where I live now.
"Let's play with the cats. It's been a long time since I've honed my driving skills." Now he's making it like a game.
"You sure?"
"of course. Fasten your seat belt. We're driving practice." I laughed in response, he gasped, I volunteered to be his navigator. He's staying away from where we live.
"Right turn. We're gonna have a lot of red lights and a chance to mess up the turn in front of there."
"It's fun, isn't it."
"Yes this is fun." Following his quick turns, looking back, holding his breath sometimes screaming in suspense. But we managed to eliminate them from the back of our car.
"It seems your training hasn't rusted yet." I praise him while laughing now. "We managed to disappear. I looked back after we managed to get away from a black range rover.
"Want to work out at the gym for a while? You can satisfy the beat there, it's only eight o'clock they're still open. We're close to the gym. You're going through your training program?"
"Sometimes I'll skip if I want to relax a little." I admit it while grimacing and laughing now.
"I thought you'd say that."
"I don't want to practice, how about we just go home, I need to rest maybe while chatting. I seem to have a case tomorrow, there is already a notice to come early and bring a travel bag. Tomorrow it seems I will be sent out of town. It's also good that I can disappear for a while." Colin's going back to London. I can offer her my feelings back to her.
"It's only been a month, promise me you'll try to avoid every problem, you're close to a solution."
"You've reminded me so many times Senior, that taking care of everything from London here, I won't let you down."
I kissed her cheeks in gratitude. He looked at me, it seemed to me surprised I kissed him on the cheek. When else can I kiss her like this. I can only consider him a too good brother.
Only brother.
