Part 8's. Tara Suprise! I See You's.
I'm waiting for Thomas' car to move back. I wonder where he lives in NY. Who her? That's all that matters.
It was almost night time at 7, I followed him, unable to follow the rules of one car in the back. Because I don't have a GPS guide I followed him sometimes too closely I guess, until I realized he might have noticed I was following, he'd turn around a lot, I don't want my identity to be exposed either so I decided it was better to stay away.
I already have his identity profile, I can investigate it in other ways. I turned and took another path. I better avoid. I'll probably see him again, I guess. We target the same people.
Hungry, I then stopped by a Mexican restaurant I frequented.
I was finishing my fajitas and salad when someone sat in front of me.
Thomas. My eyes looked at him in front of me. While she smiled at me.
How could he follow me back!? I quietly looked at him. Am I that stupid, or is he too different from me.
"Hello Tara's. Suprise, good to see you again." He's still smiling at me. "looks good. Do you eat here often? I'm hungry, too." He calmly sat in front of me.
He dared to appear here, somehow he realized we might be targeting the same person. First he caught me watching Charlie Herron now I'm watching Dench who has something to do with Charlie Herron.
He doesn't know who I am yet, but he may have the ability to know who I am. Looks like he's convinced we're on the same side, maybe he wants to find my motivation.
"Why are you here?" I'm asking the first question.
"Why are you following me?"
"I'm not following you." He's quiet for a second. Weighing words.
"You wonder why I'm following Hans Dench? Let's just open the card now, you're following Hans Dench. Last time you saw me was watching Charlie Herron. You know we shouldn't be on opposite sides."
"You're not a US citizen, are you?" He has to answer my question first.
"US citizens? Indeed not. You knew right away I wasn't a U. S. citizen, you had access to data? But the way you stalk is so ugly, you can't stalk." He's telling me and laughing at me sucks. I'm not a field agent. I'm a Behavioral Analysis Unit, working by talking in front of suspects, analyzing behavior.
"No, I'm just here to buy you dinner, I'm hungry too. I'm okay." He's playing pull with me right now. Be kind to get information.
He ordered his own food now. I let it go, maybe it's true that he and I are on the same side. And it seems that he is really hungry.
"You want to order something, I'll pay, first meeting I can't buy you, but this is our second meeting. I consider this luck now." He smiled, his smile was attractive. This guy is handsome. And he seems to know how to use it.
"You're a sweet mouth. All right, I want a dessert." I accept it, at least he already knows we both have the same target.
I ordered whatever I wanted, he paid for our food.
"The restaurant is delicious. I'll be back if I get through here." He ate voraciously, and didn't seem to feel threatened by me.
"Have been here long?" I'm trying to figure out her citizenship. She has no accent, her NY accent is good. If he's not a US citizen but doing spying activities in the US, I think he's a government person who knows which government, he immediately guessed I had access to data. He is familiar with the system.
"Not yet." He answered me while eating. "But I'm here a lot. I was starving, just had coffee. Long time he's been in that cafe, I better eat first."
"Why are you following him."
"Hmm he's doing bad things. You don't know?" Bad thing, I think the whole Herron family is doing all the bad things behind the scenes. It was already in their blood.
"What kind of thing?"
"Aren't you supposed to know better?" He even asked me. He's got information about what Dench did, but his record at us is clean. I can't scrape him if I can't give him an advantage. The question is whether it is safe to give him information.
"Your passport?" He dared to show his passport. She smiled a little.
"The way it works can't be so beautiful Miss Tara, if that's your real name. I can't show you my passport. If I show you my passport then you have to show me your ID. If I offer you information you should also offer information. I should be able to trust you. And we can work together. So tell me do you want to take down Charlie Herron? If you and I can work together." He went straight to the offer.
