Ning Faza's Longing

The next day, Ning Faza felt restless for not seeing Zayn as he usually did. Though Ning Faza had already told one of the sons santri to look for him in the dormitory, In class up to the field.

Unable to hold back her feelings any longer, Ning Faza went to the estate to look for her. But He also did not find Zayn there, It was not sad not to see Zayn dwelling in his heart.

And it was seen by Ustadz Andan who had since noticed his future wife.

"Is it appropriate for a woman to miss another man while her future husband is nearby?"

Ning Faza was surprised and looked back.

Then Ning Faza lowered his head looking at Ustadz Andan who was already standing in front of him.

"What's wrong with Dek Faza, Why is it that since I got to know Zayn, Dek Faza seems to forget the boundaries between men and women?"

"Sinduism is not like the dawn prayer that can choose between two choices, We want to stay asleep or wake up to pray, We want sin or reward. How many times did Faza not want to miss but the heart still misses him."

"Dek Faza is aware of what Dek Faza is saying?" tanya Ustadz Adnan did not believe.

Faza again replied with his cold attitude,

“And the one who dies because of longing, even against the one whom he should not miss (not mahram) such as (men) longing for (women), or vice versa, on condition 'iffah (keeps himself from maksiat) even to take care of himself if he is alone with his loved ones then he does not cross the boundaries of sharia & with hidden happiness even against the missed though.” (Al-Bajuri in Ibn Qasim Al-Ghazali)"

Ustadz Andan was stunned to hear Ning Faza say, His heart felt pierced by a thousand daggers to hear his future wife talk about longing to other men.

Faza left Ustadz Adnan and returned to his home.

Until the front door step stopped to see Abi was sitting in the guest room.

"Faza.." said Abi while taking off his glasses.

Heartbroken with half-running Faza approached Abinya and sat under his feet.

Then Faza put his head on the lap of the Abi with a feeling that he himself could not control.

"What's the matter, Faza, why are you sad?"

"Abiii's... Do you feel guilty if you miss someone?"

"Jawab Abi."

"When a person is not a mahram and has never met him then it is tantamount to jihad and get a reward. And love, love is not a sin. The sin is to do the filth behind that love."

"How about Faza..."

"Assalamualaikum Mr. Kiai."

"Wa'alaikumsalam."

Faza's speech came to a halt when someone santri suddenly came.

"Yes" said Mr. Kiai.

"There was Habib Umar and his family."

"God's Cause, Is it, Where Are They?"

"They just arrived at the boarding school, I'm here so that Mr. Kiai is ready to welcome him."
