Prophet shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said:

“Verily the practice which will first be reckoned from men on the Day of Resurrection from their practices is prayer. Then Allah Ta’ala said to his angel and He knew all things better.

Look to you at the prayer of My servant, Is it perfect or has a lack? If his prayer is perfect, it will be recorded for him a perfect reward.

However, If there are some shortcomings in his prayer, then see to you whether My servant has the practice of the Sunnah prayer? If he has the prayer of the Sunnah, then complete the reward for My servant because of the prayer of the sunnah he did. Then other practices are almost the same as that.” (CHR. Abu Dawood).
