Competing Love With Ustadz
Proposal

After praying istikharah, Adnan has determined to accept Mr. Arsyad's offer to marry Sakinah. He also expressed his intention to both parents to accelerate the goodwill.

Nisa who already so wants her son to get married would be happy with Adnan's decision. No exception with Rudi who had always considered marriage to be half of worship, so he did not mind at all with the sudden decision Adnan took.

"So you agree too?" ask Adnan to make sure.

"Why not, a married person is considered to have perfected his worship. Marriage is considered half worship. This corresponds to the hadith which reads:

"Whoever marries, he has perfected half of his worship (his religion). And he shall fear Allah SWT in keeping the rest." (CHR. Thabrani and Judge)

The main purpose of marriage in Islam is to keep the commandments of Allah. This also corresponds to the Qur'an verse which reads:

"Take care of those who are among you, and of those who are worthy (married) of your men and of your women servants. If they are poor, God will enable them with His gift. And Allah is the All-Aware (His Gift), the All-Knowing." (QS. An-Nur Verse 32)

Hearing what his father said, Adnan smiled and became more convinced by the decision he made.

After a conversation with his parents. Adnan also called Mr. Arsyad to confirm his whereabouts. The work of Mr. Arsyad who always went out of town made Mr. Arsyad rarely at home so Adnan had to make an appointment first before bringing his parents to express his good intentions.

"For these three days I've been home, so come whenever you want, No need to wait for private lessons" Mr. Arsyad said without asking why Adnan asked that question.

"Alright, then later tonight let the atmosphere be more relaxed" said Adnan.

"All right, we'll wait."

"Thank you, Assalamualaikum."

"Wa'alaikumsalam."

After the phone call ends. Adnan approached his father and mother to ask what he needed to prepare to propose to Sakinah.

"I've made an appointment with Mr. Arsyad if we're coming tonight, what do I need to get ready in a few hours?" asked Adnan in a bit of embarrassment.

Nisa smiled calmly at the question and looked at her son's face. "You don't have to worry about it all, leave it to me, I'll take care of everything and it'll be done before nightfall. You're just getting ready to get married."

Hearing that Adnan nodded and felt calm.

Night Day 🌙

Adnan and both parents and some of the closest neighbors reached Sakinah's house with some of the shipment such as the Qur'an and a set of prayer tools, jewelry sets. Suits, clothes,

Makeup, Bags, Footwear and some traditional foods and modern foods.

Sakinah who heard the sound of a car stopping in front of the house not just once, immediately ran to the balcony to see who came. He who did not know at all about this proposal frowned when he saw everyone get out of the car with a parcel in each hand without having seen Adnan who had first entered go inside.

"Will Papah match me?" inner Sakinah who immediately ran down confirmed her conjecture. But only up the stairs, his footsteps stopped when he saw Adnan was also in the middle of the group.

Sakinah who has not worn her hijab immediately intends to return to the top. But his presence has been realized by Adnan and his entourage to make Sakinah become nervous and misbehaved when all eyes are on him.

"E... Pardon me" said Sakinah scratching her non-itchy neck.

"Well, why not wear your hijab" whispered Mr. Arsyad approaching his daughter.

"I don't know if there's Ustadz Adnan, I think Papah brought another troupe to match me with Papah's friend as he already has."

"You're ashamed, what if Ustadz Adnan and his parents changed their intentions after seeing you like this?"

"What! So Ustadz Adnan is gonna propose to me?" ask Sakinah for joy.

"Hssst! Shut up, don't be ashamed Papah, Now quickly change your clothes and wear your hijab, Lagian from earlier Papah told me to change clothes do not want to massage!"

"Lah Papah didn't say that Saki wanted to lammar Ustadz handsome, if you say that Saki immediately move." Sakinah raises both eyebrows teasing her Papa.

Mr. Arsyad just shook his head at his daughter's ridiculous behavior.

Meanwhile, Adnan and his entourage just looked at the father and son without knowing what they were talking about.
