Julliane hummed in the hallway towards Ellaine's room. He wanted to relax with his sister today to forget the fatigue caused by the three main character candidates. His steps came to a halt as soon as he saw Beckett intercepting him at the door leading to the main palace. Although Julliane did not reply to his letter, she still came. A snorting sound rang out from Julliane's mouth.
Even though I refused, he still came here.
"Good morning, Princess Julliane. Do you want to spend time with me?" Beckett reached out to Julliane to be a companion.
"Sorry, I can't. I have an appointment with Ellaine, Prince Beckett," Julliane said.
"Ah, Princess Ellaine is having a guest. While waiting I can accompany you, Princess." Beckett smiled triumphantly.
Julliane. His brain was spinning hard to figure out how to avoid Beckett. There were some that crossed his mind. Test Beckett's powers.
"Then I would like to see your skill in archery and swordsmanship, Prince. If you succeed in impressing me, I'll respond to your request" Julliane said with a sly smile.
"Alright, I agree," Beckett replied steadily.
I'm sure this one Prince can't do anything. He just likes to rule.
They arrived at the training ground. Beckett took the bow and arrow.
"You must not give off an aura, Prince. Then you have to hit the center of the target there three times" Julliane explained, raising her three fingers.
"All right, I agree." Beckett nodded slowly as he stretched his bowstring. He pointed his arrow while feeling the wind blowing.
Julliane standing beside him noticed that this prince was not cheating.
Beckett threw out his arrows. The arrow shot out at the center of the target.
It must be luck.
However, Julliane's conjecture was wrong. The arrow continued to be launched until it was stuck five times, exceeding Julliane's request. Even the greatest warrior can only do it twice. Julliane gaped at this.
Julliane saw the leader of the palace army who was training alone. The other soldiers were practicing sparring with their friends. No one was willing to fight against the leader of the palace army, as his strength was equivalent to the strength of ten warriors.
It's a good chance to beat Beckett.
Julliane approached the man who was going to save her. "Sir, do you want to practice a match with Prince Beckett?
The Leader of the Force halted his training seeing Beckett and Julliane in turn. He smiles. "By pleasure, Princess."
These two sword experts fought each other fiercely. The other soldiers stopped their training, seeing the intense fight of the leader of the palace army and the Prince of Lortamort Kingdom.
Prangs....
One of the swords fell down. Beckett's sword was beside the neck of the Palace Squad Leader. The audience there cheered with excitement.
"You are indeed great, Prince Beckett," praised the Leader of the Palace Army.
Beckett approaches Julliane who is still stunned to see her plan fail.
The Main Character Candidate is great. I misstep.
Julliane regrets her decision. Beckett passed all the exams of Julliane. Julliane kept her promise.
"Alright, I'll spend time with you, Prince."
"Thank you, Princess."
Beckett thrust out his arm. Julliane's hand came to a halt as soon as she heard the commotion going on around there. Everyone who was at the training ground turned to a silver-haired man who was walking towards Julliane and Beckett.
"The wound is gone."
"Magic is sure."
"It's so handsome."
The whispers were heard loudly in Julliane's ears. Julliane was proud her student was no longer insulted. His lips smiled at Ian's arrival. He had not expected Ian to come this fast.
Ian greeted Julliane by kissing her hand. "It's good to see you, Princess Julliane."
Julliane received her greeting. Julliane's eyes glanced at the furious Beckett. Ian did not greet Beckett. Beckett's existence is not considered by Ian.
"There's something important I want to talk about Princess. We better get to a quiet place" Ian said.
Julliane nodded quickly. With Ian, he can be free from Beckett's interference.
"You promised to spend time with me, Princess Julliane" Beckett said.
"It turns out you're here, Prince Beckett. I don't see you" Ian said in a mocking tone.
"What?" Beckett gritted his teeth loudly while clenching his hands.
Ian looked at Beckett sharply. He approached her as if he wanted to challenge her. Before there was a commotion Julliane mediated them.
"I'm sorry, Prince Beckett, but today you came without getting any recompense from me. So, Prince Ian has more right to spend time with me" Julliane said as she embraced Ian's arm. Ian was not at all worried, he smiled. His heart was happy.
"Did he bring your reply, Princess?" point Beckett at Ian.
Ian took out a letter from Julliane. He was on guard to bring him so as not to be suspected by the palace guards.
Beckett stared at the letter Ian was holding full of annoyance. He clucked, turning away from the field with galloping steps.
