Cursed Daughter Looking for a Mate

Cursed Daughter Looking for a Mate
Chapter 52 Meeting

"Are you okay, Juli?" ask the man in the black hood.

Ian's Voice.

"Why can you be here I-"

The sting on Julliane's head came back. Views circling. His body almost returned. Ian held onto Julliane tightly.

Worried about the state of Julliane, Ian dizzy looking for his subordinates. There was one caught in Ian's eyes. Without a sound Ian said the word "umbrella". The subordinate shrugged not knowing what the master said, their distance was too far to read Ian's mouth. Ian swung his free hand up and displayed the shade cloth and held the air as if he was holding the handle of an umbrella. His subordinates immediately bought an umbrella.

Ian led Julliane to a nearby seat there. "Wait here for a second, Juli."

Julliane nodded without making a sound, her body very tired. Ian slowly disappeared behind the crowd of people who passed by.

Julliane snorted, suddenly there was a person standing beside her paddling her.

"It's an order, Crown Prince Ian. Sorry for my sassness, Princess Julliane," the man said before Julliane asked further.

During this time Julliane did not bring servants or bodyguards anywhere because she did not want to feel being watched. However, it turned out that there was a point in bringing in subordinates.

Before long, Ian came up with a long loaf of bread that appeared bashfully from a paper bag. He offered a baguette and a bottle of milk to Julliane.

"Eat, July."

Julliane was a little confused. Tired of not being able to sleep for a few days at the thought of his engagement to Beckett, all he needed was rest instead of food.

"I'm not hungry, Ian."

Ian's subordinate chuckled, hearing his master being rejected. Ian stared hard and threw himself away. Of course, the umbrella he bought was given to Ian.

Seeing the disappointment on Ian's face, Julliane finally grabbed the bread and milk. "Can't waste food."

Julliane devoured the bread. There was no taste, but it was delicious. His headache began to go away. He remembered that his lunch was missed today. Breakfast was not spent because Julliane did not feel at home will awkwardness occur at the dining table. Leroy and Ophelia blame Julliane for Ellaine's departure, in return they do not help Julliane. Well, Julliane didn't think much of it because she didn't expect anything on them.

Ian observed Julliane eating her food while smiling to herself. The black spot on the girl's temple disturbs Ian's vision. He drew his hand closer to remove the stain.

"Don't move there's a black stain on your temple, July."

Afraid that Ian was aware of the tattoo on his face that might be visible because he had been dressing himself in a hurry this morning, Julliane turned away quickly. His hand reflexively shook Ian's hand.

Ian was surprised to have his hand brushed off, he just wanted to help Julliane. His face was wrinkled with annoyance and disappointment.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to take your hand off. It's just a mole" Julliane explained.

"I've never seen a mole on your face" Ian squinted his eyes in suspicion. During this time he often observed Julliane's face and did not see a single point that looked like a mole on the princess' smooth skin.

"Fly head can appear on its own, right?" Julliane continues to convince Ian with her wry answer.

Ian was silent still looking for lies from Julliane's mouth. Inwardly, Julliane prayed that Ian would believe her lie. Ian distanced his body, short-sighted still holding an umbrella.

"Well, I'll forgive you, just as long as you forgive me." Ian grinned triumphantly.

I'm stuck.

Julliane let out a long sigh, admitting her defeat. "Okay, I'm sorry. How do you know I'm starving?"

Julliane's heart jumped as if it wanted to get out of her throat, because of the attitude of Ian who approached her blatantly.

"My mom used to diet, her head was as dizzy as you were" Ian explained.

"I'm not on a diet. By the way, why did you get here Ian? Isn't it forbidden by your parents?"

"There's a man who replaced me at the palace. We used a magic stone to change his face the same as mine, so my father and mother wouldn't notice."

Julliane widened her eyes. He did not expect Ian to trick his parents into coming here.

"I heard you were engaged to Beckett" continued Ian as Julliane fell silent.

"Yes, but I want to cancel it. I've been looking for Beckett's secret that I can use but it's useless."

The cheerful and confident face of Julliane that Ian had always seen now looked extremely tired. Ian could not bear to see Julliane continue to push herself.

"You rest in the palace, I'll take care of Beckett."

"But-"

Ian cut in before Julliane reasoned more. "There's no buts. Come here again tomorrow, July. There will be new information."

In the end Julliane complied with Ian back to his carriage. Ian's headed to one of the bars. His steps stopped in the secret room, where the men who wore all black clothes gathered.

Two days ago when Ian arrived at the Yuvinere Works, Ian gathered members of the special forces to find out when Jullianne had left the palace. And the time is today. Ian waited for Julliane on the path the horse-drawn carriage could pass from the direction of the noble residence the girl had visited. There's no way Ian could have met him at the palace because he could have met Beckett. There can be a bad scandal because Ian met Julliane who already has a fiancee. Worse, the news could spread to the kingdom of Constain. He will be asked to go home, Julliane and Beckett's engagement until it continues to the wedding, Ian will languish.

"Invade into the Kingdom of Lortamort. Look for information about Prince Beckett, his past, his activities in the kingdom of Lortamort, especially his dark secrets. Hurry on!" Ian's orders.

All the members of the special forces prostrated. "Okay, Your Majesty."

They immediately carry out their duties.

There was something in Ian's heart. Something important. His hand slapped his forehead.

How could I forget about saying the words I've been practicing for days?

"Why don't you eat your lobster, Ian?" ask the Queen who is worried. His son did not touch any food.

"I don't taste, Mother," Mikael replied trying to smile.

In fact, Mikael did not want to waste food, especially expensive foods like lobster. However, what is the power he is allergic to marine animals.

"Isn't that your favorite food?" ask King.

The King and Queen felt that the person sitting before them felt very foreign. The gaze continued to be on Mikael who was still looking at the lobster in horror.

'You never said you liked this damned animal, Your Majesty, ' Mikael grumbled in his heart.

Not wanting to be suspected further, Mikael took the lobster meat with a fork and put it in his mouth.
