Chapter 9 The Abductor Interrogation

Edgar spurred his horse to follow Julliane. His first brother's strange behavior. He was afraid that his first brother was too rash to look for his second brother alone without the slightest escort. Not knowing how much his brother's spirit power was, or how many members of the plot who kidnapped Ellaine worried him. He was afraid that his first brother would be kidnapped.

Edgar parked his horse in one of the trees as soon as he saw Julliane's carriage stop. He followed his brother without making a sound. Without Edgar's help his brother had defeated the kidnappers. However, her heart was still not calm before her brother came out safely. 

He walked into the hut and found one of the kidnappers hiding to attack his brother. Edgar's clenched hand was ready to hit the kidnapper, but water whipped the kidnapper's head until his body was slammed. Unfortunately, Edgar was also hit by the water attack. 

Julliane turned to look at her attacker. How surprised he found Edgar who fell on the floor while holding his cheek. He sent down Ellaine first and approached his younger brother.

"Are you okay, Edgar?" ask Julliane.

"Slightly sick but it's okay Brother Julliane." Edgar shifted his jaw to the left and right. 

"I'm sorry. I didn't know you were here either."

"It's also my fault for following Brother Julliane secretly."

"All right then. Help me lift Ellaine to the carriage." 

Julliane rose up followed by Edgar. They lifted Ellaine up to the horse-drawn carriage. Julliane turned her head to the hut earlier.

Who was the man behind Ellaine's kidnapping?

"Why Julliane's sister?"

"What are you here to ride?"

"Good horse."

Julliane asks the chariot driver to return to the palace to take Ellaine alone. He told the coachman to tell Leroy and Ophelia that Ellaine had survived. The coachman quickly put forward his carriage obeying the orders of his master. Julliane is going home with her younger brother on a horse.

Julliane turned towards Edgar who was a little confused by her brother's behavior. "Let's interrogate the kidnappers."

Edgar nodded too. They went back to that shack. The kidnappers were gathered in one place. The rope was wrapped around the kidnappers' bodies tightly. 

Julliane took a chair and sat down while adhering to them. A sense of passion filled his heart, enjoying the role he was playing right now.

It feels like in a kidnapping movie. I feel like the kidnapper.

Didn't want to wait long Edgar patted the face of one of the kidnappers. The kidnapper's eyes opened slowly. He circulated the view in the room to absorb the incident that happened to him earlier. After the memories entered his brain he tried to escape. Of course he can't because he's tied to his friends.

"Who told you to kidnap Ellaine?" julliane asked in an intimidating tone.

"I don't know" the kidnapper replied, throwing his face away.

Edgar slaps the kidnapper in the face and directs him to look at Julliane. "Quick say."

"I really don't know. Suddenly there was a letter containing the order to kidnap the royal princess accompanied by payment. That person only paid part of it, the rest will be repaid after we successfully carry out the task," I'm shaking the kidnapper.

Julliane snapped while tapping her fingers into her arms. "Is there no sender's name?"

"There's only an initials called 'O'"

"Are you telling the truth?" edgar asked as he pressed the two cheeks of the man with one hand.

The kidnapper nodded loudly. He began to fear. "Am I going to jail?"

Julliane grinned. "How do you think?"

Edgar immediately knocked the kidnapper unconscious. He turned his head to Julliane. "Do we need to confirm it with the words of another kidnapper, Brother Julliane?"

"I don't think it's necessary, just leave the rest to the palace troops. I will definitely find the mastermind of this kidnapping. Let's just go back."

They also returned to the palace. Throughout the journey many thoughts were spinning in Julliane's head.

Who is this person with the initials O? No one told who the mastermind of Ellaine's abduction was. Although the storyline of the novel is the same, there is an undisclosed truth.

Leroy had fun because his second daughter had met. Ellaine was examined by the palace doctor. She's doing fine. Ophelia was at Ellaine's side as Leroy greeted Julliane and Edgar with pride. 

"You're great. How did you find Ellaine?" ask Leroy.

"It's thanks to the spirit that told me," Julliane told a lie.

Leroy patted his son and daughter on the shoulder "You rest, you must be tired."

"Okay, Dad," Edgar and Julliane answered simultaneously.

They went back to their own rooms. Julliane who remembered something turned around again. "The kidnappers we've tied up, I can interrogate and punish them."

"Of course, they will be punished accordingly" replied Leroy growled.

Julliane continued her steps towards her room. He lay down not long asleep because of exhaustion.

The knights took the kidnappers in front of Leroy. Despite their torture, Leroy had no information about the man who ordered his daughter's abduction. Everyone says the same thing, the person with the initials O is the mastermind. The search for the mastermind of Ellaine's abduction loosens due to the problems Leroy covers up from his son and daughter, even as this quest begins to be forgotten.

Ellaine's eyes opened slowly. His head feels dizzy. His hands were held by his mother who was crying full of happiness. He was trying to remember the previous events. 

At the gate of the palace were many men who wanted to meet Ellaine. He found the guests just talking. There is no conversation that draws or leads to hatred until someone has to kidnap her. Tired, Ellaine only met three people. On the way back to the room, there was a hand that smothered his mouth. His body felt limp and his vision grew blurred. He was unconscious. After that there was no memory.

"What happened, Mother?" asked Ellaine while trying to lean on the mattress.

Ophelia explains what happened to her daughter. How the whole palace panicked and people were looking for Ellaine. Not to forget he tells the courage of Julliane and Edgar when fighting the kidnapper to save Ellaine.

Ellaine was trying to get out of her bed with difficulty. "Sister Julliane and Edgar where now, Mother?" 

Ophelia stopped and sat her daughter back in bed. "They're resting, you better recuperate before you meet them, Ellaine."

Not to be, Ellaine said. However, his desire to meet with Julliane and Edgar was granted. Both of them were actually eavesdropping from outside.  They went in to see Ellaine.

"Mom can rest now. Let us take care of Ellaine" Julliane advised Ophelia.

Ophelia nodded as she got up leaving her three children. Ellaine's smile. He bowed.

"Thank you, Brother Julliane, Edgar for saving me."

"No need to thank us, Ellaine." Julliane shook her hand.

Edgar nodded too. "Yes, Brother Ellaine."

"How about we just call with a nickname?" Advice Julliane who wants to get closer to her brothers and sisters.

"Good idea, Sister July," said Edgar.

Ellaine chuckled softly. "Well, you can call me Elle."

"Then Edgar was called Ed" Julliane added.

Laughter filled Ellaine's room. Ellaine's worries and fears about her abduction slowly dissipate.

The knights lined the training ground. They have a second daughter who will choose a new bodyguard. Everything puffed up the chest hoping to be chosen. 

Ellaine walked from knight to knight. The knight who passed down was disappointed. Almost all the knights passed. Ellaine's steps stopped. He looked at the blue-haired and green-eyed knight. Smile them. Hands thrust toward the knight.

The knight prostrated himself and kissed Ellaine's hand while swearing allegiance to her.

"I'm Carlos Illian going to serve the Princess."

Carlos looked up smiling towards his master. The man who took her from the slums.

And elsewhere.

"Stop complaining like that every day. I'm tired of hearing it" said Letta who was tired of hearing Julliane's grunts.

Julliane sorted through her letter. Every day a letter of visit came to him. He was getting bored especially the man who approached him did not fit his criteria at all. The spoiled Beckett, Kyler's fury, is different is Lioney did not come, despite giving a letter and being reciprocated by Julliane. The gift delivery replaced Lioney's absence. These three main character candidates were unyielding approaching Julliane. While other men he did not know had been removed because it really did not attract Julliane.

Julliane sent Beckett a letter to see him. He hopes Beckett's attitude begins to change. However, Julliane's conjecture was wrong.
