Chapter 19 The Spreader of Fear

Kyler came to the palace again the next day. He did not accept what happened yesterday. A man must look strong and must not be trampled on by his pride by women. Julliane has hurt the self-esteem that Kyler has built. With a furious step Kyler walked into the palace.

In the hallway to the concubine's palace, Kyler meets Ian who is already waiting for him. Kyler just went through it because there was a more important need.

"It turns out you're a coward, Kyler."

Hearing Ian's ridicule, Kyler immediately turned around. Ian smirked looking down at Kyler.

"What do you want, Prince Ian?" kyler said with a fury.

"Aren't you the one who challenged me to fight if we meet again? Like you're afraid of losing, I'd better just go home." Ian turned his back on Kyler.

The duke who was unable to hold back any more of his anger immediately took out his sword and charged towards Ian. The Prince manages to evade her, tripping Kyler. Kyler's down. His teeth sounded hard. He looked to the side to see Ian. Ian wasn't next to him, he was already running away from Kyler.

'Areally who is a coward?' inner Kyler.

Kyler goes after Ian. Ian stopped in front of a warehouse. The courtyard in front of the warehouse was very spacious in contrast to the narrow passageway leading to the concubine's palace. Ian was looking for a place to fight in his favor.

Kyler realizes this but is not afraid. He attacked Ian blindly. Ian fended off Kyler's entire attack. Kyler's attacks are more powerful and irregular in stark contrast to Beckett's regular and quick attacks. There's a lot of loopholes in Kyler's attack.

Ian pointed his sword at Kyler's body next to him. Kyler is overwhelmed to repel his attacks. Pushed to the ground. Ian's sword was pointing at Kyler's neck. The winner is Ian.

"I won." Ian smiled as he sheathed his sword

Still unable to accept his defeat, Kyler stands up to attack Ian. Kyler's attack contained no threat at all. It's a desperate attack. Ian who could not bear to see this sad thing immediately kicked Kyler. Kyler's body was thrown into the warehouse. The door of the barn was open from earlier. Ian approached the warehouse grabbing the doorknob.

"Have fun inside, Kyler."

Door closes. Darkness enveloped Kyler.

Previous night

Ian looked at the sky of his room. He did nothing all day. All because of Julliane. The incident on the beach continues to haunt him. In every eye he looked at only the shadow of Julliane.

The sound of knocking on the door roused him from the daydream. Ian opened the door immediately. In front of his eyes stood the person he was thinking about earlier. He kept twitching his eyes, not believing what he saw.

"Didn't you want to tell me to come in?" asked Julliane who had stood for a long time.

Ian flinched immediately to let Julliane in. "I'm sorry, Juli." He tried to contain his overflowing joy.

Julliane immediately sat down on the chair that was leaning against the wall. Ian placed himself before him with a smile.

"What's July?"

"Do you want to fight Kyler?"

Ian widened his eyes. He began to second-guess the reason Julliane asked this.

"It's better to forget it. I can't hold back my anger." Actually he wanted to humiliate Kyler for having been bothering him, but the good image in front of Julliane was more important.

"It's a pity that I want to work with you to teach him a lesson. I'll ask Edgar for help, please" Julliane immediately stood up, stepping towards the door.

Ian stopped him immediately. "Wait, July. I'll fight him."

Julliane watches Ian and Kyler fight from a distance. He came out of hiding to the warehouse. Ian waited for Julliane to finish their plan. They both look happy.

The darkness began to cover him again. Then the light began to enter the room. The door starts opening.

Kyler's out soon. He ran down the palace without noticing the people who saw him. His pride was not cared about anymore the most important thing was to immediately move away from his fear.

People were amused to see the Duke scared to get into the horse carriage. The Duke's cruelty faded away instantly. They don't have to fear Kyler anymore. Kyler quickly told the coachman to run the horse. It was shaking curled up inside.

Julliane shook her head watching this. Ian was speechless. They didn't expect Kyler to pee in her pants. This is the most embarrassing thing they've ever seen.
