Chapter 46 The Sacking

Carlos can't sleep. Ellaine's story of the three nobles plotting a monster attack horrified her. Unexpectedly, the respected nobles even did vile things for their own sake. 

Carlos's worries enveloped him as the safety of his master was not assured especially at night. The chance to kidnap his master would be even greater without strict guard. The reason many palace warriors were fired for being too timid did not reflect the attitude of a knight. 

Carlos wanted to ensure his master's condition to calm down. He arrived in front of Ellaine's room. Not wanting to disturb his master was sleeping, he did not knock on the door. 

Carlos finds Beckett and Ellaine on the balcony. One of the people who intended to harm his master. Carlos screaming. His hands clenched tightly, that one prince dared to injure his master again. But why was Ellaine silent?

"I don't need a reason to meet my fiancee. What about you, why are you here bodyguard?" beckett replied calmly.

Carlos did not answer Beckett's question, his eyes fixed on the lowered Ellaine. There is no denial, Beckett's words about their engagement are true.

"Why is the Princess getting engaged to someone like her?!" shouting Carlos.

"You did not answer my question, instead yelling at your master. Where's your dink?" Beckett approached the furious Carlos.

"I have nothing to do with you!" Carlos got rid of Beckett, then approached his master.

"Tell me that the Princess is being coerced, threatened by her! I'm gonna kick this guy out! It doesn't matter if I get fired! The Princess doesn't care about me!" carlos continued in complete denial.

Ellaine still did not want to look at Carlos. He bit his lips and closed his eyes. He wanted to shout for help, but what about the fate of the kingdom? 

"I'm engaged to Prince Beckett of my own accord, Carlos. Go back to your room" said Ellaine, full of objections.

Carlos gritted his teeth, he turned towards Beckett. "Don't joke Princess! He intended to harm the Princess with a monster attack! There's no way the Princess would be engaged to someone like her!"

Beckett shook his head while grinning. "It's true that I covered up who was behind the attack, but I never intended to hurt my fiancee."

Carlos rubbed his eyes. He looked at Ellaine with a look of disbelief. "Mr Princess was engaged to him before the attack?"

Ellaine nodded slowly. "true."

"Why not announce it?"

"We're just going to announce it on Princess Ellaine's birthday" Beckett replied.

Carlos still feels something is wrong. Everything was covered by Ellaine's silence. 

"I know there's something the Princess is hiding. I will definitely save the Princess."

"Save from what? Your actions are very suspicious, come night and night to your master's room. Don't you want to do something bad?" beckett said cynically.

Unable to hold back his anger anymore, Carlos hit Beckett. Feeling unacceptable, Beckett returned Carlos's punch. They both fight boxing, but Beckett is superior. Not wanting this fight to incriminate Carlos, Ellaine mediates them.

"Enough! Carlos go back to your room!"

Carlos's gnashing of teeth sounded loud, his master preferring an evil fiancee. Carlos turned around, slamming the door hard. Ellaine's cry was restrained, not her intention to hurt Carlos.

A hug was given to her fiance. Ellaine stiffened, she felt nothing. He's numb.

Julliane touched the tattoo that almost reached her lips. Every day he wakes up early. The time to give is getting longer, but what's the point of complaining. It's his own fault because even though he knew he shouldn't hate, he did. A long sigh rang out from Julliane's mouth.

Remember, remember, don't hate people, Olivia.

Julliane waited for the pigeons to come. He was waiting for news from Ian. Julliane sometimes hesitates, sometimes believing that Ian is her true love. 

It's been a long time, but the pigeons don't knock on the windows. Julliane headed to Ellaine's room to pass the time. Julliane's eyes felt that something was lacking. He spread his gaze to Ellaine's room looking for the flaws. Not furniture, not beauty tools.

"Why Juli?" asked Ellaine who was curious about her brother's strange behavior.

Julliane. "Where's your bodyguard, Elle?"

Ellaine's face hardened, and she fell down. "He was fired, the kingdom's finances deteriorated due to the monster attack. The knights who behaved badly were repatriated."

But, wasn't Carlos the best bodyguard among the royal knights? And in the Flower Palace novel to the end he remained Ellaine's bodyguard. Was it because I changed the story so much?

"How are you doing, Mikael?" ian asked his subordinates.

"His Majesty, thank you" replied Mikael.

Mikael's wounds are serious enough, if not taken quickly to a doctor in the capital Yuvinere may be dead. After his condition improved, Ian brought Mikael to the kingdom of Constain for recovery. The speed of recovering in the hometown is definitely faster than in a foreign country.

Mikael was downcast, actually he still wanted to know the development of the relationship Ian and Julliane, but he was released. Inevitably, he obeyed her for not wanting to burden Ian.

Ian returned to his room writing a letter to Julliane with a smile. He can't wait to receive a reply. The issue of the letter has been resolved now resolving the issue of misunderstanding between the two kingdoms.

"Right, we can't get along with the Yuvinere Kingdom. So forget it Julliane, Ian," added the Queen.

"Dian, listen to us this time. All of this is for your own good" the king said.

The words that were about to be spoken from Ian's mouth continued to be refuted by his parents. He can't do anything now. The only way is to persuade them when they are calm.
