Lionel stepped confidently into the palace. He constantly gets an invitation from Princess Julliane expecting his arrival. His pride was even higher because there was no man Princess Julliane had invited before like her. Moreover, the gift that he was given the head of Julliane which was originally returned, is now accepted and has been opened. No man can conquer Julliane's heart like this.
Prince Beckett and Duke Orsin too hastily approached a girl. A man must be pursued by women by pulling grooves while making a mysterious impression.
Lionel was now sitting in front of Julliane circulating a gaze to the garden of the concubine's palace. A beautiful garden that can strengthen the romance in proposing Julliane later. Lionel has already prepared the most expensive gem rings designed by a renowned jeweler. Julliane must have been impressed by this proposal and will accept it.
"Thank you for inviting me, Princess. Sorry if I have been busy for a few days. Do you like my gift?"
"I love your gifts" replied Julliane briefly.
"As soon as I also bring another gift for the Princess, but it is better that we enjoy this togetherness first."
Lionel will give it at the right moment. Romance has not been awakened at the beginning of the meeting. As time goes on, the romance will increase. Applications will be given when this romanticization is at its peak.
Julliane continued to sip her tea without noticing Lionel who started chattering at length. Lionel occasionally laughed proudly of himself who had many treasures. Julliane responded with a smile full of compulsion.
Lionel who was unaware of this instead considered Julliane's smile as an opportunity. He took out a velvet box handing it to Julliane. This First Princess stared at the new gift and Lionel in turn. Not a surprised or pleased look but saturation.
"Open the Princess. I hope you'll be happy with this gift." Lionel smiled expectantly. The plan will work.
Julliane's hand didn't touch the gift at all. He ignored Lionel and instead asked the waiter to bring him a new tea.
A change of plan was made, not wanting to waste any more time. The time is very fitting. Lionel picked up the box and opened it before Julliane's eyes. Now he prostrated to the First Princess a box containing a ring.
"Do you want to marry me, Princess Julliane?"
Julliane sighed heavily. He took the ring observing its shape in the air. Not very compatible with his taste. He put the ring back on the velvet box.
"Before that did you love me?"
"Of course I love you, Princess. We'll be a good couple."
There was no love in Lionel's words. He said it just for the formality in the proposal. Julliane's disgust for Lionel is getting unstoppable.
"Show me that you love me but not with a gift."
Lionel kisses Julliane's hand to show his love. He stroked Julliane's hand with his thumb.
"Is this enough, Princess?"
******* weight removed from Julliane's mouth. "I don't want to marry you, Lionel."
The joy that originally inhabited Lionel's heart as Julliane raised her ring instantly disappeared upon hearing this Princess's words. The words on his throat were blocked from seeing the hand of the waiter who brought the teapot. On the servant's wrist was encircled by her self-given bracelet. Lionel circulated a glance to the other servants. His earrings, necklaces, and rings were worn by the servants standing around.
Lionel dropped the box containing his ring as it hurriedly gripped the servant's hand while pointing at the red gem bracelet with another hand. "What does this all mean, Princess?"
The waiter immediately lowered his head, moving away towards his friends. He held her painful hand.
"Don't you say that my gift was well received?" lionel's voice began to rise.
"It's well received, isn't it? The evidence was used by my servants" Julliane said, full of sarcasm.
Lionel's anger is getting unstoppable. Gifts that he prepared carefully were instead worn by others. He had spent a lot of money to buy jewelry to impress Julliane. Effortless.
"Why then was it given to those lowly servants?"
"The gifts moved to me, after you handed them over. What I put on my things is up to me, of course" said Julliane, looking at the gifts the servants wore. His gaze ended on Lionel while smiling wryly.
Lionel's jaw is hardened. "Didn't you like my gifts?"
"You could say so," said Julliane indifferently as she sipped her tea.
Lionel's eyes were fixed on the necklace around Julliane's neck. When she first met, Julliane did not wear a necklace. His anger culminated in Julliane preferring cheap goods over her gifts. He immediately took the necklace and slammed it on the floor.
Julliane's eyes widened to see her necklace taken by force. "What are you doing?" his yell.
"This cheap stuff cannot be compared to my gift, Princess." Lionel trampling Julliane necklace. There was a crack in the green jewel of the necklace.
"I see.." half full of vexation on Julliane's lips.
His hand grabbed the box containing the ring dropped on the floor. He stepped away from the park.
"Wait a minute, what do you want to do Princess?" Lionel stopped his actions immediately following Julliane.
Julliane's steps stopped at the burning furnace outside the kitchen. He turned to Lionel. His hand was ready to drop the box on the furnace with a burning fire.
"Don't, Princess."
Lionel tried to reach for the box but the ill-fated box containing the ring slipped out of Julliane's hand, entering into the furnace engulfed in flames.
Not satisfied with his actions Julliane took out Lionel gifts that he saved and put everything on the furnace. Lionel could only lament his broken gift. His eyes began to glaze over while grabbing the air.
"Go! Don't ever come here again, if you don't want to see your gift I burned again. I don't want to marry someone who only cares about possessions." Julliane kicked out while leaving poor Lionel.
He came to the place where his necklace was destroyed. His hand grabbed the formless necklace.
How am I supposed to deal with Ian after this?
