"Hey, Man. Relax...." One of my friends tried to break up.
"Gio, if your mouth can't be controlled. Not only will I beat you up, I can get you out of this college. You don't want that to happen, do you?" Agra released the clutches of his hands, pushing the rough body of the man called Gio until he almost slumped against the chair, fortunately his body balance was quite good. His hand grabbed the end of the table and made it focus.
"Sorry, Gra..." Gio sat down limp, lowering his head with a deep expression of regret.
Who would dare to deal with Agra Grissham, nothing. Likewise with Gio, but this time Gio felt astonished. The man with a high-class playboy track record basically never cared about the woman he was dating. Sometimes Agra's friends behave childishly by comparing beauty, power, even profession. But who is this woman? Only ordinary women with cheap clothes and faces that are far from the makeup polish. Why should Agra desperately defend the woman. Such was the thought that was raging in Gio's head.
Agra walked over to one of the seats already occupied. "Allen, move on." Agra threw a smile at the woman he called Allen. Allen is one of the children of the rich who also contributed to fund the campus owned by the Agra family.
Allen bit his lips, squeezing the expensive gauze he was wearing. Despite not accepting Agra's treatment, Allen could not do anything. Allen got up from his seat, yet Allen stepped up to empty the bench. Kinar had already held him back.
"No need, what was your name? Allen?" Kinar threw a smile at Allen, but Kinar's good intentions were met with scorn by Allen.
"You don't have to move, Allen. This was your place from the beginning, wasn't it? A newcomer has no right to take the place of another." Kinar turned his head, sweeping the entire room clean. Kinar smiled as he found the seat still empty. Kinar walked up to the bench.
"Is this bench empty?" Ask Kinar. The woman simply nodded, shifted her body and fixed the position of the glasses sitting neatly on her nose. Kinar smiled, put his bag on the table and reached out. "Hay, me, Kinar. You you?"
"A.I... Alisa's. Pleased ber..meet deng..anmu.." The woman who called herself Alisa just lowered her head, introduced herself in a stammered voice, then shook Kinar's hand with a trembling hand.
Seeing Alisa's trembling hands certainly made Kinar curious. "You sick, Alisa? Your face looks pale." Kinar.
"I'm fine, Ki.nar.." Alisa.
Samar's discordant voice began to intersect.
"He's sitting on the side, Alisa. Fits it anyway."
"Do not know in profit, but Agra has good intentions."
"Allen's still lucky, anyway."
"What a lucky one, Allen had long since dropped his heart to Agra. But Agra never glanced at Allen in the slightest."
"Why does he have to sit next to the cupu?"
"fits, right? May they both be students who can have the mercy of the Agra family?"
"Students, you mean?"
"Yes, like that."
"Ciiih, enough with one poor student. It's one more."
From the voices, Kinar can draw conclusions if Alisa is a student who gets a scholarship so that she can study at a prestigious campus.
Braaa.....
Agra again kicked the table. Instantly the atmosphere became silent, not sounding a word.
"Ki.nar, you better not sit next to me. I'm afraid you'll have a hard time at this college if you're close to me." Alisa returned to correct her glasses.
"It's okay, Alisa. You don't have to worry." Kinar smiled as he clasped Alisa's hand.
In another corner Agra was sitting clenching his hands, occasionally slapping his hands on the stack of books. Agra was annoyed not to play, none of his good intentions were considered by Kinar. Kinar wasn't just not saying thank you. But reject all his good intentions.
Agra couldn't stand it anymore, he got up from his seat and walked up to Kinar's table.
“Alisa, can you step aside for a moment? I have a need with Kinar.” Agra.
“Ah, alright.” Alisa got up from her seat and walked away from Agra.
“Patience, Ciner. Not yet seated.” Agra pulled out Alisa's chair and sat down beside Kinar. The entire room was just staring intently, so many pairs of eyes were astonished by Agra's attitude. Moreover, Allen, he bit his lips and squeezed firmly into the dress he was wearing. Allen continued to grumble inwardly without being able to voice it out.
Damn, why Agra could approach this poor woman. If my rival was a model, I could still accept. But she's just a country girl. It certainly can't compare to me.
“I'm trying to help you, Kinar. Sitting next to me is a rare opportunity that every girl wants, and you're not just rejecting my good intentions. But not looking at me one bit.” Agra twisted her body, staring intently at Kinar as if to signal for Kinar to immediately answer all the restlessness of his heart.
“Try to think, Agra. If only I had gotten into this class myself. Would your friend Gio say that? Targeting me as the target of his rude sentence? Or if you hadn't interfered with my seating, would Allen have looked at me hatefully? Basically, everyone here just doesn't like the closeness of the two of us, Agra.” Kinar.
Agra sneering. “So you mean in this case I am guilty?”
Kinar twisted his body, now the two face each other. “50:50.” Kinar turned his body.
“You mean?” Agra pulled out Kinar's hand, forcing Kinar to look him in the eye. “Don't ignore me, Kinar. I'm talking to you.” Agra's tone of voice sounded more serious than before.
Kinar let out a long sigh and spat out slowly. “In this case you are guilty and I am also guilty. Stop, Agra. How many women have you approached, or maybe you've dated? So many people will hate me. How many women are expecting your love? Then that many people will think of me as a rival.”
“We're just friends, Kinar. Just friend.” Agra.
“Do they care? No, Agra. They won't care, they just need justification not reality. No matter I'm your friend or your lover, in their eyes it will look the same. I was their goal barrier, and usually to achieve the goal. What are they gonna do? Destroying that barrier. Up here you've understood enough of what I mean?” Kinar tried to explain.
Agra fell silent, trying to digest the sentence Kinar said. Although Agra refused, what Kinar said was the truth. Agra got up from his seat, kicking Alisa's seat rough.
From behind the door a forty-year-old woman entered the classroom.
“Good morning everyone.” Greet the woman.
“Morning, Ms. Jessika.” Answer the entire room simultaneously, not least Kinar.
“Oh, we have a new student. Please stand up, and introduce yourself.” Said Jessika, the lecturer who will give the material this morning.
Kinar stood up, walked forward. He smiled and nodded politely towards Jessika.
“Good morning, everyone. Introduce my name Kinara Amalia, I'm transferring from campus S. Nice to meet you guys, please cooperate. Thank you.” Kinar smiled, sweeping away the eyes that were fixed on him.
“Amalia? Not a big family name, ciiih.” Allen scoffs.
“Students well? Ah, aren't there enough black stains that Alisa's carrying. Now this class is back in kotori by him.” Some other students responded.
Agra fell silent, taking no part. Not defending, not justifying. His heart was still upset because of Kinar's treatment.
“Hey you, get into an expensive campus like this because what? A scholarship? Om-om's pet? Or the young wife of a businessman?” The question that came like a bolt of lightning that struck Kinar's body. It was not that Kinar was afraid to answer the question, but rather that Kinar did not have the right answer to the question.
“Before, I check your files first, Kinar.” Jessika patted Kinar on the shoulder, walked up to the table and grabbed some files.
My God, if Miss Jessika saw Dika Mahendra's name, how would it be? I promised to cover this marriage.
Inner Kinar.
“Hmm.... You're pretty smart, Kinara. Turns out you got into this college off the scholarship track. Alright you can go back to your place.” Jessika.
Degs... A scholarship? What the hell does this mean? Inner Kinar.
