Not Daddy anymore. But, uncle Nael
Nael shook his head, not wanting to keep thinking. He decided to follow his two daughters to get off.
As he exited the windmill area, Laura and Naura's smiles expanded. They walked hand in hand and put their hands in the air, as if they were happy with the moment they had just taken, the moment they took a picture with their father, even if they have to experience something painful first.
Gabby's eyes glazed over as she watched her daughter walk over with a fluffy smile. In retrospect, this was the first time he had seen Laura and Naura smile after meeting Nael, because normally, after they had met Nael, they would be moody and uninspired because of Nael's attitude.
But now, he could see his daughter's smile expanding and he was sure that his daughter had managed to take a photo with Nael. Look, Laura and Naura just want something simple, and now they don't have to feel any more pain, because it's all over. Laura and Naura will not remember Nael again, they will start a new life in Japan.
“Mommy!” calling Laura and Naura together, they immediately called Gabby, as she approached Gabby.
Gabby woke up, and then she smiled. “How, are you guys happy?” gabby asked Laura and Naura nodded.
“We are happy, Mommy,” he replied with a beaming face. Just taking pictures with the father only his daughter looked very happy.
“Yes, we're home then!” take Gaby while Nael does not approach Gabby again, he goes straight to his parked car.
“Nael!” call Gabby. Nael who was about to open the car door turned his head.. Gaby clasped Laura and Naura's hands to go to Nael, and they walked towards Nael.
Again, Nael shows his annoyance when Gabby calls him. And this time, Gaby kept smiling, as if thanking her for realizing the wishes of her two daughters.
Nael's heart beats twice as fast when he sees Gabby smiling. If you think, for 8 years. This is the first time Gabby has ever smiled at him, as well as the one who never smiled at Gabby.
“Nael!” call Gabby again, when she's in front of Nael.
“Thank you for following Laura and Naura,” Gabby said. He thanked Nael, but remained silent.
“Laura ... Naura, thank you!” Gabby's word. Unexpectedly, Laura and Naura advanced simultaneously, then they hugged Nael's leg, leaving Nael aghast in shock..Again, a strange feeling. He felt an unusual feeling. And he also felt a sense of will, there was something big happening to him.
After hugging Nael's legs, Laura and Naura moved away. Then go back to her side, and again hold Gabby's hand.
“Thank you, Uncle Nael, already want to ride the windmill with us,” said Laura and Naura simultaneously.
Gaby's eyes rounded, upon hearing Laura and Naura call Nael with the words Uncle, not Daddy. He did not ask his daughter to change the call to Nael.
So did Nael, his body he sculpted when his two daughters did not call Daddy to him anymore and only called uncle. He felt his heart ache when he heard the words of his two daughters. Isn't this what he always hoped for. But why did his heart ache, when his daughter no longer called Daddy to him.
Apparently, when they found out, they would not return to Russia and would settle in Japan, Laura and Naura had agreed to forget Nael, and call Nael Uncle.
Laura is 7 years old. But, the pain of the two children, has made Laura and Naura personally understand what happened, that the father never wanted them.
And now, Laura and Naura manifest the wishes of the father, who does not want to see them again. Laura and Naura let go of Nael with an expanding smile. They left without any burden.
