“What do you mean Gabby. How is it possible ..” Arsen looked at Gabby with a look of disbelief, as Gabby advised Nael to wear Arsen as her lawyer.
How could he possibly be Nael's lawyer, while Nael dismisses Arsen unilaterally and of course, Arsen will not accept what Gabby ordered, because he did not want his pride to be stepped on by Nael.
Gabby returned Arsen's gaze casually, “If you still want to work at this law firm, then follow my orders. I gave you an order, not a question" Gabby replied. Arsen was silent.if he replies again Gabby's words, Gabby will further embarrass him in front of Nael.
Nael looked at the clock on his wrist, he already didn't have much time left. He needs no more consideration to make Arsen his lawyer, because he knows Arsen's ability to handle cases quite well.
It's just that he had a reason why he stopped Arsen. But now, he really needs a lawyer who is already adept at handling cases and Arsen is one of the best candidates.
“Oke, if you want. I want you to join my company and become my personal lawyer,” Nael said. Instantly Arsen turned his gaze towards Nael
“No. I don't want to be your lawyer" replied Arsen
“I don't have any more time, if you want, I give you 2 days," nale got up from his seat, then opened the wallet. Then he put his business card on the table. “Please contact me if he agrees!” after saying that, Nael turned his gaze to Gabby, and Gabby simply nodded.
Afterwards, Nael leaves the room, leaving only Arsen and Gabby. Arsen pulled his hair back, completely frustrated by the situation.
And now, he just needs to turn things around. He just needs to make Gabby feel guilty about him.
“Gabby, why are you punishing me like this? my mistakes are unforgivable. We can talk well,” Arsen said again. Gabby who was about to hold the tab, stopped her movement. Then he leaned his body back. Then crossed his legs and looked at Arsen with a cold gaze. Even he was not at all interested in what Arsen would explain.
“You still don't feel guilty?” ask Gabby. Gabby's chest rumbled, when she saw Arsen's completely invisible look of guilt and it was more painful than anything. It feels so painful, when the person who hurt us does not feel guilty in the slightest.
“Jka thought, it's not my fault. It's your fault too" said arsen suddenly. He's trying to outwit Gabby. Actually, he didn't dare say that, because he was afraid Gabby was getting angry. But, he had no other choice. He had to make Gabby feel guilty and condone her behavior.
Gabby nodded her head, then pulled the corner of her lips. He could have smiled. But, his heart was sliced through poignant. The blood stopped flowing in Gabby's body every time she looked at Arsen's iris.
In the past, he always looked Arsen in love. But, now her heart always aches when she looks at her husband's face.
