Dream Womb

Dream Womb
Inner Keysha

Silence struck as I waited for Ayu's arrival, an uneasy feeling haunting with a wary look at the figure lying on the floor.

Glancing at the wall clock that kept beating mercilessly as if confirming if I

not enough time to spend. I'm collecting back

my things and wearing clothes, the most important thing is that I am not innocent.

Although the whole body was painful as if it had been beaten, I tried to catch my breath and gather my strength back so I could walk to the exit. I'd better wait outside the house.

Being in one room with Mas Andre just made my chest tight, between angry, sad and hurt. Just looking at his face could make me remember what happened last night. I don't want to remember.

With great difficulty I strode my suitcase towards the door, and I heard a voice coming from behind. The man is awake!

“Ugh, aargg .. My head!”

I froze, not moving so surprised. Sweats as big as corn seeds drifted out from between my forehead pores, I closed my eyes.

‘What should I do?’

As I asked in my heart, I stared at the door lever in front of my eyes. I thought, I can move quickly, before Mas Andre realizes my existence is at the door, but what if later Mas Andre can chase after me?

‘Ayu, where are you?’

The length of time to think does not necessarily provide solutions. In the end the call of Mas Andre who managed to make me jerk and reflexively take the door lock.

“Keysha?”

Cklek!

Krieet!

BLAM!

I locked the door and sat on the floor with a bang from the inside.

“KEYSHA! WHERE ARE YOU GOING? DON'T LEAVE! KEYSHA!”

BRACKET!

BRACKET!

I held back the door while closing my eyes, hoping it would never open. I held the key tightly. My heart rumbles with fear while berTO’a expecting the presence of Ayu who is coming soon.

“Keysha? Are you that?”

That voice, that familiar voice. I immediately turned to him, crying out with gratitude. “Ayu!”

“What is this?” Ayu approached, looking at me who must have looked very chaotic. I haven't been able to answer yet, Mas Andre's shout explained everything.

BRAK, BRAK!

“KEYSHA! I KNOW YOU'RE STILL OUTSIDE! GET BACK INSIDE! KEYSHA!”

Ayu was flabbergasted, staring confusedly at the door and then turned to me.

“Bring me away from here,” my word shakes. Ayu immediately understood and held me in her right hand and then dragged my suitcase in her left hand.

Ayu didn't ask anything until we entered her car. There I could breathe a sigh of relief. The engine was turned on, for the first time I left with the intention of never coming back again.

As the car was walking, I stared at the building I had been in for 10 years. I look for a moment, open up

memory of whatever memories are stored. It turned out that only monotonous things made me grimace, cry and moan by the attitude of Mas Andre. The man I married, I loved, is now a terrible figure.

Why did I put my heart to him? Why did I realize that he was not a good man, not a decent father candidate? As if the mist in my eyes was fading, I saw reality after a long time of being blinded by fear and stupidity. All I can do now is shed tears for the umpteenth time. This clear thread becomes a witness to our story.
