The POV Haris
I could not believe what I was seeing right now, Diana was standing behind the car door as my reservist. I checked the name of the passenger listed in the application, it might be an error.
“That's my little name, Haris. You certainly did not forget.”
‘Nana’ is the name listed on the application, unfortunately I did not think at all in that direction. There are many Nana in this world besides my wife, Diana. I snorted in annoyance, today was really amazing. Awesome damn! I just got excited because this is going to be my last passenger before I go home and spend time with Keysha. However, it turned out to be faced with the person I had been avoiding for almost a month. ****!
“I was surprised after knowing you will become an online driver,” kekeh Diana while riding in the car. I let out a rough sigh, even I have not allowed it.
“Down!” cold spoken.
“What?”
“I said get off, you better cancel your order!” I repeated without changing my expression.
Diana was silent, I glanced at her who looked annoyed. Look, he's gonna explode in a minute.
“Hiks!”
I flinched, now I turned my head and saw clearly Diana. The woman looked down with trembling shoulders. Diana crying?
“I didn't expect, you'll turn this cold. What does everything we've been through mean nothing? Am I not in your heart anymore? Harris?” his voice was helpless.
“I'm sorry Diana, this may sound crazy. You'd better hate me from now on, because what's in my heart is someone else. I'm not a good husband, I'm a jerk who puts a wife as good as you are, because that's .. divorce is the best path for us.”
Diana's tears are getting broken, I don't want to give false hope, I don't want to do everything because of bad taste or so on. I want to do everything according to my heart. 4 Years of being in a household full of pretense, because of the compassion of others. Because of the Diana family's compassion. I struggled alone, looking for self-esteem that had been worthless in Diana's eyes.
“But I still love you, Haris. Since long ago, it hasn't changed, but why do you have the same me?”
Diana hit my chest with her clenched hands, I let her.
‘Love what do you mean, Diana? A degrading love? Have you ever defended me in front of your parents? Who from the beginning met always stared scornfully at me because I was not from a rich family. Now this is what it is, my village blood even dares to love you, do you feel annoyed because of it? Feeling underestimated, for not succeeding in stepping on my head getting deeper?’
***
I drove Diana to the apartment because she didn't stop crying, of course I wasn't cruel enough to get her out of the car in the middle of the road.
“Can't we repeat it from the beginning?”
I did not answer, for me there is nothing more to discuss.
“At least, please accompany me tonight as farewell. Even though there is no me in your heart, there must be something fun left. Let me remember her, Haris!”
