Fishing
With its red maple trees, the Lakern Mountains exude an autumn atmosphere.
And a wild boar emerged from among the fallen red leaves.
Scream!
"This is the first."
Wild boars are level 50 animals. They had the Charge skill, which allowed them to crash into their enemies with their molars.
Kang Oh unsheathed his demonic sword. Eder followed him, casting spells, his voice gloomy.
The boar kicked the dust and charged; its body shone and wrapped in a blue protective shield.
It was the effect of his Charge skill!
However, Eder completed his spell before being able to make contact.
Paahk!
He called out the white bones, using them to stick to the front legs of the boar.
It was a Bone Binding spell, which summoned bones to restrict the movement of the enemy.
Due to his bones, the boar lost its balance and fell forward.
Koongs.
It rolled its heavy body from side to side, kicking up a dust storm.
Kang Oh pointed his sword at the bound boar.
The impulse!
Scream!
The pig squealed, and Kang Oh just stabbed him once again.
Fractions of red light fell like glass from the boar's stab wound.
Finally, Eder created a sharp bone spear; he then grabbed it and threw it at the pig.
Pooks!
Bone spear hits target.
"Quickly and turn into an experience."
And Kang Oh followed with his own attack.
The Dark Attack, and the resulting black wave, destroyed the boar.
The kwang!
The boar became a gray corpse before it even had time to make a proper attack.
[You have defeated the Wild Warthog.]
[Stats have been stolen via Darkness Strike.]
[Physical +1]
That's a clear result.
The Wild Warthog is a level 50 animal.
While Kang Oh was level 70, Eder was as strong as level 80.
There was a huge difference between them so facing them meant a quick death.
Yet...
'mm. Something feels weird.'
After collecting the junkyard items, Kang Oh felt that something was wrong and thus, observed his surroundings.
Nothing very suspicious.
"Hm."
Kang Oh tilted his head and continued moving forward.
A few moments later.
The two men, who were watching Kang Oh and Eder from within the forest, spoke.
"He has common sense" Halt said.
"Indeed. Or he might have a class with a Detection skill," Itar said.
"Maybe not. They must be a pair of Swordsman and Necromancer level 80."
Halt and Itar are at levels 105 and 103 respectively. Level 80 enemies were at the right level for them as prey.
"Then he might have some kind of detection device. Whatever the case, we have to follow them more carefully from now on" Itar said.
"If we get a chance, let's take down the Necromancer first" Halt said.
The curse of a Necromancer was quite infuriating, so they decided to finish off the Necromancer first.
"okay."
Itar finished, and the two men disappeared instantly.
Their class: Murderers!
It was a Shadow Tracking skill, which allowed them to chase targets undetected.
* * *
Various monsters and animals live in the Lakern Mountains.
In the case of animals, there are wild boars, wolves, rabbits, tigers, etc.
In terms of monsters, two-legged dog-faced monsters that use simple weapons such as stone axes or stone spears, also called Frozen Dogs, are the most common in the mountains.
They lived in groups of five to ten; these Frozen Dogs were between levels 60 to 80.
They are suitable for Kang Oh and Eder if the level is the only thing that counts.
But in reality, if they were to really go against Kang Oh and Eder, they would stand no chance.
As it is happening right now.
Guk woof!
In accordance with the monster that had the face of a dog, Frozen Dog barked.
"Shut up."
Kang Oh scowled and swung his sword at the face of the Frozen Dog.
Peoks.
The affected Frozen Dog flew into the air and then rolled onto the floor.
The bark!
Yip up!
Seeing their friend get hurt only makes the dogs more agitated, and they start barking harder.
However, it only lasted a moment.
Eder raised his skinny hand, spreading a black wave.
It was the curse of Silence, which would mute their voices!
The curse is very effective. It really silences dog barking.
"Oh good."
Kang Oh grinned. As expected, Eder was very useful.
Despite being unable to speak, one of the Frozen Dogs swung his stone axe towards Kang Oh, his face filled with anger.
The other two Frozen Dogs by his side thrust their spears, leading to Kang Oh's side.
Kang Oh elegantly dodged the stone axe and spear.
[Stat aside, Evasion has leveled up.]
[Avoidance +1]
[Stat Evasion has reached 100. Now you can more easily avoid faster and more powerful attacks.]
Kang Oh can avoid most attacks through a combination of Hyper Intuition, experience and senses, Evasion skill, and Evasion stat.
And in doing so, the status of the Evasion increased rapidly and had reached 100.
Kang Oh felt that his body was lighter than before, and finished off the Frozen Dog.
The Frozen Dogs, unable to let out a single shout due to the curse of Silence, fell one or two at a time.
The last dog was killed by a bone spear Eder threw, which penetrated him and ended his short life.
And thus, the battle has ended.
Kang Oh, after picking up the trash, approached Eder and whispered, "There's something or someone here."
Through their hunt, Kang Oh feels something ominous.
The same uncomfortable feeling he felt when Eder stabbed him in the back.
"What do you mean?"
Eder lowered her own voice.
"I think someone's gonna attack us from behind, so stay alert."
He doesn't know exactly who or where they are, but Kang Oh trusts his instincts.
After all, it's called Hyper Intuition for a reason.
"I understand."
"Let's delay finding the hidden dungeon for now. We'll lure them to show ourselves and then we punish them."
"okay."
Kang Oh and Eder move once again. And Halt and Itar quietly followed behind them.
* * *
Kang Oh and Eder travel around the Lakern Mountains killing various monsters.
While doing so, Kang Oh accidentally exposes himself to danger and even exposes his back as well, but Halt and Itar do not move recklessly.
The reason they don't act is simple.
'He's much stronger than I expected.'
"It won't be easy."
Since Kang Oh and Eder's abilities were the best, they couldn't act at will.
Kang Oh could do nothing but furrow his brows.
He continued to feel that uncomfortable feeling, yet they did not take the bait.
Even so, he did not want to remind them by looking around.
"Then I'll make it so you can't refuse to come out."
Kang Oh takes Eder to the empty land. He did not forget to whisper all the way.
"Just say 'ok' when I talk to you."
"okay."
After arriving at the wasteland, Kang Oh started acting.
"Hoo. Should we stop here?" Kang Oh asked.
He speaks quite loudly.
"okay."
As instructed, Eder replied with a 'ok'.
"I've got a Return Scroll, so let's go."
"okay."
Kang Oh removed the magic circle engraved scroll from his inventory.
It was a scroll that contained the Ice Sapphire spell he had obtained from Sharobea.
But to Halt and Itar, who were looking at them, it looked like a Return Scroll.
"What are we doing?" ask Itar.
"We must attack. We'll waste time if we don't."
Halt pulled out a dagger. The end itself is straight, while the blade is curved and red in color.
It was the Fatal Death Dagger!
It was an A rank item, which while landing an attack would poison the enemy with an extremely powerful poison.
Itar also pulled out a dagger.
It was a BB-rank item called Ambush Dagger.
If their attacks were successful, they would be fatal no matter what.
"Let's go."
Stop rushing out and Itar followed right behind him.
* * *
"They're finally out!"
Kang Oh's eyes sparkled.
As Kang Oh and Eder are in an area without protection, Halt and Itar are forced to reveal themselves.
In other words, they were unable to ambush them, which was an Assassin specialty!
"Should we take care of those rats?"
Kang Oh gripped his sword.
"OK," Eder murmured grimly, and black energy rose from his hand.
It was the curse of Aging, which would lower all the abilities of their opponents.
But Halt and Itar were PKs who had killed several other players! They are not easy opponents at all.
"Stop, stop the Necromancer curse!" itar.
Halt nodded her head and threw three daggers at Eder.
"No way."
Kang Oh stood in front of Eder and fended off the incoming dagger.
Clangs! Clangs! Clangs!
Meanwhile, Itar appeared right in front of Kang Oh.
Itar held his dagger with a reverse grip and swung it down. He's aiming at Kang Oh's heart! And the Itar dagger began to emit a red aura.
It was an Assassin skill, Critical Strike!
They were unable to ambush Kang Oh and Eder, but they still prepared themselves for a huge profit.
However, Itar underestimated Kang Oh too much.
Kang Oh just pulled himself up a little, and too easily avoided the attack of Itar.
Whirr.
The sound of Itar's dagger splitting the air.
He's really missed.
Kang Oh immediately counterattacked.
The demon sword split him in half, cutting him from side to side.
Cut it!
Itar quickly threw his body away from Kang Oh's attack.
And Kang Oh's sword passed through an area he had once visited.
Itar heaved a sigh of relief as he rolled onto the floor.
If he was caught by the demon sword, then he would suffer tremendous damage.
Kang Oh and Itar exchanged blows as Eder fought Stop.
Whirr.
Halt swings her dagger, forcing Eder to stop casting the Aging curse and retreat.
In the fight between a normal Mage and an Assassin, the Assassin had the advantage. And if the Assassin approached, then it really ended for the Mage.
However, Eder was no ordinary Mage at all.
Since he had a skeleton, he was able to perform bone magic very quickly.
Eder cast a spell, his voice grim, and directly tied Halt with a bone!
Halt's wrists and ankles were held back by the bones, so she quickly cut them with a dagger and retreated.
Then, with the distance widened between them, Halt could see Eder properly.
"This guy's a skeleton!" Stop yelling, wonder.
When he looked closely at Eder who was wearing a robe, he realized that he only had a skull.
Eder arrogantly moved his jawbone and his teeth clattered. He, of course, cast another spell!
"Stop, get a grip!" Shouted Itar who was targeting Kang Oh.
As soon as he heard Itar, he took control of himself and stormed Eder.
Halt swung her dagger down, but Eder created a bone shield and blocked Halt's attack.
Meanwhile, Kang Oh is after Itar's chest.
Itar did not dare to block and rolled onto the floor once more.
And Kang Oh quickly thrust his sword into the ground.
In doing so, he activated the special ability of his necklace, Fractional Earth; a barrage of shards was poured onto Itar.
"Ughhh!"
The fragment landed a direct blow.
They did not inflict much damage, but were still quite effective since the Assassin class had poor defense.
'This is my chance!'
Kang Oh kicked the floor.
He jumped into the air and put all his weight behind his sword.
The target? Obviously, Itar!
If Itar did not dodge this attack, then 9 times out of 10 it would end up for him.
"That! Use Emergency Escape!" Stop yelling, and Itar gets the hang of her.
Emergency Escape was an Assassin skill, one that could be used when they were in danger; it would basically help them escape from whatever danger they faced.
As soon as he used Emergency Escape, Itar was sucked into his shadow.
At the same time, Kang Oh attacked.
The kwang!
Dust flew, accompanied by the sound of metal impact.
"I don't feel anything."
Unfortunately, the Emergency Escape Itar was successful.
"Uh."
While Halt was busy worrying about Itar, Eder managed to tie him to Bone Bind, tightening his grip on his ankle.
Halt loses her balance and falls, forcing her to use her own Emergency Escape; she also hides behind her shadow and runs away.
And in the woods near the empty land...
Itar, who used Emergency Escape first, grabbed Halt's hand and pulled him out of the shadows.
"We can't beat them" Itar said.
"Yes, let's run."
Halt, who pulled half of her body out of the shadows, agreed.
Yet...
"Where do you think you're going !?"
Kang Oh who had already ascertained their location, stepped on Halt's back.
"Basic fool!" Kang Oh cursed.
