FOREST EXPLORATION

It had large feet and sharp claws, all of them sparkling like sharp daggers. 

It swung its legs, deadly weapons in their own hands, as fast as lightning.

Goal: Kang Oh!

If he was hit by it, then his body would be torn to shreds.

However, Kang Oh is not just anyone.

He felt the same cold sensation in his chest!

Hyper Intuition had warned him, so he could respond.

Kang Oh swung his sword upwards.

His front legs swung from right to left, while Kang Oh's sword made a line from bottom to top!

The two attacks were destined to meet.

The blades and claws meet and light up. His strength was so strong that Kang Oh was pushed back.

Even so, Kang Oh remained unaffected and prepared for the next attack.

Then, the beast let out a deep roar and returned to its native forest.

Kang Oh held his breath as he watched her return to the forest.

Eder recalled Baramut's roar and despite being a ghost, he felt cold.

“If you want to defeat a tiger, then you have to go to the nest. First let's find the tiger's nest,” Kang Oh said as he gazed into the forest.

"Explore forests... Argh, I think we should peek our heads into the tiger's mouth."

The forest is the domain of Baramut.

They say that even a mutt eats half of what is in their front yard, but a tiger on the hunt would be much more dangerous.

“So stay alert. If the last one repeats itself, then you will only be the prey,” said Kang Oh.

"If I get bitten, I'll run away with my ghost."

That was something Eder could trust. He is a ghost and his enemy is a tiger. In terms of affinity alone, he had an edge.

"That's not just any tiger; it's a boss monster. It must have some kind of special skill. If you let your guard down, you will die" Kang Oh warned.

True, ghosts are immune to physical attacks.

However, magic definitely worked on them, and they could also be undermined by skill.

Therefore, Eder should not be rash.

"When we enter the forest, he can attack us anytime, anywhere, so keep that in mind."

Considering the fact that the Baramut had ambushed them at the entrance of the forest, it made sense for the Baramut to roam around his territory at will.

But suddenly, a giant wasp appeared from the ground.

Five wasps immediately surrounded Kang Oh and Eder.

One of the wasps, which was the size of his arm, prepared his sharp sting, and flew towards Kang Oh.

And Kang Oh swung the bone blade towards the wasp.

Hyper Intuition had directed him to his weak point: those vibrating, noisy wings!

The bone blade is right, about the wasp's wing. It was a critical blow, so a red shard came out of his wound.

However, he had attacked with a bone blade, so he was unable to inflict much damage.

The wasp staggered for a while, but then 'mocked' louder and flew towards him once more.

Kang Oh dropped the bone blade and unsheathed his demonic sword.

"I hope it doesn't get caught."

It was possible that if he swung his sword too wide, it could get stuck in trees or shrubs.

So Kang Oh pushed straight ahead.

The wasp flew straight towards him!

While he lunged straight ahead with his demonic sword!

It was clear that his demonic sword would win.

The tip of his sword had pierced through the wasp.

Kang Oh pushed the squirming bee into the ground.

The wasp was thrown to the ground. At the same time, a barrage of ground shards struck the wasp.

Right after, two more wasps flew together towards Kang Oh.

Eder has faced two wasps.

He used a bone shield to protect himself from their stings.

And start making tiny bone fragments.

He finished by actually stepping on the fallen wasp.

"You're done, too" said Eder.

Eder removes her bone armor and approaches Kang Oh.

But then...!

"Above us!" Kang Oh shouted, and rushed towards Eder.

"Uh."

At Kang Oh's call, Eder looked up, astonished.

Baramut is coming down from the tree above him. 

Right above his head!

Baramut's mouth was wide open.

His teeth, which were attached to his bright pink gums, were clearly an effective deboning tool.

'Shit! Eder will die if this continues!'

He was late; Baramut was too fast and he was too far away from Eder to reach him in time.

But he had to try something; as a last resort, Kang Oh threw the demon sword at Baramut.

Boong!

The huge sword pierced through the air and flew dangerously towards the tiger.

Baramut widened his eyes, as if not expecting Kang Oh to throw his sword.

His gaze alternated between the demon sword and Eder, and finally turned his body in midair.

The demon sword almost hit Baramut.

Instead of attacking Eder, he instead decided to respond to the demon sword; in doing so, he could use his front legs to deflect his sword.

Kang!

The sword bounced, and Baramut's trajectory changed.

Eder used the opportunity to duck.

Baramut's front legs passed where Eder's skull used to be, and Eder managed to stay safe at a distance as wide as a hair. 

"Protect yourself!" Kang Oh yelled.

Eder crossed his arms in the letter X.

Bone Wall!

A wall of bones loomed around him.

The keuhong!

Baramut landed on the ground, roared, and swept across the bone wall.

The wall collapsed, but his attack was not strong enough to cause Eder to receive any damage from it.

Kurea.

Baramut growled deeply, and retreated back into the bushes.

"Hoo.Haa."

Eder breathed a sigh of relief.

"Hey! You all right?"

Kang Oh looked at him.

"Yes, I'm fine," said Eder weakly.

"I told you not to let your guard down. That's dangerous!" Kang Oh scowled and said. 

Now that he thought about it, it was truly a dizzying moment. If he responded a second slower, then Eder would be crushed now.

"I told you I could escape by going back to my ghost..." Eder secretly gave an excuse. 

“Keep alert! There might be a way to hurt ghosts as well, ” Kang Oh said with a bit of worry. 

"Understood," Eder agreed. 

"Let's go."

"Yes sir!"

Kang Oh and Eder begin their journey through the forest once again.

Moments later, a purple venomous snake attacked Kang Oh.

It was over 2 meters long, and a noisy sound echoed from its crackling.

"It's the same for Baramut and wasps, but everything here is huge."

Kang Oh swung his demonic sword and pushed the rattlesnake away.

"That's right!" Eder immediately replied, and prepared his bone magic.

Kyah!

After failing to bite Kang Oh, the rattlesnake spewed out its venom, the sticky liquid coming at Kang Oh.

"I'll block it," Eder said and cast a spell.

A bone shield appeared before Kang Oh, protecting him from the poison.

Chiiks!

It is highly toxic, as evidenced by burning bone shields.

Kang Oh kicked the bone-melt protector.

The flying shield hit the rattlesnake, and it swayed from the impact.

Kang Oh ran towards the snake and cut off its head.

Whirr.

Red shards came out of his head, but he wasn't dead.

The rattlesnake opened its mouth wide and counterattacked.

However, Eder had used his Bone Binding spell.

Bones grow around the sides of his mouth and tighten around him. He tried to open his mouth somehow, but nothing worked.

Kang Oh thrust his sword several times towards the muzzled rattlesnake.

Frog, kook, kook!

"Getter."

And finally, Kang Oh raised his sword and pressed down hard.

Darkness Attack!

Black waves shot out from the demon sword.

Kwajik!

The demon sword pierced through his body. At the same time, the jet-black wave dealt a serious blow.

He didn't even ask her to do it, but Eder collected the trash and gave it to him.

Kang Oh continued to cut the brush with the bone blades and pressed forward.

Eder pointed somewhere.
