Eye Analysis

Eye Analysis
Linda's Giving Book

Lein agrees to go for dinner with Linda at her family's residence later that night. Lein is now at home.

"Hm, so.. Explain what this book is to the extent that you overreacted earlier." Lein took out the book that Linda had given her.

"All right.." Octiorb began to explain.

"This book is in Szem's information. This book contains ways of making and controlling a doll."

"The doll in question is a form that resembles a human or a monster made of some material."

"Hm, I get it." Nod Lein.

"But that doesn't explain why you overreact." Lein.

"That's because in this book there is a way to make a doll that can be controlled by the spirit." Octiorb grinned.

"Controlled by the spirit!?" Lein widened her eyes.

"So you mean, if I can make the doll you said, you can control the doll!?" Lein's body trembled because of the information that Octiorb had said.

"really. Think of it like I have a new body." Octiorb.

"I will possess the doll and my form is no longer a spirit, but a living being." Added Octiorb.

Lein immediately opened the book and read it carefully trying to understand what was written in the book.

"Damn, ancient language." Lein.

"Analyze all the writing in this book." Lein used Eye Analysis.

[the analysis continues ]

[Since the languages analyzed are ancient languages, not all of them can be translated ]

"That's enough." Lein went back to reading the book.

Since it had been translated, Lein came to understand what was written in the book. Lein then looked for a puppet that could be controlled by spirits.

"Meet." After a while of searching, Lein found her.

"Hm, there's no name for the doll..." Lein Mumbles.

"Keelfait Wood?" Lein frowned.

"What's the boy?" Octiorb asked as he watched Lein frown.

"Kelfait Wood is a wood that comes from the demon continent. It might take a long time to find her..." Disappointed lein.

"That's how. It's okay, boy, it's important we have this book." Although disappointed, Octiorb did not bother him too much.

"But, what is Keelfait Wood used for?" Ask Octiorb.

"It's here described that it's for his bones." Answer Lein.

"Yes bone... All right continue." Octiorb.

"Of course, let's see what other materials are needed besides Keelfait Wood..." Lein went back to reading the book.

"To make this doll we just need to make bones, skin, eyes, and heart."

"For his eyes... Cyclops Eye? That easy. Looks like Jonas took the Cyclops' body during the battle in Els town."

"For the skin is also easy to obtain, we only need the skin of the Haunthag Crocodile monster."

"And for the heart can use anything as long as it can be used to store mana."

"So our only obstacle is in Keelfait Wood." Lein closed the book.

"But isn't this a book from ancient times? Why are the ingredients to make this doll relatively easy to obtain?" Lein's confused.

"It's not like that. People in ancient times were very good at using everything around them."

"So it's only natural that you think that it's very easy to get the ingredients, except Keelfait Wood of course." Octiorb.

"So so...." Lein understood Octiorb's words.

"Now think about what we're going to use for his heart." Octiorb.

The two of them then thought about what objects or items were suitable to make the heart of the doll they were going to make.

"An item that can be used to store mana..."

"Golem Heart?" Ask Lein.

"That's possible, but you know that the golem's heart is hard to get. It's also expensive at auction." Octiorb.

"Then what if we wear an artificial Golem heart?" Lein proposed an interesting idea.

"Artificial golem heart? Good idea, kid." Octiorb agreed with Lein's idea.

"Good! If not wrong at this university there are also majors who research and make artificial Golems." Lein browse the university forums.

Golems are creatures that can be summoned by a Summoner and Golems can also be made with certain materials.

The difference is that if the Golem summoned by the Summoner has intelligence despite being low and the Golem made will not have intelligence.

"Hm... There are!" Lein Excited.

Lein found that there were indeed majors who researched and made Golems at dragon heart university.

"Since it's still late afternoon, should we visit?" Lein asked Octiorb for an opinion.

"I don't think so." Octiorb shook his head.

"Why?" Ask Lein.

"Because we need an artificial golem heart that should be able to accommodate me who is at least a top-tier spirit."

"We need to find a truly proficient person and to find such a person would definitely be difficult. If there really was a doubt he was a senior or a teacher."

"Then we also need to discuss about what ingredients are needed to make the heart golem we want."

"It's gonna take a long time..." Octiorb explained the reason.

"Ah... Your words have a point Oct." Lein nodded.

It is true what Octiorb said. Because what they needed was not the usual artificial golem heart.

They needed a golem heart that could hold the Octiorb. According to Octiorb himself, he was at least a top-tier spirit.

He cannot say for sure because he is an artificial spirit created by Szem to be with the Eye Analysis ability.

"Well... Alright." Lein sighed.

Lein then read the book and discussed some matters with Octiorb regarding the contents of the book.

Because this book comes from ancient times, which certainly there will be a lot of information contained in the contents of the book.

Although Analysis Eye could not translate all the writing, but for Lein, this was more than enough.

Lein also gradually understood how the process of making dolls using ancient techniques.

People in ancient times combined ingredients into an item or item just like the Octiorb did.

And as Octiorb said, people in ancient times could make use of everything around them.

They even used tree branches and stones as materials to make dolls according to what was written in the book.

"What can be learned from the people of ancient times is that they can make use of all the things that are around them."

"I have to be like them. Perhaps their nature would be very useful in combat."

"In a life-and-death fight, we must use everything we have in order to defeat our enemies."

"And when we have nothing, we must use what is around us to win." Lein.
