Eye Analysis
The Great Demon Jareth Appeared for a moment
All of a sudden, the parchment Octiorb was holding was burning but the Octiorb did not feel the heat of the flames appearing.
"Kuhahaha!!!" A sinister laugh echoed in Lein and Octiorb's heads.
Then a pair of eyes appeared in the air, the pair of eyes opened and looked at the pitch-black eyes without pupils.
"Ho? A human and a spirit dares to break my seal?" The eyes speak even though they have no mouth.
It seemed like the eyes were talking to his mind or with another technique. Because Lein and Octiorb heard it in their brains instead of in their ears.
"You... Could it be Jareth?" Lein asked the identity of the eyes.
"Hahaha, right, I am the Great Demon Jareth!!" Shouted Jareth.
"Why did you come to this world? Is it because we both unsealed her?" Octiorb asked.
"Haha that's right. You opened up some of my strength. I wonder who unsealed him turned out to be a human and a spirit." Jareth laughs.
"Then since you've seen both of us, now what do you want?" Lein asked Jareth's intentions now.
"If I had thought I'd go straight away, but after seeing you two I changed my mind. I want to offer you guys to be my subordinates." Answer Jareth.
"Your subordinates?" Lein and Octiorb narrowed their eyes.
"Right, my subordinate! Being my subordinate will get a lot of benefits and no one will dare to you."
"I'll give you both a very abundant amount of demonic energy. With that demonic energy you can get even stronger."
"Even you will probably be one of the strongest in this world besides gods and goddesses as well as other great beings."
"And with your strength you will get many more benefits. In your world power is a respected thing isn't it?"
"With your strength you can do your best, earn a lot of money, there will even be a lot of women approaching you."
"Hows it? Is it if you are interested in becoming the subordinate of this Great Demon?" Jareth offers a very tempting offer.
Lein and Octiorb listened carefully and did not interrupt Jareth's words. However, as Jareth ended his remark, the two of them smiled.
Then slowly they could not answer their laughter and in the end they both laughed out loud.
"Haha!" Lein and Octiorb laughed to tears.
"!! - Why are you two laughing!? What's so funny!?" Jareth shouted furiously as Lein and Octiorb dared to laugh in front of him.
"Well, before that, why did you offer such a tempting offer to both of us?" Lein wiped away her tears.
"Of course it's because you're strong, and because you can read the ancient language." Jareth replied, but he still did not understand why Lein and Octiorb were laughing.
"That's right, because we're strong. Therefore we don't need instant strength let alone being your slave!" Lein grinned and rejected Jareth's offer.
"I also refuse, we can become stronger with our own efforts. I also don't want to be the slave of a despicable demon." Octiorb also rejected Jareth's offer.
"What do you say!? How dare you reject my offer!?" Jareth let out an extremely terrifying killing intent.
Jareth thought that issuing her published killing intent would make Lein and Octiorb prostrate in fear.
Since only gods and goddesses could resist his killing intent, even among other great beings there were only a few who could restrain him.
Jareth thought that mortal humans and lowly spirits like Lein and Octiorb would instantly be frightened and prostrate themselves to beg for mercy.
But his expectations were completely wrong, Lein and Octiorb could still stand upright even though they still maintained their grin.
"!! - How can it!?" Jareth shouted in disbelief.
"First, because we've both killed a lot of living things." Lein replied.
To fight an enemy that has a terrifying aura or killing intent is easy enough as long as you are not afraid of them.
The first thing in entering a battlefield or fight is not to be afraid of the enemy and defend emotions with a cool head.
Lein and Octiorb had already met gods and goddesses and they had already met the supreme angel.
Lein had also fought angels who had high status and even he could defeat her easily.
Lein and Octiorb would not be afraid just because Jareth was a Great Demon. Even if they both knew that what awaited them against Jareth was death.
"This is impossible, there is no way that mortal humans and lowly spirits can withstand my terrifying killing intent..." Jareth mumbled indistinctly.
"It's impossible!!" Shouted Jareth.
Jareth was furious and did not believe that Lein and Octiorb could resist his killing intent which was that of a Great Demon.
Jareth let out even more killing intent and even Jareth's face gradually came into sight
That meant Jareth was giving off an enormous amount of power. But because of that, even though Jareth's face began to be seen, Jareth's face was vague.
Then slowly Jareth's face faded away and disappeared like dust being blown away by the wind.
Because this world has a rule that gods and goddesses and great beings cannot and should not descend into the world with their power.
They could come if there was an intermediary like an item like the ancient language parchment that could summon Jareth even if it was just his eyes.
And gods and goddesses as well as great beings could descend into the world through sacrificial rituals but they all did not want living beings to be sacrificed for their calling.
Except for a great creature like Jareth who is a demon. He or they would not care about the sacrifice as long as they could be summoned to the world.
"Damn it, my back is soaking wet..." Lein rubbed his forehead which was filled with sweat.
"Haha, me too." Octiorb also rubbed his forehead which was filled with sweat just like Lein.
Although the two of them were not afraid, still the killing intent unleashed by Jareth gave them goosebumps.
Even Lein who was a battle maniac felt the adrenaline in his body thrashing to want to fight with Jareth.
"This is the first time I've met a great creature." Octiorb.
