Inter-Country Competition: Lein vs Daniel
"Good! Continue on!" Lein smirked.
Lein advanced with both of his katanas he held tightly. Then Lein jumped up and twisted her body in order to perform a rotating attack.
"Sad." Daniel is forced to retreat because he cannot fend off Lein's spinning attack with his rapier.
Then when Lein landed, Daniel took the opportunity and immediately attacked Lein with a quick stab.
"Ups." Lein's words avoid all Daniel's stabs.
Lein also deflected Daniel's puncture and counterattacked by directly striking his neck.
"!!" Daniel immediately retreated away from Lein again.
"Why? Are you afraid of death?" Lein asked in a mocking tone.
"Simpson Technique: The Butterfly Step." Said Daniel.
Daniel uses a step foot technique that makes his body light which allows him to move very quickly.
"Simpson Technique: Extreme Speed Stab." Shouted Daniel.
The fast movement plus the fast attack speed also made Daniel able to launch many attacks on Lein.
"Ho? Faster, yeah..." Lein dodged and repelled all of Daniel's stabs with ease.
Even Lein did not change his face and still put on a relaxed expression as he was in the midst of Daniel's attack.
"How can!?" Daniel widened his eyes in disbelief.
"Of course you can!" Lein moved her right hand.
Lein saw the gap and immediately launched a slash toward Daniel's left abdomen.
Daniel is hit by Lein's slash, making his stomach hurt and bleeding appreciable.
Daniel backed away from Lein and drank a healing potion that allowed him to stop bleeding in his stomach.
"Can I ask you one thing?" Daniel told Lein.
"Hm? Sure, please." Lein nodded in favor.
"Why were you able to issue such a highly giving killing intent back then?" Daniel asked Lein.
"What kind of question is that? Of course because I often fight with strong people." Lein shrugged both of his shoulders.
"Fight? You mean kill, right?" Danie squinted her eyes.
"true." Lein replied with a bright smile.
"It must be good, you can fight freely..." Said Daniel in a less pleasant tone.
"Hm?" Lein heard it but he ignored it.
"I was born in a distinguished family and always lived in the hope of people that I could be the next head of the family."
"My life has been arranged by the elders of the family so that I can become the next head of the family without any problems."
"I - !!" Daniel could not finish his speech because Lein attacked.
"Be quiet, you're making my fighting spirit disappear..." Lein said in a gloomy tone.
Lein was really upset by this remark of Daniel which made his fighting spirit disappear.
Now Lein thought of finishing his fight against Daniel as quickly as possible without wasting much more time.
"Why!?" Shouted Daniel.
"Why did you say?" Reply Lein.
Lein stops his attack and retreats away from Daniel. Now they were staring into each other's eyes intensely.
"Living in a distinguished family allows you to feel all the special things that no one else has."
"You live with all the special things that make your life easy yet you still complain!?"
"You get good talent, training from an expert, given a medicine or potion that makes your body strong..."
"The extraordinary equipment, the great skill passed down through generations, has protection because your family is respected..."
"Damn it!! You want me to kill you, huh!?" Shouted Lein.
"!!" Daniel took a step back because he was afraid of Lein's eyes.
"Let's stop playing around." Lein exhaled.
"Dragon Dance: The Double Gravity Slash." Lein.
Lein used a gravitational slash as usual but now he used the double gravitational slash from both of his katanas.
"Magic!?" Daniel dodged Lein's attack.
"When did I say it?" Ask Lein.
"That's..." Daniel could not answer.
"I told you, stop playing around!" Lein used her foot movement technique.
Suddenly Lein was in front of Daniel and attacked Daniel's right shoulder.
"Aragh!" Daniel screams in pain and holds his right shoulder.
"Should I just cut off your hand?" Lein.
"Don't!" Shouted Daniel in fear.
"Well, since you come from a distinguished family, restoring a broken arm will be easy." Lein.
"To-please don't.." Daniel begged.
"Whispering." Lein raised her left hand and swung her katana quickly.
Blood splashed onto Daniel's face and Lein's clothes. The blood came from Daniel's right hand which Lein cut off quickly.
"Gurgh!!" Daniel screamed in pain and even cried.

"Cruel? I don't think so."
"I even felt angry when I heard Daniel's words about his family..."

Daniel is really scared now. He even asked anyone for help hoping someone would save him.

Lein takes Daniel's storage bag and, after a few seconds, disappears from Daniel's body, a sign that he is returning to Laville City Square.
Lein closed his eyes and observed the surroundings to find out how the other fight.
"Of course they won." Lein smiled when he found out that his friends had managed to defeat their opponents.
"Alright, let's take care of them. They've been trying hard." Lein thought he was moving.
