Lauren's Family: A Chat Before Bed
In Linda's room.
"So...meaning from the conditions given by grandfather Ronny to stay overnight is this...??" Lein sat on the chair.
"....Is correct....." Linda who was sitting on the bed nodded with a reddened face in embarrassment.
The purpose of the conditions given by Ronny is to stay one night here, precisely in one room with Linda.
"Well, you sleep on the bed and I'll sleep on the carpet..." Lein.
"Ah is not necessary! You can sleep in the bed. I'll sleep on the carpet." Linda stopped Lein who was going to sleep on the carpet.
"No, how can the host sleep on the carpet?" Lein shook his head.
"Then... It's okay if we both sleep in the bed." Linda said in a very small voice.
Although the sound was small, Lein could still hear it because Lein's senses were sharp and because the room was soundproof.
"What did you say?" Lein decided to tease Linda a little.
"I said it's okay for both of us to sleep in the bed..." Say Linda but still in a small voice.
"Hm? I can't hear you???" Lein smirked.
"I said it's okay for both of us to sleep in the bed!!" Linda yells.
"!!" Lein was quite surprised Linda would immediately scream.
"All right." Lein said, then he lay down on the bed.
"W-what!?" Linda sculpting.
Because Linda did not expect that Lein would agree without hesitation and immediately lay down on her mattress.
"Why? will you retract your words? Oh, are you not afraid!?" Lein said in a joking tone.
"Whoever is afraid!" Linda took off her slippers and immediately jumped into the bed.
"Yah!! What am I doing!!" Linda soon realized what she had just done.
Then Linda took the pillow and buried her face into the pillow.
Linda loosened her pillow and decided to peek towards Lein.
But Lein was currently sitting leaning back and reading a book.
"??" Linda was a little surprised that Lein did not react to anything.
"What are you reading?" Linda changed her position to supine.
"Only a book deals with human nature." Lein.
"Human nature? Why are you reading it?" Linda asked curiously because Lein had suddenly read a book about human nature.
"There's no particular reason, I just want to read this book and it's the first one seen in my inventory." Answer Lein.
"By the way about human nature... How do you feel about being greedy?" Linda asked.
"A greedy human is natural. Because greed is a human nature."
"Greed can also be the impetus for us to do something earnestly until it reaches it."
"But on the other hand, greed can also be a bottomless pit that will suck everything to no end."
Lein continued to read books while expressing his thoughts about greedy humans.
"Your mind is critical..." Linda was slightly amazed by Lein's mature mind.
"Thank you, but it's something to have." Replied Lein with a faint smile.
"Then, the next question. Why do we live, even though we're going to die?" Ask Linda seriously.
"A question that has a different answer depends on the person." Lein closed the book.
"Why does a man buy food in a restaurant? Is it for him to eat himself? For son? for his wife?"
"For his parents? or for his friend? or it could be that he's a food deliveryman."
"One question has many answers depending on the facts and from which point of view you look."
"Determine or find the purpose of your life so that your life may have a reason to live." Lein answered Linda's question.
"Well...But how do we determine or find them? We only live once, right?" Linda sighed.
"Living only once? that's incorrect. We live every day, and we die once. Don't look for excuses if you're lazy to determine or find the purpose of your life." Lein.
"For the purpose of life... I don't have one yet. But if the goal is to be strong... I have." Say Linda.
"Oh yeah? Can you tell me if you don't mind?" Lein asked.
"Of course you can." Answer Linda.
"I want to be like our president Brynn. He is strong, mysterious, and charismatic. I want to be strong like her so I can protect my family too."
"In addition I will use my strength to make myself and my family happy as well."
"Although sometimes I want to give up, but when I remember that there is still a supportive family behind me..."
"The feeling of wanting to give up is lost replaced with a sense of spirit..." Linda smiled brightly.
"That's great..." Lein smiled.
Lein then stored the book in her inventory and changed her position to lie down facing Linda.
"Eh, what?" Linda is nervous about being stared at by Lein and immediately changes her position on Lein's back.

Lein then brought herself closer to Linda. Then without hesitation Lein hugged Linda from behind.
"Eh!? Release!" Linda was very surprised and thrashed but could not because Lein's embrace was very tight.

"Will he do anything!?"
"Am I going to take it!?"

"Shut up..." Lein said right in Linda's ear.
"Uh..." Linda immediately shut her eyes because she was amused and also because she was so embarrassed.
"Let it stay like this, I won't do anything..." Lein began to close her eyes.
After a moment of silence, Linda gave herself to open her eyes to look at the situation.
"Liein...?" Linda called Lein in a gentle tone.
After a while of waiting, Lein did not reply and remained silent.
"Lein?" Linda called Lein once again in a slightly raised voice.
"...." - ".Lein still did not answer.
As Linda wanted to shout out to Lein, she felt a gentle stream of breath in her ears.
"Eh??" Linda blinked her eyes.
"Is Lein asleep?" Think Linda.
Linda did not speak and tried to feel Lein's breath again. And sure enough just like before, Lein's breath was calm and gentle.
"It seems he was asleep..." Think Linda.
Linda slowly also enjoyed her position and began to close her eyes.
Then after a while Linda's breath becomes calm and gentle just like Lein which means Linda is already asleep.
Then Lein opened her eyes and got out of bed. Lein walked and sat cross-legged on the carpet because he wanted to meditate.
Not that she didn't want to, but Lein couldn't sleep with Linda. Because their relationship is still limited to teachers and students.
Then because Lein had previously dated Liza, if she slept with Linda now then she would feel bad about Liza.
