Father's Status On My Son's Deed

Father's Status On My Son's Deed
125. Inculpation

This morning Dira came a little late because he had been hit by traffic jams, there was an accident on the road. As soon as he reached the office, a few people who passed by him glanced cynically. Dira who does not know anything so confused, but do not want to take a headache and pass it by. I don't know what's going on at this company, he doesn't know.

Until in front of the room was still the same, they looked at him cynically when he alone did not know what his mistake was. Not wanting to think too much about it Dira tried to be indifferent and unaffected with the people around him. There's no benefit, that's how she thought she was. Until the moment she reached her desk, Reni came closer and wanted to tell her best friend what was happening.

"Dira, everyone in the office is talking about you not helping Wulan to work for your husband's company. They say Wulan needs a job for her family, but you don't want to help her at all. They also say herbs have no sense of empathy at all."

Dira frowned and asked, "Why should they talk about me? Isn't it true what you said yesterday, that I have no right to interfere in my husband's corporate affairs. After all, everything also has a procedure, it cannot be arbitrary. My husband also has no right to recruit original employees, unless there is a reason. For example, he has the potential to advance the company or the latest graduates with the best grades, of course they will recruit him. If he's just an ordinary staff, there's a lot out there. I don't mean to underestimate his work, but we're all the same profession. Out there also requires work, so you have to compete fairly. Let the company judge without insider interference."

"Yes, I've also tried to explain to them, but still Wulan is smarter about instigating employees here."

"Already, no need to respond. Thank you for standing up for me, but later if anyone talks about me again just let it go. If they get tired, they will shut up. I'm actually also grateful not to recommend him to Mas Hasbi. Now that he has vilified me when what I say is true, what if he gets a reprimand in my husband's company, it could be worse."

Reni nodded and returned to her desk, while Dira had already started her work. He used to love working for this company. In addition to this preferred field, there is also Devi and Reni who become a place to tell each other. If there is work that is not understood they will ask each other.

Now Devi is no longer working after being moved and is now stopped. Reni is his friend. The roommates also don't really care about each other, but when there's a problem they are the foremost to gossip. Actually not only in this room, in other places it also seems the same.

While he was busy with his work, there was someone who came and said that Mr. Alex wanted to meet. Dira was of course confused, what was the reason he was called when it was still morning. He just touched the file. However, the woman still left, Dira was also curious what her new boss wanted to say. Hopefully it's not a serious problem.

Like this morning, when he walked out of the room everyone was still staring at him. Of course it makes Dira upset, but arguing it feels free too. Moreover, he was also a nobody in this company.

"Excuse me, someone called me, said Mr. Alex wanted to see me," Dira told an assistant in front of Alex's room.

"Yes, Alex is waiting for you. Just go in."

Dira nodded he knocked on the door and immediately entered after the owner of the room replied.

"Sorry, Sir. Did you call me?"

"Yes, I want to ask you something important and I hope you answer it honestly."

"Is it true that you are the husband of Hasbi, the owner of an up-and-coming company. What is your purpose for working here?" alex asked with a sharp look towards Dira.

The woman frowned, feeling strange at her superior's question. He asked, "What do you mean Father? Of course I want to work and make money. Isn't the company a place to work and make a living?"

"Do you have no other purpose?"

"other goals? What purpose? You'd better just say it straight to the point, don't have to be convoluted."

"All right! I heard you're the wife of a businessman, aren't you a spy of theirs?"

Dira chuckled while shaking his head, now he began to understand the direction of the conversation from his superior. He didn't expect that Alex was the one who had such petty thoughts. Though previously the woman had praised her assertiveness in leading, but now it was not better than Mr. William.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Alex, but you're a great entrepreneur, of course you can think clearly. This company and my husband's company are engaged in a different field, then where is my spying from my husband's company? After all I worked here first and before I knew my husband."

Alex is silent, he himself does not know what company Dira's husband is engaged in. The man only heard from the employees gossiping out there. However, as a boss of course Alex does not want to look defeated and tries to avoid it.

"Oh yeah! Are your words to be trusted? Didn't you just work here and you just got married too? You could've planned it all long ago."

"I just got married a week ago and I got to know my husband through an arranged marriage. Do I need to say in detail everything so that you understand, that I really am not like the person you were accusing." Dira stared intently at his superiors, he was not at all afraid, just furious with the accusations.

"No need, now you come out! Go back to your desk and do your job."

Dira was still upset, but could not do anything. He was just an employee here, it was impossible to sue his superior to apologize to him. He's not a respectful madman after all. The woman took a deep breath to calm her heart.

"Okay, sir, thank you. I just want to say one thing. Apologizing to the person you have hurt will not lower your self-esteem. In the future hopefully you understand and do not behave arbitrarily. Excuse me"

Dira soon passed leaving his superior with the annoyance he brought. Meanwhile, Alex is shocked by what Dira says. Did he make a mistake? Was that woman hurt by him? Should he apologize to his employees? It felt impossible, it would make his self-esteem go down, but Dira said his self-esteem would not go down just because he apologized. Alex shook his head trying to shake off Dira's thoughts and refocus on his work.
