Father's Status On My Son's Deed

Father's Status On My Son's Deed
70. Wedding plans

Everyone enjoyed breakfast with a hearty and happy feeling. Every now and then they joke around with each other and the most domineering one is of course Khairi's voice. The boy looked so happy because today he has a lot of family. Everyone loves him too.

After finishing breakfast, Asha asks Tiara to invite Khairi to play outside. Fortunately the girl today has no courses so, can be off, while Khairi for today Asha decided to take a day off. At the arrival of the parents it is impossible to let the son go.

"So what are your plans now?" ask Papa Roni to start the conversation.

"The plan is to marry Asha again. It was also what made me ask you all to come here. I want you all to be witnesses to our marriage. Moreover, Papa Harto must also be a guardian, as well as want to convince Asha because he doubts that you all approve of our marriage," replied Aji, while Asha just lowered her head.

The parents are all happy because from the beginning they have agreed, if Aji gets married to Asha again. Everyone also knows that Aji still loves his wife. Repeatedly Papa Roni wanted to match her son to his friend's son, but always refused because he was sure that Asha would return with him.

"Previously Mama apologized to you, Asha. All of this happened also because Mama was easily affected by the words of others, without asking the origin of the problem. Forgive me, mama" said Mama Tia with teary eyes.

Asha approached her former in-laws and clasped her palms. He was happy that the woman was finally willing to accept his presence, even though she was very afraid if she was rejected. Of the parents, Mama Tia was the one who rejected him the most at that time.

"Without Mom apologizing, I forgave my mom. I admit it was all my fault too. I should be the one telling the truth here so, Mama's innocent."

"Because it's begging Aji to be your husband again. You can't see your child suffering because of your loss. It's been enough all this time to suffer for losing you."

"Suffering? What suffering, Ma?" asked Asha who did not understand at all.

"Aji definitely didn't tell you how much she suffered after you left, how much she tried to find you everywhere."

Asha only shook her head in response because Aji had not told her a story yet. More precisely not in detail. He knew a few, not intentionally. One of them is about acid reflux disease that he knows from the doctor.

"Aji has suffered greatly since your departure. He looks for you everywhere, hires thug detectives all he does in order to find you. He also fell ill due to severe stomach acid. He did not take care of his diet too much, even until his body was thin. His appearance was not taken care of anymore, until finally your mother came to give understanding to Aji, that what was done was the same as torturing yourself. Even if you see it, it will be sad too. Since then he's started to get up and stronger, but still he's trying to find you no matter what. How much he spends and pays people. He actually found you himself. Maybe this is called a soul mate."

Asha smiled and nodded, a sense of haru enveloping her heart. She did not expect that Aji was so great that the man's attempt to meet her. Asha felt like she was someone she wanted to be right now, whereas before she felt inferior because no one expected her existence. She had also heard from Aji that the man was paying people to look for her, but did not expect that it would actually happen. The woman thought yesterday was just Aji's bullshit.

"So when are you planning to get married? Papa also can't wait to be a guardian again," said Papa Harto who had just quietly listened.

Aji smiled as she glanced towards Asha. However, the woman looked down. Finally he replied, "Because my marriage will be performed religiously so, whenever it can be done. About the party I can do it quickly too. The people here are ready to help, too."

"Good then. Then you will arrange how. Papa just come along" said Papa Harto who then looked at the others. "What about you guys?"

"If we also agree how the party will."

"Alright, later let me say the same Mr. Lurah and Mr. RT here."

"Wait, Mas. Previously it was okay if I wanted this event just simple, only the nuclear family only, there was no need for a reception. I have also been married, but there are children as well. It does not feel appropriate to have a party that is too excessive," interrupted Asha who objected to the plan prepared by her future husband.

Asha's face met red as Aji called her 'honey'. This was the first time for the woman to get such a call, but as much as possible she was acting ordinary. Shame if he behaves like a young man who is kasmaran.

"Yes, Mas. Then just have a banquet, there's no need for a reception."

"Alright then, let me discuss it first with Mr. Lurah. Hopefully they can make the event immediately. I also need to find a religious leader."

The next conversation also discussed the wedding plans of Asha and Aji. Although the event will be held simply, of course as a husband Aji wants to give his best. The man will also contact the catering service because he does not want to be more troublesome for residents.

After the conversation is over, Mama Nisa and Mama Tia intend to invite Khairi to go to the mall with their husband. Initially Asha forbade because they must also have been tired, only until this morning at dawn, but not at all rest and now have invited Khairi for a walk. However, Mama Nisa says that she is fine. Later that night they can rest. Now they want to have fun with their granddaughter.

Finally Asha let them take Khairi. The boy also seems happy to be able to go along with his opa and oma, while Aji himself goes to the village hall to meet with Pak lurah and ask some residents for help, to help with his wedding plans. All the residents were happy with the plan. Moreover, Aji also promised wages to those who want to help.

"Khairi hasn't come home yet?" aji asked when she had just returned from the village hall.

"No, Mas. Looks like they're going home in the afternoon. Mom sent me a message like that."

"They seem to enjoy the time very much. Are you happy?" asked Aji by looking at the beautiful face of his future wife.

Asha nodded and looked ahead. "I'm very happy and also relieved. Finally what I was afraid of all this time didn't happen. I think when I meet them, they'll come back to separate me from Khairi. It turned out that what I was afraid of was not proven, even they also loved Khairi very much. I'm so happy."

"That's exactly what I expected. After this I hope only happiness is present in your life. Never again feel sad. If there's something you don't like or get stuck in your heart, just tell me. Now your responsibility has taken over. I hope you're open to me too."

"I'll try, Mom. For now it may still be difficult because it is not used to it, but I will try it. I will try to be a good wife to you, may you not regret choosing me to be your wife."

"That's never gonna happen. We once lived one roof even though it was only temporary and it was enough to make me sure that you were the best wife for me" Aji replied confidently. I don't know what will happen in his household later, which surely at this time he just wants to be with the woman.

Asha smiled and lowered her head. No more talking between the two, no more knowing what to talk about. The heart of both of them was currently beating irregularly as well. Every little movement has made shortness of breath. Suddenly the woman remembered something.

"Mas, when we get married, where are we going to live?"

"It's up to you where you want to live. I'll go wherever you want, not force you. If you're not ready to go to town, we can stay here."

"Then how's your job? You can't work in a branch office all the time, the headquarter must need you too."

"I can do it remotely. Even if I have an urgent job and require me to come to the headquarters, I will leave. Maybe I'll go there for a second, it's okay 'cause we're LDRs?"

Asha was silent, whether she could stay away from her husband or not. Five years they had been separated, what might have to be added again, but back to the city and back to where he used to live, it seemed he could not help it. Surely the bad memories will return, now it is still sometimes imagined.
