Father's Status On My Son's Deed

Father's Status On My Son's Deed
18. Naura's Request

The phone rang when Aji was in the room. Asha glanced at the phone on the table, clearly Naura's name and also her very beautiful profile photo plastered on the screen of the smart object.

“What did he contact?” mummy Asha. Just as she was about to pick up the call, Aji came out of the room making her goosebumps with her intention earlier. Asha again pretended to concern herself with her cell phone.

“Iya? What's up?” aji asked, Asha tried to open her ears wide. Her husband went to the window and opened the closed curtain.

“Tomorrow? Okay, alright. I'll catch up with you to the house,” said the man, the call then disconnected. Aji's little laugh was heard as the man went to his room.

Asha's mind was not calm anymore so she kept her phone on the table with a feeling of annoyance. I don't know what they're going to do tomorrow, but the woman doesn't like it at all.

Aji knew that Asha did not like Naura's presence, but it felt really nice to see that angry woman like that.

“Let you know how it feels to be played, Asha!” mummified Aji.

Since that day Naura often met with Aji, Asha knew about it, but she just kept quiet because the husband often came home at night and when he would ask, she said, the man went straight into his room.

Like tonight, Aji had just delivered Naura home after they met earlier this afternoon. The girl was happy because Aji always made time for her. He also ignored calls from his wife.

“Did he like me too?” muttered Naura while looking at Aji who she had secretly photographed earlier. Naura smiled and rubbed Aji's face as if caressing the man.

“Yes, I'm sure that I'm better than Asha, there's no way that if she loves Asha she ignored her call?” muttered Naura with great certainty. Yes, given Aji's treatment of Asha while at home, Naura believes that Aji does not like her.

“You want to marry Aji? Are you crazy, Naura?” the mother looked at her daughter inexplicably. The atmosphere at the dinner table seemed uncomfortable again as Naura spoke of the desire of her heart that she expressed to her parents.

“No certainly. Mama think I can take it for granted Aji married another woman? Why didn't you tell me that Aji married someone else, Ma?” naura asked angrily and annoyedly to her two parents. Things like this he doesn't know at all.

“Ra, don't be crazy! Aji is married. What happens if you become his second wife? What do people say later?” ask the mother to her daughter. Naura did not accept the rejection from her mother.

“So what people say, Ma. I want to marry Aji. I don't care about being a second or third wife, the most important thing is that Aji has to be my husband!” exclaiming Naura. “Mama already knows, I used to like Aji, I can't if I lose him again. Anyway I don't want to know, Mama and Papa have to go to her house to propose to Aji!” the girl said she didn't want to know.

Naura no longer wanted to argue, she decided to go from the dining table to her room. After all he should be able to get both his parents to come to the hajj house and ask their son for him.

“Ra. Naura!” call the papa, but Naura does not make that call at all. Even with her mother who was ignored.

“Jeez, What's wrong with our son?” mumbling the mother looked at Naura who was now upstairs and heard her slamming the door of her room hard.

“You pamper him too much.”

The woman got up and left her husband there.

Inside the room (Mama Naura) talks to her daughter. The Princess had liked Aji a long time ago, but she did not expect that the love had turned into love.

“Naura Do you know what you said earlier?” ask mama. Naura is face down while playing her hp.

“Kan, I like her, I love her.”

“But he already has a wife. Do you know the risk if you marry a man who already has a wife? You will be referred to as the actor dear!” my mother gave me a warning. He really did not want if the community pinned the title to his daughter.

“I don't care about that. Most importantly, I have him as a husband. What's wrong if you guys just come there and ask for aji to marry me?” naura said she didn't want to know. The mother was confused by the request for aura.

“Can't!” suddenly his papa's voice was heard from the doorway that opened wide. Naura and her mother immediately turned to look that way. “Papa has already betrothed you to someone else and papa is sure he is better than Aji. He's the son of a big businessman beyond Aji's family and you inevitably have to marry him!” the father shouted from his place.

“No! I don't want to. I don't want to get married other than Aji!” naura's voice screams echoed inside the room.

“Naura Don't argue! You can't just ask us for something like that. That's an impossible thing.”

“Why can't papa? I told you I don't care—”

“You may not care but papa cares! Like you said, anyway Papa doesn't want to know you have to marry the man of choice papa!” the man's snapping made Naura speechless and in disbelief look at the father who could do such a thing to her. Also with the wife who did not think it could be done by her husband.

“Papa—” just now the wife will talk her husband raised a hand indicating if he should stop.

“Out! He must reflect on our words. If he still wants to marry a married man, better get out of this house right now!” said the man firmly. The wife rounded her eyes to hear the absurd things her husband said.

“Mama out!”

Just as the woman was about to refute, her mouth again clenched as she looked at the man's hand movements that pointed towards the door. If it's like that, he can't talk anymore.

The two men left Naura, who was crying in her room.

“Papa would like to ngasir our son from here,” said the wife.

“He should be able to think properly. Don't just put selfishness forward. We also have to think about the feelings of Aji's wife as well as her parents. Would you like someone else to gossip us in the back and talk something about our child?” ask her husband. The woman agreed with the husband's words. He could not say anything more just following the man's steps to get downstairs.
