At midnight, as usual Asha woke up, in addition to feeling uncomfortable with the sleeping position. This afternoon when the woman woke up, she was shocked to find herself in the room. I remember sleeping in front of the television. When Asha asked Bik Ika, it was Aji who moved her.
In the heart of the woman was happy because it turned out that Aji was so attentive to her. The nap also felt so good. When going to sleep at night, Asha ventured to ask her husband to accompany her to talk until she fell asleep. At first he was afraid that Aji would get angry. However, who would have thought if the man actually accompanied his wife until the woman fell asleep. After that, go back to his own room. Asha wished her husband would sleep in one room.
Asha closed her eyes as she felt something that made her feel like she was pinching under the stomach. From that afternoon the woman had already felt pain, but she ignored it because it could still be detained. Since becoming pregnant Asha often reads articles about getting pregnant and giving birth, so little does the woman know about the process. However, tonight the pain left him unable to sleep at all.
“Ah, the pain,” Asha said while rubbing the bottom of her stomach that has been rounded large. The feeling came again every ten minutes, but now he felt more and more. Almost five minutes after the pain came.
Asha remembered the words of the obstetrician who handled it, the pain during childbirth will be more often he felt when the baby was time to come out. The woman took the phone, wanted to make sure what happened to her tonight. His fingers moved nimble typing words per word in the search field. After finishing Asha read the health articles that were there.
His smile expanded, clearing away the pain that made him moan now became gone. The pain that occurs is indeed a sign if she will give birth, even though the doctor said the date of birth is still a week away.
“Nak, can you wait to be born soon?” asha asked with a smile and rubbed her stomach gently again.
The clock shows at one night, the cold air from the AC he did not feel at all, still the air in the room felt a little sultry for him. Asha tried to hold on, adjusting her breathing well. Pray in your heart that you can hold it until tomorrow. At least tonight she can let Aji sleep well. She did not want to disturb her husband's sleep.
“We last until tomorrow yes, son. Patience,” said Asha to her son who then the pain disappeared again.
Asha smiled and turned back. He wanted to sleep, drowsiness attacked him, but just five minutes asleep, the pain came again so as to wake Asha up.
Thirst strikes Asha, the water on her desk is almost gone, not enough to quench her thirst. So he went to the kitchen to get some water.
The kitchen that is not far from his room, now feels a little difficult for him to come especially with his condition like that. Walking very slowly and docked holding on to the wall, once in a while stopped as the pain took hold of his body. Achy waist, a pinched tub stomach, slightly shaking legs, Asha just stood still and took a slow breath, then exhaled.
Asha wanted to light the stove to make tea, but was too lazy. Finally, he just took water. Since becoming pregnant the woman had indeed started to avoid ice water because she thought cold water was unhealthy for her child-to-be, so she tried to hold back.
The sound of water coming out of the dispenser was the only sound that was heard in the place, Asha drank the drink greedily, not forgetting that she also took it to be taken into the room. However, just two steps away, the pain came unbearably. Asha sat on the kitchen floor, the water in her glass she kept on the pantry table.
“Maashaa Allah!” asha said while feeling the blessings that are peerless, a pleasure that not all can be felt by women who may not have obtained permission from the Almighty. Now Asha feels the pleasure even though she has to bear it herself without the attention of her partner.
“Patience, Child. Hold on till morning, yeah!” beg Asha to the baby. For a moment he would sit here, after no pain he would return to the room. However, as he was about to rise something came out from under his stomach soaking his feet and floor.
Asha was surprised, not knowing what was happening, but she suddenly felt worried.
Right at that moment, Aji also walked towards the kitchen as he was also going to make coffee, he had so much work to do that tonight he couldn't sleep well because he took care of the files he had brought home.
Aji frowned in surprise, looking at the glass that was there, when two hours ago when he came to the kitchen, it was not there.
“Bi! Please!” a woman's voice rang out from behind the table. Aji immediately approached and was surprised when he saw Asha sitting on the floor with a puddle of water that made her lower clothes wet.
“Asha!” yell Aji worried.
Asha who heard her name called turned her head and sighed in relief. Finally after a while of calling, there was someone who heard him.
“Why you?” aji asked while kneeling before Asha. He could see the face of his wife who was enduring the pain, something must have happened.
“Mas, I think I will give birth deh,” Asha said with a smile on her face.
"What?" Aji was so shocked, but immediately carried Asha at the front while remaining cautious.
“Why didn't you say? Handle!” aji's word, Asha wrapped one arm around the back of Aji's neck and looked at the man who was now taking her in quick steps heading out of the apartment.
Aji's face looked worried, Asha could see that. He smiled, but that smile he brimmed, there was no way it felt that worried face for him. The husband is just doing his job as a man who shields himself.
“Defend Asha!” Aji kept running while getting out of the elevator and immediately headed to his car. Do not forget the seat belt for the woman and immediately the car drove out of the area where they lived.
The quiet road makes Aji can drive a car at a fairly high speed. Every now and then the two glanced at Asha, the woman was quite calm with her state like this, took her breath and exhaled her slowly. Sometimes he also moaned when the pain came again.
Aji didn't say much, concentrating on the street in front of him. He did not think how he could be so calm when he was in pain. Though his friends once told me if his wife screamed in pain when going to give birth. Unknowingly, the man also expected Asha to be like that, but it turned out to be inappropriate.
Within an hour, they arrived at the hospital. The man immediately looked for a nurse who could help Asha, lucky that when he came out and looked for a nurse, there was a man who stood guard and immediately helped him get a wheelchair, he said, soon Asha was taken to head to the ER room to be checked first. Aji just followed from behind without asking much, she believes if the doctor will definitely give the best treatment.
Aji in wet clothes and fishy smell exposed to blood and amniotic fluid no matter the circumstances, he was worried about his wife. However, the woman was struggling between life and death to give birth to an innocent creature of God.
“Please wait a minute, sir. Please take care of the administration first,” said the nurse then went in there. Before long the doctor ran from the end of the hallway and entered the same room.
