Father's Status On My Son's Deed

Father's Status On My Son's Deed
34. Aji who turned cold

In the apartment, Aji just kept quiet with his blank stare. From then on, he just lay looking at the ceiling of the room. Asha's shadow continued to be reflected before his eyes. His life was now empty after the woman's departure. For some reason since there was no Asha, there was also no spirit in his life.

Before this, they were rarely together, besides sitting together for breakfast and dinner. Asha sometimes cooks for him. Although previously she was a spoiled child, but since becoming a wife the woman has always been deft in doing everything. The result of his cooking was also very delicious as he tasted it inside his mouth.

The sound of Asha's laughter with Bi Ika and Khairi's cries that were in her house for a few days, were no longer there and made her feel a strange feeling. The man should have been happy, but instead his heart felt lonely, something was missing from him.

“Did I miss him?” murmured Aji in surprise.

Whether this feeling was love or just pity, he did not know exactly, but to be honest the man felt extremely lonely without any Asha nearby. As a husband and father, Aji feels useless. He should have been more trying to maintain his household, not just give up.

Aji got up from her bed, went to the kitchen because she was so thirsty. While in the kitchen, he suddenly saw the shadow of Asha who was in front of the stove and cooking for breakfast in the morning. His smile would crack when he saw himself coming, inviting him to eat together. After that Asha would definitely prepare dishes and rice for him.

But everything just disappeared like smoke. It turns out it was just his imagination. Perhaps his longing for Asha was so great that it made him come to the shadows. Somehow the woman and her son are now, hopefully now happier.

The sighing sounded quite loud, but it would not bring the woman back to him. In fact, he could not contact Asha at this time, his number could no longer be contacted at all. It must have been his two in-laws who did all that to his ex-wife.

Brushing aside the shadow that was on her head, Aji left after successfully bringing the drink into the room. However, before he went up to the second floor, suddenly the man stepped out and opened the door of Asha's room. Unknowingly a small smile was on the man's lips and it felt even more painful. Several times Aji also entered this room when Khairi cried when his mother took a bath, now there is no longer anything that bothers him.

Aji went into Asha's room and sat down on the edge of her bed, stroking the pillow she had been wearing all this time. A feeling of emptiness in the heart. Strange, what a feeling he couldn't describe.

Every now and then Aji saw Asha lying down to put her child to sleep, and she could see it from the opening of the door a little.

“Khairi,” murmured Aji took a small pillow belonging to Khairi who was there.

She felt homesick for the child, wanting to see him and hold him again. The man missed everything about Asha and Khairi. I miss holding the baby and joking around even though I don't understand anything. All of that was because of his enormous ego, so that he cared less for the child. Had Aji been more attentive and heart-opening, surely none of this would have happened. Regret always comes too late, he feels it now.

Aji has been affectionate towards Khairi, although she seems indifferent to the child, but the man always notices when Asha holds her, when Bik Ika takes her out of the room, when her crying breaks, she says, it turned out that that made Aji become homesick to the child.

In the morning, Aji woke up very lazy. Usually if she wakes up a little afternoon Asha will knock on her bedroom door and make her wake up, the woman will also ask what breakfast she wants and end up with the 'whatever' answer she gives. However, Asha never gave up on her, she even always had a very sweet smile on her every morning despite the many rejections and words that came out of her husband's mouth.

Aji gontai's footsteps entered the bathroom, briefly he took a shower then prepared with shabby clothes in his closet. Aji was forced to take the iron and rub her own clothes neatly enough.

Walking towards the kitchen, no sound could be heard from there, no smile, no one told him to sit down to eat. In fact, now there was nothing he could eat. Usually all has been held at the table even though sometimes Aji is reluctant to enjoy it.

Aji sat at the dinner table alone, drinking the milk she had just made herself.

Aji admitted, Asha is a very kind and devoted wife. He regretted having wasted such a good woman. Living in this apartment makes Aji always think with the woman, his shadow always haunts him. So after this Aji decided to return to live with his parents only. Hopefully that way he can forget Asha.

“Yes, it seems like I have to stay with mom and dad again,” muttered Aji while finishing her drink and washing the glass alone.

If there was Asha here, she would wash her used dishes and glasses, but this time there was no one to forbid her from doing that.

“Aji?” Tia stared in disbelief at her son who was at home.

“Ma, I go to the room first,” said Aji while passing up the stairs one by one.

Tia smiled with pleasure at last the son wanted to return to this house, after painstakingly he persuaded seduce. Since Asha's departure four days ago, Aji has still survived in her apartment and today she returns to the house.

Aji spends his time working, often overtime or just rereading work that he has actually completed. The man's attitude was getting colder and it was also Tia and Harto felt. If there is something that does not suit his wishes, Aji does not hesitate to scold his men or household assistants who do the work.

Even in this one week, Aji has fired several people in the office who have made mistakes accidentally. There are even those who were fired because they denied what Aji said. Fortunately, Papa Harto was in the office so he could prevent the unwanted.

Some frightened employees also improved their performance. They don't want to lose the job they've been fighting for. Moreover, finding a job in this day and age is very difficult.
