Part 23 - The Wound That Locks

"Aunt Tania, Hiks..."

The two enter Tania's house. But the most hysterically crying Iva meets Tania.

"Lho, why are you crying? Who are you guys here with?"

"With me, Brother. They called me crying and asked to be delivered here" Vano said at the door and walked over to them.

"What's wrong, hem? Let's sit down, you guys tell auntie slowly."

The two of them were brought by Tania into the living room.

"Come story! What are you guys, suddenly come crying like this."

"Auntie, Hiks... Mom and dad..." Iva told me everything they heard and felt about her two biological parents to Tania and Vano.

"Then?" tanya Tania was stunned.

"Why don't you want to forgive me? Though I have apologized to my mother." said Iva.

Tania and Vano try to give understanding to Iva and Vio about the condition of their mother who still can not forgive their father's mistakes. They know that the process of recovery and peace in the family will not go easy, especially when there are deep wounds.

Tania kissed Iva's forehead affectionately, "Honey.forgiving the mistakes of someone who has hurt us in the past is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand. It's not about your father apologizing to you and their problems will just end, but it's about the heart and feelings of a woman and mother. The mistake that your father made 15 years ago still sticks in your mother's heart, even to remember it the pain is still felt. Perhaps you never know how your mother kept it all alone, still smiling in front of you even though her heart was crying. And keep fighting for you to live up to now whatever the risks are."

Vano added, "Listen to Daddy well. Your mother is not a bad person, someday she will forgive your father Regan's mistakes. But not now, because your mother needs time to heal her heartache. Understood?"

Iva nodded in understanding, she felt a little relieved hearing Tania and Vano's explanation. However, Vio was still speechless, looking confused and full of questions in his mind.

Tania is trying to take on more of a role as a mother. He approached Vio and grabbed his hand gently. "Vio, baby... Auntie knows this is hard for you. But Auntie wants you to know that we're all here for you. We will support you and help you through these difficult times. Don't hesitate to ask questions or speak up if something makes you confused or upset. Ok?"

Vio looked at Tania with his eyes still full of questions. "I'm just sad why our mom and dad are like this. After knowing the story, that our father initially asked my mother not to leave us, I was very angry with him. I was angry with my father, but on the other hand I wanted to be like the other children who lived with his biological father. Why don't you forgive me, too?"

Tania stroked Vio's hair gently, "Your mother is human, dear. And humans have complicated feelings. Sometimes, even though someone has apologized, the wound in the heart is not as easy to heal. Your mother needs time to reflect on everything and find a way to forgive. It's not your mother's or your father's fault, but it's more about the recovery process."

Vio still did not fully understand, but he felt a little calmer after hearing Tania's explanation. The two brothers promise Tania and Vano that they will try to understand their mother's feelings and remain supportive of each other throughout this process.

Tania and Vano were relieved to have given understanding to both of her nephews. They know that the journey to peace in the family will not be easy, but with the support and understanding of each other, they are confident that their families will become stronger than ever.

Tania and Vano sit together after hearing Iva and Vio's story about their feelings for their biological father, Regan, who has been absent for a long time in their lives.

Tania felt very guilty about all these events, and she wanted to give her nephew the best support. With teary eyes, he looked at Vano, who had been a father, Iva and Vio continued since they were born.

"Please forgive me, Vano," Tania said sincerely. "I know that this is all very difficult for you. You've been a wonderful father to Iva and Vio since they were born, and I really appreciate everything you've done."

Vano smiled gently, despite the slight sadness in his eyes. "There's no need to apologize, Tania. I always knew that I wasn't their real father. But I love Iva and Vio like my own children. Their welfare has always been my priority."

Vano smiled and nodded, "I know that right now Iva and Vio are feeling mixed up about their real father. I always advised them not to hate their father if they met him one day. Because I know, even if he makes a mistake, he's still their father."

Tania nodded in agreement, "You're right, Vano. It's time they decide how they want to relate to their real father. And we'll always be by their side, providing support and love."

After spending time with Tania and Vano, Iva and Vio feel a little calmer even though their feelings are still mixed. They return home in the hope that someday, their mother will be able to forgive their father. Maybe!

Meanwhile, at Regan's house, the atmosphere was still tense. Regan is sitting alone in the living room, brooding about the steps she must take to restore the relationship with Laura and her children. He knew that this journey would take time, but he was willing to do whatever was necessary.

Not long after, the door opened and Laura came back in. His face looked tired and moved after picking up Iva and Vio.

"Mother, forgive us for being so angry. We promise it won't be like that again, and according to what my mother said." said Iva.

Laura peed her two children's eyebrows. "I'm sorry you've made you angry too."

"What do you want to eat? We'll both prepare food for mom." Vio bargained.

"Are you going to cook for me?"

"No. We'll order it." chuckled Vio.

"Eeyy... I thought you were gonna cook it."

"Haha... Where can we cook. What do you want to order?"

"Emmm... Mother order..."

Laura smiled happily at the mood swings of Iva and Vio. She was very happy to hear their apology and was moved by their offer to order food.

"Mom order sushi, baby. You can order it from our favorite restaurant" Laura said with a sincere smile.

Iva and Vio nodded enthusiastically. They immediately took their phones and began ordering sushi from the restaurant. Meanwhile, Laura sat in the living room, pondering for a moment about all the changes that had occurred in their lives.

All this still feels like a dream to him. She feels grateful to have regained her two children and hopes that their family can grow closer and happier in the future.

When the sushi arrived, they all gathered at the dinner table, smiling and talking happily. It was a good start for them to rebuild their family relationships.

Dinner together is the first step on their journey towards peace and harmony in a family that has long been separated. May togetherness and love always guide them through all the obstacles that may come.

With a full stomach and a heart full of love, they feel closer to each other than ever before. And with a strong determination, they are ready to face the future together as a whole family.
