Part 34 - Get His Heart Back!

After picking up Iva, the three of them were in Vio's room, talking about Laura's plan to return to the company.

"Will you go back to the company? Aunt Tania had just gone to uncle Bryan's company, she said there were important things to take care of," asked Vio, trying to make sense of the situation.

Laura sat next to Vio, feeling the need to give an explanation. "Mom should get back to finishing some work. I promise I'll be home early today."

Regan, who had suddenly appeared at the door of the room, spoke, "You don't have to go to the company. I'll ask Mila to finish your job."

Laura stared intently at Regan, "No. That's myjob. I can't throw my responsibilities at someone else. I'm going back to the company."

Regan responded in a stern tone, "I am your boss. I didn't order you to go back to the company. So you're home, the kids need you more."

Laura felt the need to clarify, "You're just my boss. You can't rule my life, let alone my family."

Regan spoke again, this time in a more serious tone, "You're talking about responsibility. Working in the company is your responsibility, so do you think throwing Vio at his aunt isn't out of your responsibility as a mother?"

Laura felt increasingly angry, "I have to go back to the company and work to support the needs of my two children."

Regan tries to calm the situation down, "Alright, if that's what you want. From now on, you don't just think of me as your boss, consider me your future husband. I will take care of all your needs, the three of you now my responsibility."

Laura grew angry and shouted, "You can't just talk like that. You-"

Regan cut him off in a stern voice, "I'm also their real father, if you forget!!"

Laura was irritated and immediately left Vio's room, leaving Regan with a wry smile on her face.

But Iva sitting there could not silence her curiosity. "Why did you say that to Mom? Mother would most not like to be duplicated like that. I'm sensitive about that."

Iva felt increasingly curious, "Daddy seriously? You're going to marry mom? But do you want to marry your father? Didn't you not forgive me."

Regan tries to explain gently, "Dad needs your support to get sorry and to melt your mother's heart back."

Iva excitedly replied, "Sure. We'll support and help you get mom back."

However, Vio, who was still feeling annoyed, responded sniffly, "I won't give support to mom to apologize. I don't want you to come back."

Regan and Iva are heartbroken to hear the attitude of Vio, who is still not ready to accept his father's good intentions to improve their family relationship.

Elwin looked on with a amazed smile as his boss, Regan, finally returned to their company office. "You're finally back. I thought you forgot about your company."

Regan looked at Elwin with a sharp look, "Why are you in my room?"

Elwin replied casually, "You don't see, how many files are piling up on your desk? And I have to take care of everything."

Regan just shook her head in a tart tone, "Don't overdo it. You can even finish more than this."

Elwin felt confident, "You even know what my genius is like. What about your sister's company? Are the employees there still flirting and seeking your attention?"

Regan replied while pondering for a moment, "As you can see. And as long as Sean's not here, I'll replace him temporarily in his company. And I'm assigned you to take care of everything here."

"I understand your purpose is not just that. Have fun, and get her heart back." message Elwin, smiling seductively.
