Abela flinched as her horse got out of control. The huge monster began to roar and attack. They did not predict that there would be any large monsters to head them off. This expedition is more dangerous.
"Armand ! " Abela shouted again. "The scales under his chin !" Abela spoke only important words. But Armand looked at him with an understanding look.
"Calix !" Armand shouted giving instructions. All the warriors spread out just like when in the east carrying magic strings.
But Abela felt an oddity, the monster did not move or rebel. As Armand slid upward to stab Abela's designated spot. Abela could see the person wearing the robe more clearly. It was definitely his face. When Abela was stunned by that fact. The huge monster fell down while Abela's horse somehow became out of control and ran over to the black-robed person.
"Madam !" someone shouted to him. Behind the foot of his own horse. Abela could hear the sound of another horse's foot.
Abela fails to control her horse and slides into the red-flaming magic-circle. Within seconds his gaze was filled with a dazzling white light.
"Abela !"
And Armand's voice calling out his name was the last thing he heard.
...----------------...
Abela woke up when she felt a drop of water hit her face. His consciousness slowly returned. And the first thing he saw was the black-robed figure earlier. The figure turned his back on Abela.
"You awake?" ask that figure.
"Where am I? Who're you?" abela asked calmly.
"You look calmer and braver. You're not like most noble ladies."
"Whatdoyouwant? Why bring me here?" abela asked again, somewhat impatient.
"You know, this is the body of the greatest witch of all time" the figure said.
"I did my research and made this body mine. But, none of these bodily memories have appeared." The figure kept talking.
Abela looked around the place. I don't know why I feel familiar. Abela could feel her hands and feet being tied. Vaguely Abela smelled a foul smell.
"So you mean, you dug up the witch's grave and brought her rotten body?" Abela asked again. Who is this fool?
"There's a reason why some magic is called forbidden magic" Abela said.
"But this witch can master it and live an eternal life" the figure said. "You seem to know a lot about magic?" ask again.
Abela did not reply, she was still fixedly staring at the figure in front of her. His decomposing body. And his half-young half-old face. Depressing. That was the word that flashed through Abela's mind at the moment.
"Why do you think the memory of this body never appears?" ask that figure again.
"Why are you asking me?" Abela felt she needed to be more vigilant.
"Content ... I have a feeling you know the answer." The figure smirked creepily. Abela gulped, regretting why she used to be so greedy.
"I don't know anything about it" Abela said.
"really? You seem to know a lot about monsters. How do you explain that?" The figure asked again.
"It was just a coincidence." Abela tries to lie by continuing to look into the eyes of her interlocutor. If there's anyone she wants to tell you about her secret. He wanted Armand to be the first to listen.
"It's weird ... The monster is a collection of Ghotel witches he has never let go of. Except today I let go. And you can tell where the weak spot is easily. You said it was a coincidence?"
"The scales caught my attention" Abela said.
"Just up to you." Abela did not want to continue arguing. Feels free.
"A person who is not a knight. Go to the monster expedition. There must be a reason, right?"
"I'm a knight" Abela argued.
"really? Doesn't look like that to me. Madam Abela."
"You know my name?" Abela looked at the figure sharply.
"You're shocked? Who does not know the lover of Duke Armand de Rhodes."
"That means you've been living in Romano all this time?" ask Abela again. Is this guy after Armand?
"Not living there, everyone knows who he is. This witch ...." the figure pointed to himself, "Also killed by the Duke."
"So? What do you mean bring me here?"
"I was just curious. Like those monster scales that catch your attention. You've also caught my attention." The figure came back grinning.
"You are so beautiful madam Abela. I think exchanging bodies with you would be more beneficial to me."
Abela bit her lower lip. Damnit. He cursed in the heart. It's getting dangerous. He has to find a way to get out of here. Abela looked around again. Where is that place and why does she feel familiar.
"You know madam the perfect condition to fill someone's body? So that his body's memories can be seen?" the figure started the conversation again.
"By eliminating it from this world." The figure answered his own question.
"Thus ... Is the witch still alive?" ask the figure again with a humming tone.
Abela was struck by that reality. What does it mean to kill? What that meant as long as Abela suddenly got the memories of this body she was in, it meant the real Abela....
Abela shook her head. No way that's not the answer.
"Did the Ghotel witch get inside someone else's body before she died?" The man spoke more to himself.
"Why didn't Madam answer?"
"I just don't understand what you're talking about" Abela replied.
The figure did not care much about Abela replied, she continued to draw magic formations on the floor. The smell of blood rancid smelled as a large brush stroke outlined the pattern with a suspicious red liquid present in one large bucket.
"I can't be in this body for too long. It feels uncomfortable. I'll go first" said the figure. He lay in the middle of the magic formation. And no longer moving when the orange light made Abela blind.
Abela looked at her rotten body lying on the floor. Abela would not think again. If he is not revived in Abela's body, does that mean that all his memories and knowledge will be read by the person who possessed his original body?
Who would that man be? And what's he doing that for? Abela clenched her teeth. Stupid Armand. He should have burned Abela to ashes. Why did he bury her. Makes his body easy to find anyone.
What else is a reality he may have just found out. As for the real Abela, has she really disappeared? Was there no chance for him to enter his body again? What happens if Abela chooses to die again? What memory of his body would be able to see this madman.
Abela sighed tiredly, looking at her real body and face again. His eyes were open and his tongue slightly stretched out. Reminds him of the last thing he did when Armand pierced his chest.
The body lay with an increasingly stinging smell. What is Abela feeling now? He felt scared and disgusted. Sad and frustrating. Seeing himself lying before his eyes.
Abela bit her lips hard. Produces deep, bloody wounds. He has to think about how to get out of here. Immediately. As soon as possible.
