Life Becomes Duke's Beloved

Life Becomes Duke's Beloved
Abela's Choice

.

Abela fell silent as Armand asked her why she saved him. Remember what happened back then. Abela was not even moved to save Cesar. But he spontaneously ran when he saw the magic was directed at Armand.

Abela did not have time to think about it because she was instantly unconscious. What answer would Armand want to hear from him?

"I ...." Abela stop. Still can't give a proper answer. "I don't know." At last, it was just that word that he could say. His eyes had not looked at Armand again.

"Should I answer that question now?" abela asked, sighing.

Armand watched her with the lips she tightened. Ask yourself whether or not he really needs that answer.

"Rest." Armand moved from his seat. When Abela's hand somehow held her back.

Abela was not sure what the gesture of her own body meant. Doesn't he want Armand to leave him alone? Wh why? Abela immediately pulled her hand again. He turned his face away trying to dodge Armand's questioning gaze. Not a word was said after that awkwardness.

Armand who was slightly fixated as Abela held him back from standing up, was finally only able to smile and sit back in his chair.

"Well if you don't want me to go" Armand said in his long-lost ignorant tone.

Abela did not reply, for some reason her face was hot hearing that tone of voice. I don't know what made his heart beat faster. Abela gulped, afraid to give an answer to what she was feeling. He cannot have that feeling.

"Did you know? Where is the veil connected?" Armand started the conversation again. He did not care much about Abela's face still turning away from him.

"To the palace?" Abela did not hesitate to answer. All the people he had met before Armand were obviously from the palace.

"Yes ... To the daughter's room of Wilhemn," Armand replied calmly.

"Lyra?" Abela mentioned the name of the princess in a questioning tone.

Abela smiled wryly, she was even a little familiar with the woman before.

"So that goes into my real body also ...." Abela did not continue her sentence. Honestly she's a little disappointed, why should Lyra of everyone.

"Yes ... Your guess is correct," replied Armand still in a calm tone earlier.

"I hope it's wrong" Abela said grimacingly.

"What makes your expectations high on that woman?" Armand crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"She's pretty sweet" Abela replied without a second thought.

Armand did not know what expression Abela was displaying right now, but he could see the faintest smile on that face.

"Sugary?" reset Armand slowly.

"It's quite nice to do a lot of things with him and Rewelin" Abela said honestly.

"Maybe ..that's because you haven't had people to talk to for a long time" Armand said. He told it not only to Ghotel, but to Abela too. His lover did not have many people he could call friends.

Abela fell silent again, she accepted Armand's statement. What Armand said was right. He can't deny it.

As the two of them fell silent and dived into each other's thoughts. Suddenly the door of the room opened quite hard. Abela was slightly surprised and spontaneously stared at the door.

He looked at Orlando who was like he was already crying before he even got into the room. Followed by Bastian behind him.

Orlando walked in and got closer to the bed. The boy bit his lower lip a little too hard. Abela could see the blood there.

"Stop biting your lips like that, it makes you hurt." Abela said that while lying down, still not having enough energy to get up.

"You're hurt again? Kidnapped and wounded and badly injured?" Orlando muttered without raising his head.

"My father and I didn't think it would happen" Abela replied. He had no energy to argue with anyone.

"You don't know what I feel when I hear it?" somehow Orlando raised his voice.

"I ...." Abela could not find the next word when she saw Orlando's tears flowing.

"I know you're not my mother!" shout Orlando.

"But I keep running here as fast as I can" Orlando said. His tone was slightly lowered.

"What do you think is the reason?" Orlando asked about what he did not understand as well.

For a few days he was angry. Whatever he saw. On a flower pot that was kept untidy, on his messy study table. Little things affected Orlando's feelings many times more than usual.

She wanted to hate this woman who possessed her mother's body. But he could not suppress his worry as he heard that this woman was injured. Orlando suddenly laughed quite loudly. Make everyone look at him.

"I think it's just because of my mother's body" Orlando murmured softly. He clenched his hand. His teeth were tightened so as not to scream anymore.

"You're right Orlando," Abela replied very quietly.

"What you feel, it's all because this body is your mother's body" Abela said with a smile, trying to give an answer that made Orlando calm.

"I don't like that reality" Orlando said.

"I am also ... But I won't try to like it either .." said Abela Lirih.

"Your answer doesn't help at all" Orlando murmured.

"I saved your father" Abela said at last.

"By saving your father I can save the crown prince as well. That's why I'm hurt." Abela tried to be calm in the rest of her energy.

Orlando was still speechless with his hands still clenched. No one interrupts the conversation with Abela. Armand and Bastian did notice in their respective places.

"Don't do anything to harm my mother" Orlando said still sounding angry.

"All right I'll be careful" Abela replied. He actually wanted to rest. Her body is very tired.

What's wrong with him being the bad guy for these people for possessing the bodies of their loved ones. Not his wish like this. He also does not want to be revived. An annoyance slowly crept into his heart. There is only one person who is sympathetic to his feelings at this time. Or the days before?

Abela thinks there is none. The Rewelin pu. Will stop being friends with him. They're all selfish. No one heard what Abela said repeatedly. Sucks. Abela murmured in the heart.

"If you're done talking and spilling your irritation on me ..." Abela spoke in a cold tone. "You can go" he said again.

"No. I'm not done yet." Orlando raised his voice again.

"What do you want then?" Abela asked quite loudly as well.

Abela was angry, why should she be blamed? Tears have hung his eyes. She's tired. He really wanted everything to be finished even faster.

Bastian touched Orlando's shoulder and asked for his attention. He wants Orlando to stop. Somehow his gut says things are going to get worse. He shook his head at Orlando to prevent him from saying anything more.

Armand finally stood up from his chair. "From today on, you are not allowed into this room until a certain time limit."

Armand's tone of command cannot be denied by everyone. Bastian tried to get Orlando out of the room. The boy was pretty stupid. He with all his might held on to his position.

"Why? Why are you still in there," Orlando murmured softly but was still heard by everyone.

"Why? you want to bury your mother's body?" Abela had no intention of saying that. But he was really very angry right now. And the opponent is just a child. But still Abela thinks all these people are selfish. Abela lay down and turned her back. He did not see Orlando's tears flowing down. Or Bastian who held back his emotions. Or Armand's dark gaze on her.
