Juwita was piqued by the heavy weight that overcame her body. The woman groaned, feeling very tired now but inevitably woke up.
"Lila, Nia, Yunia, how many times have you told me not to go in Mom's room." Juwita ruffled her hair upset that she woke up early in the morning. Even when opening his eyes and seeing three girls sleeping around the mattress, the annoyance turned into resignation.
In the past, Juwita thought the hardest time to have children was when they gave birth. Can't lie that Juwita always felt like she wanted to be crazy by the pain every time she took the child out of her stomach through a normal delivery.
But it turns out it was just a small part. The boys are much harder than Juwita expected. They are obsessed with their parents, unwilling to eat if not fed, should always be given time and attention, to the point of sneaking into Juwita's bed as they were all forced to sleep in separate rooms, near Banyu and Cetta's room.
"Good morning," said Adji who looks neat with his work clothes.
The man came to kiss Juwita on the forehead, shuffling her hair gently.
"Mas, you don't get the door?" tanya Juwita was still half sleepy. "Well I don't wear clothes and the kids come in, you think the question will be one doang?"
Adji laughed and did not respond to that at all. She never argued with Juwita about what her daughter could and could not do.
He is the kind of father who can be cold to his son but does not even dare to glare at his daughter.
Juwita got out of bed, leaving her three children still surfing in a dream. Juwita rushes to the bathroom for a little clean-up, before she gets off following Adji who makes coffee for himself.
"Breakfast?" Juwita asked while attaching the apron to her body.
"Bread it." Adji sat in a special chair himself after he finished making coffee. The man drank quietly, but secretly glanced at Juwita. "Will not come home?"
For a second, Juwita's hand moved but hurried back she forced it, not wanting to make Adji suspicious.
"He was busy, she said."
"Ohya? You're not the same pa-pa?"
"Yes, why?" reply Juwita spontaneously, anxious to think about the words of his stepson.
That's not a good thing for the father of his child to know.
But Juwita's reply actually made Adji frown. As her husband, Adji knew Juwita very well. Juwita is the last person who would be fine if her stepson never came home, even if the reason is college.
Actually Juwita even craved very long before finally he gave up on the decision Abhimanyu lived alone.
"Wife."
"Yep?"
Juwita turned her head to horror as if Adji had just said 'let's get divorced'. Usually women expect her husband to be a little sensitive about what they worry about, but Juwita hopes Adji doesn't ask her at all right now.
"Nothing is." Juwita shook her head with a very clear face there was something behind her back. "Nothing at all. Nonexistent. Nothing at all."
Adji will believe that Juwita said no, but Adji was made to disbelieve because Juwita was impressed to emphasize.
"Why?" ask the man seriously. "What problem does Abhimanyu have?"
Among Adji's children, Abhimanyu was the most frequently affected. It has happened since a long time ago and Adji has been very familiar with how the habits of his eldest son.
It's much easier to believe that Cetta didn't fight after her toy was tampered with than to believe that Abhimanyu didn't make trouble out there.
"No—"
"Juwita Padmavati." Adji pressed his name which immediately made Juwita shut up. "Abimanyu why?"
"Abi ...." Juwita tried to look Adji straight in the eye but it just made his mind messed up. "Abiemank ...."
"Bang Abi said he wanted to marry his girlfriend" Banyu's voice surprised Juwita.
Juwita's eyes clearly glared at Banyu who instead gave the vile lie, but Banyu countered with the belief that he was quite right.
"Huh?" Adji looked at his son in disbelief. "Abimanyu wants to get married? Abhimanyu?"
"Yep." Banyu pulled out a chair and sat down casually in his usual place. "No. Actually, Pa, Bang Abi slept with her boyfriend in the boarding house and we mergokin him yesterday. So, Juwita's afraid of her boyfriend getting pregnant so well, mending getting married, right?"
Juwita seemed to have swallowed the stone salak. But when Adji turned to her with a question mark, Juwita knew she had to move forward.
"Yes, Mum."
Adji shook his head disgustedly. "Banyu, tell Abi to come home later malem," he ordered firmly. "Say he must be here before Papa comes home."
"Ready."
Juwita is not ready.
