The arrival of Abhimanyu's future wife was like hell for Juwita. Maybe he suddenly became a sucks prospective in-law who does not know respect for girls, his son's future wife. But the woman who came was really far from Juwita's expectations.
She is beautiful, looks good at dressing up and sweet; while she looks like she can do nothing but that.
"Hello, Auntie." The girl greeted Juwita while hugging Abhimanyu's arm, seemingly timid. "My name is Sakura, Abhimanyu's junior on campus."
Juwita is not the type of man who will be cold even if he is angry, but for the first time Juwita responds to plain children with a negative response.
"Hello." Juwita did not receive a helping hand but directed her in. "Please. Abhimanyu's father is in Dalem."
Abhimanyu was clearly aware of Juwita's cold attitude. The young man looked at her and then pretended not to know, embracing her lover in.
Sakura silently whispered to Abhimanyu. "Your mom doesn't like me, Yang."
"Well," replied Abhimanyu kissing the top of a woman's head. "That's what."
"I'm scared."
"Not pa-pa." Abhimanyu rubbed his back hoping he would stop fussing.
On the other hand, Banyu who saw the arrival of Abhimanyu—'s girlfriend was different from what they thought would come— no matter who she was but more concerned about welcoming her.
"Hi!" Banyu walked up to him and was very friendly, different from his usual attitude. "Nice to meet you, Sister-in-law Candidate. What's your name, btw?"
"Sakuras. Hi too, Banyu. Abhimanyu often told me about you. Said you were IT boy, huh?"
"Ohya?"
No. gabe. Abhimanyu didn't even tell him how much his sister was. Sakura knew from the results of stalking the Abhimanyu family account but Abhimanyu had no intention of straightening, secretly glancing at Juwita.
Why should he be cold? If he really wanted Abhimanyu to stop liking him, he should have supported all of this, right?
During the introductory session and Adji asks Sakura a lot of things, Abhimanyu is out of focus. He repeatedly glanced at Juwita who was sometimes busy with his son, sometimes busy with Cetta, but he did not want to interfere in the affairs of marriage.
And the person who is most aware of all of that is Adji.
The man also repeatedly saw Abhimanyu turning to Juwita, as if he was waiting for his stepmother to join. Adji also repeatedly turned to Juwita, realizing that Juwita was deliberately away.
Something's going on and Adji doesn't know it.
So the night after Abhimanyu's future wife came home, Adji invited his son to speak with four eyes.
"You seriously want to get married? Juwita does not give you blessing, looks like. You still want to get married?"
"Papa doesn't talk about zina." Adji. "You why Juwita? He won't be the same as you all of a sudden."
"I don't know," Abhimanyu shrugged. "I don't care, actually. Papa once said that marriage is a personal matter, right? Papa chose Juwita to be Papa's wife without consulting with us, so Papa also does not need to take care of who I marry."
"Sakura did not cook pinter, who cleaned in her apartment was a robot, and she delivered food every day as needed. Sakura and Juwita don't have to be the same."
Adji's not a fool. The child in front of him clearly did not care who his wife was and he just wanted to get married, for whatever reason.
"Okay." Adji gave up the decision on her. "Lisa used to have savings about marriage, it's for you, Banyu and Cetta. Papa will love it, manage it yourself for your needs. You can stay here, your wife, eat Papa's food, but the rest is your business. Understood?"
Abhimanyu did not reply, passing by with a stubborn face.
Not Adji not curious what exactly is. He still cares about his son and honestly Adji does not agree that Abhimanyu married a woman who seems to be able to do nothing but trouble.
But then again, if he later regretted it, he would have to regret it himself.
Adji goes upstairs, finds Juwita looking at their photo album— photos of her and the kids since a few years ago.
"What are you doing?"
Juwita shrugged her shoulders. "Resuscitate if the children are already on big."
The man smiled even though he knew his wife was lying a little. Adji is not forcing. If Juwita doesn't tell the story then she decides she doesn't need to tell the story. Adji trusts him.
"Abimanyu hasn't been that big, frankly." Adji sat down in front of her, peeping at Juwita's lips. "He still needs you to hit him in the head if he's wrong."
Juwita pursed her lips and Adji kissed her back.
"Mas."
"Hm?"
"You want to play brutal?"
Adji. Even though a moment later he smiled meaningfully. "Butally bad?"
"It's brutal." Juwita pours her arms around Adji's neck and Adji happily hugs her back.
