Metanoia; The Hybrid
CHAPTER O9: A PROMISE BETWEEN TWO BOYS.

After warming up, they begin to get busy with their own activities. Relax, said Mr. Chairoz, since it's our first day, but why does it feel like I want to explore the Astbourne Valley lands more deeply?

"You said he wouldn't rebuke me" I looked at him seriously.

"Oh yeah I forgot, prince" he chuckled while laughing.

"It's over?"

Slowly Edward stopped laughing while looking back at me. "You got a problem with me?"

"I'm the one who should ask. What's your problem with me?"

"You are so proud, the way you walk and look at your people. That's my problem."

"You haven't even seen the way I throw this knife, how can you infer that?" My toot.

Edward approached me, "Let's prove it. I'll take you around the woods."

Suddenly, an adult deer walked in front of us. The deer is big, a stag.

"Hm, I don't need your help either. Come when I call" I take a swing to throw my degger. It was highly unlikely that the creature would just die. Maybe I should slash his stomach, or hurt his neck. My hunting science is terrible.

Then, I threw my degger with full force. I wish the knife hit his body.

Right, the knife hit the deer's stomach. But look, the deer didn't react much. My guess is right, the adult deer ran the other way from us. He won't die so easily.

I immediately left Edward, chasing the adult deer who ran faster than me.

How long I have to chase after him is getting further and further away from me. There's no way I can reach him. He's too fast. The splattered blood on the ground made me stop chasing him.

I immediately got back to my feet, walking slowly following the bloodstains on the ground. My body is getting very strange. I've never been like this before. My body is warming up. I walked on until I found that the adult deer was stopping from licking its belly, which was bleeding a lot. My Degger was still stuck in his big belly. I felt like I wanted to rip apart the stomach, until all the contents came out, until the blood I was watching was in my hands.

Whispers sounded in my mind. I kept stabbing my stomach in his stomach. And easily, tore through his entire stomach with just a single move. The deer is dead already. I killed him. And I know that Edward is in front of me right now. With his stiff face looking at my actions. Look, he can't say anything more after this.

For no reason, I made my right hand that was holding a degger covered with blood, then I licked my fingers and my gurgle filled with blood. And just like that, I made Edward see me like that.

Edward stood up, putting on his surprised face. Why is he so surprised? Is this not what he wants to see? Or does he want to taste the blood of the deer I'm drinking?

I don't care either, from the beginning my intention was indeed on his blood. My throat is back to how it was, thanks to the blood. I just kept wetting my hands with his blood, then licking them. Like that a few times until Edward walked up to me.

"But they can't see you. Just wait here, I'll call Mr. Chiroz!" Edward ran away from me.
