Metanoia; The Hybrid

Metanoia; The Hybrid
CHAPTER 29: THE BOND THAT GETS STRONGER.

The night came quickly without feeling. The sun was still hanging in the sky there, with the stars appearing one by one. Right now, everyone is eating dinner. While enjoying the atmosphere of the garden decorated with garden lights, or the light of the flowers.

A small gentle breeze enveloped the Astbourne valley, aware of some clouds that had suddenly turned gray. The sounds of lightning and lightning dotted the sky, like a battle was going on up there. Makes the big and small stars in the sky disappear, hiding behind the clouds.

"Ah, it looks like the rain is coming. The one who finished eating, went straight back to the dorm" Declan ordered.

I woke up, finished my meal. With the usual steps, I walked over to the dish table and placed my plate on an empty table, as a place for dirty dishes. Unfortunately I had a sharp hearing, I overheard some people talking about me at the dinner table, they said, "Then the exam is over, Gara becomes very quiet."

"He was injured, he had bad days there. It's worth it, isn't it?"

"Is it that bad?"

"Maybe he's just exaggerating."

I could hear it, though they tried to whisper it as little as possible. When he was about to get out of the feeding pondik, Light suddenly returned. I allowed Light to land on my shoulder. The more days, he's getting heavier and bigger. Light will definitely be the only crow that is big, strong, and fast.

While everyone was still continuing their activities, I who was still standing on the footpath of the plantation took out a scroll of letters from Light's feet. When I opened, I was so happy to see the handwriting of the Allegro I knew.

"Ah, because I'm smiling. The letter must be from her brother."

"Why, the atmosphere became calmer when the mood of Gara like now."

Why are they still talking about me. Is my face so visible? I walked back to the dorm to read this letter.

"Where are you going?" Question Mr. Abraham made my step stop when I was at the crossroads, he seemed to have just finished with his last class.

"To the dorm, I want to take a break, and read this letter."

"Wait, we'll have to change your bandages first. Other children who are injured, meet me in my room" Mr. Abraham continued his journey back to his office.

He was very concerned about the health of his students.

"Thank God you have people watching you. There are many children out there who live without being glimpsed by others."

You're so careful, Saga.

I let go of the light, and he flew into the dormitory. I wonder why he's there. I followed Mr. Abraham. Get inside his office and head for the second floor, there Mr.'s medical room. Abraham is.

I should have been treated by the Healers in the Academy hospital, but Mr. Abraham volunteered to treat me personally. He didn't want to surprise the Academy Healers with my condition, and even more so to keep my secret.

When he arrived on the second floor, the teacher was preparing his tools as usual. I will never get tired of going into this room. There are so many things that make me feel at home to linger.

"Sit down, I'll help you take your clothes off."

I just followed him. Of course, if I wasn't very careful, my injuries could have been felt back. Afterwards the teacher started to remove the bandage on my body.

"You still thinking about it?" Ask the teacher about his activities.

"How Mr. Abraham know?"

Mr. Abraham touched the space between my eyebrows, "You frowned and your eyebrows, of course I know. You're not used to doing it."

I even just realized I was frowning and frowning. "Oh, right."

"What are you here for?"

The question made me pause for a moment, the teacher also must have realized the pause, "I originally wanted to isolate myself and run my identity, become stronger, become more mature. No one is really the reason for me to come to this place. Sometimes I think I'll protect everyone including my family from any harm, but on the other hand, I'm even the only danger for them."

"You're here to keep the people you want to protect safe from you, you also want to be strong to protect those people. You're a very good boy. If you want that to happen, you must not think too much about something that is not yet certain" the teacher advised.

"You're right"

"Teacher, what about my wound, what's the band to replace?" Edward surprised me, he came suddenly.

"You destroyed your own hand, of course you still have to use this medicine" Mr. Abraham hinted Edward to sit in his seat.

"How can you break your hand?" Askaqua. I can't keep my questions going.

"It's nothing"

"Say, when you fell into the lake, the whole surface became ice. There's no way you can get out of that lake. Edward destroyed part of the surface with his own hands, to be able to save you from there" explained Mr. Abraham cut off Edward's words.

"I didn't say it - Mr. Abraham! You promised..." Edward was wrong.

"I'm sorry, hahaha."

"Certainly Edward?" I looked at him seriously.

"I'm out of energy. I didn't know it was gonna happen."

"I expected it!"

We were both shocked together, because of the sudden arrival of Chlea as well. He went in and sat down next to Edward, "I expected it, because I saw you alone out of power when I wanted to teleport in the forest back then!"

Look, his face was about to explode, and his eyes were starting to stem those tears again. You still want to cry when you come face to face with me, Chlea.

"You want to cry?" I said, hoping he would really let out all his tears that he had withstood.

"I... I don't want to cry in front of you, it's embarrassing. You're... You're my Alpha, how is that possible... I'm..."

Chlea held back her cries, she covered her entire face with her palm. He was about to hold that cry again. His voice made the room warm. Immediately I approached Chlea and hugged her when Mr. Abraham finished the bandage on my body.

"I wonder why you're holding your cry. A Beta is still a half-wolf. Cry, tell me why you always want to cry when you're dealing with me?" My speech.

When I finished speaking, I felt another 3 auras right outside the room. It was Ardan, Jack, and Selena.

Edward now took a turn to be replaced by his bandage, while I was still standing hugging Chlea. "I just don't want to... You're wounded. And you promised me you wouldn't be touched by Psychophagos again. But... You're..."

I rubbed his back rhythmically. This will probably make him comfortable. Crying as much as I could, I couldn't bear to watch you hold it. "I'm sorry for not keeping my promise."

Her crying voice really made me warm up. I also felt this atmosphere, a long time ago, when I cried. I forgot why. All that was left in my memory was Brother Allegro hugging me. Makes me feel comfortable.

For a long time, Chlea stopped crying. I let go and noticed her red face. He looked embarrassed, of course, Beta who was crying in front of an Alpha. Why could he think like that?

"Required?" I asked, and he just nodded. Then, it was Chlea's turn to be replaced by her bandage. I didn't leave the room, I felt like I wanted to wait for them. Edward sat back with me.

I grabbed Edward's wrist, "You can't think long. It's always like that."

Edward let me pay close attention to his hands, "What the hell with 'always like that' huh? Not what I expected."

I smiled wryly, "Thank you again."

My words made Edward turn his face away, but I'm sure he was happy to hear that.

"But why did you do it?" My toot.

"You moron? You could freeze to death, then what about us? You can't think long either!" Babbles

I put his hand back, "Yes, yes."

After Chlea finished, I put my clothes back on, then the three of us walked out of the room. There were other kids coming in after us. Outside, I actually found Ardan, Jack and Selena. He said they wanted to wait for us. I was trying to get more familiar with my own clan. I've never been in this position before.

Upon arriving at the dormitory, we spent our free time resting in each room. Turns out Light made the corner of my bed a place to rest. I prefer to be on my bed, reading a letter from Brother Allegro.

"You're gonna read it, from your brother, right?" Suddenly Jack came to my bed. He went up and slept next to me. He was also wearing the blanket I was using.

"Yes. You want to hear it?"

"Can?" Unknowingly, Chlea and Ardan are in Chela's bed.

"By" I replied.

"I also want to hear" Edward even joined in all of a sudden. I smiled looking at all of them, then unrolled the letter.

"The writing is so beautiful" amazed Ardan.

"Angkara. Dorforwyn, Danveurn..."

I paused for a moment. Why did Allegro write it with a different address?

"Hi brother. I heard your story from the letter you sent. I hope you're okay after the test. Actually, I know you can guess my whereabouts just by reading that address. Yeah, I'm in Dorforwyn. It was only me and my father who visited the Angkara kingdom. The ascension to the throne of the father will not be long, so I take care of some of his affairs here. Aren't you curious, why would I want to come with you to the Angkara kingdom? Yeah, I'll come visit you."

I widened my eyes, glad to hear that Brother Allegro will visit me.

"But I don't know when the right day is. I heard Vale and 6 other troops were deployed to search for your whereabouts. Dylan must have said it. I'll wait for Vale and his troops to die down on the Angkara pack. They could have followed me when they came to visit you. I wouldn't be taken by such a trap. All right, take care of your health. I don't know why I'm worried about you, as if something happened to you. Don't try to lie to me, okay? Tell me if something has happened. Soon I will come. If you have time, write me a letter. I love you, Gara. Allegro."

The letter just ended. But my love is not over. I can't wait to see Brother Allegro. I hope there is a good day for him to come here.

"Wow, Prince Allegro is coming! I can't wait to see his face" Chlea said.

"I wish he'd come as soon as possible" I said.
